Efficient service
Efficient service and gets your negs, slides and films in a single place. A car load of old films fitted onto a single chip!
It would have been better if they had dusted the films first. The digitised films are spoiled by fluff on the screen.

Dear Major Timothy Hallchurch. Thank you for your 4-star review on our services. Indeed it is very impressive taking an archive and then handing over a single USB stick with the contents. With regards to the films having dust. We do remove dust and obstructions from the film first. This is a standard requirement that is in line with The National Archives. I will personally be looking through your films to see if the issues are deterioration, which unfortunately cannot be removed. I will be in touch soon. Kind regards Cheryl - Director ODC
VHS transfer to digital
Did exactly what they said they would do in a timely and cost effective manner. We now have access to some very important, to us, video content.

Excellent organisation to work with
This organisation was very good from start to finish. They produced an excellent digital copy of quite frankly very old reel-to-reel tapes. It has been really delightful to recover music that we thought was lost.

I found an old and fragile cassette…
I found an old and fragile cassette tape of my dad singing in the 1980s which he had self-recorded. Oxford Duplication Centre were able to"polish"it and transfer to CD and memory stick, so my dad, who has dementia, can sing along to himself. And I have a permanent record too. A very swift and thorough service, thank you.

Fantastic service with a very human touch.
It was a great pleasure to work with the ODC. They were cheerful and professional throughout. I had a tricky job that required considerable care and attention (digitizing old family documents in not great condition) and they took enormous trouble and 100% delivered.

Saved for the future
I first started making 8mm cine film in the 1950s, This continued with super 8 film in the 70s and 80s. In the 90s I was filming with a video tape camera For nearly 30 years these films lay in the attic until urged by the family I took them to ODC in several batches during 2021 and 2022. They made an excellent job of transfering all these different formats to digital. Now all are safely stored on one high capacity drive. Cheryl and the team were pleasant, professional and helpful throughout and I am delighted with the results.
