Philips Trust took over TheFamily Trust/will writing company the director was Richard Wells who from 2018-2019 was also a director of Deedbank. I was informed he had deposited our original documents In Deedbank Deedbank said they sent them to him in 2018-2019 then they said they had them. These are our legal documents Philips was being looked at by Tow and country Law on our behalf it took seven years to sign the paper work to relinquish them as Trustees and we are still trying to get our original legal documents back Please watch out on both companies

During the run up to the recent general election, the BBC were asking people to suggest issues that they would like to be aired.

Twice I contacted them as requested, stating that an excellent topic for discussion would be the failure of each of the three major political parties to prevent the prosecution of innocent postmasters/
misstresses in the Post Office/Horizon scandal.

Keir Starmer was Attorney General; Ed Davey was Minister in charge of The Post Office, yet both these men when in power, failed to question the fact that hundreds of respected pillars of our communities were being prosecuted.

Surely if Starmer and Davey had been fit for purpose, alarm bells should have rung.
They were both in well remunerated positions to prevent this gross miscarriage of justice, yet failed to question or prevent it.
The Conservatives gave Paula Vennells a major honour so are also tarnished.

My requests for the BBC to bring up this atrocious miscarriage of justice with those concerned was ignored.

My question is: Was there an agreement between our prospective leaders and the BBC that this particular topic should not be discussed in the run up to the election?

If this is so; then this makes the so called independence of the BBC a sham and another lie orchestrated by our ruling establishment.

Surely the involvement of those concerned in the prosecution of good and innocent people should have been a major issue for debate in the run up to a general election; yet the BBC denied us this.
I wonder why?

Abhorrent organisation who signposted my elderley and vulnerable parents into a highly risky and borderline illegal investment portfolio.

The Phillps Trust Corporation was not registered with the FCA and the Nottingham Building Society's salespeople knew this. Incredibly irresponsible and greedy behaviour from a supposedly reputable high street building society.

My parents have spent two years battling with the administrators at great personal cost to secure their property and sone return on their investments and this is still unresolved.

An organisation that have no integrity and would be most suited to the management of a child's piggy bank rather than a complex trust portfolio.

This would seem to be more concurrent with their intellectual abilities and business acumen.

A loathsome organisation that should be investigated by the police and suspended from trading.

This company has the money from the sale of my parents house as well as an ISA in my mothers name. Unfortunately they are not regulated and have gone into administration. The Administrators are a company called KROLL.

I ordered an iron on 2/01/2023 which delivered today on 13th. They didn’t pack it properly it has been sent with iron’s own box. It is broken !!!

My Aunt and Uncle has took their wills out with Philips trust and put their documents in a deed bank they are both in their 90s and some scumbag came out to their bungalow from Leeds and Holbein Society. Why has this been allowed to happen as they have Frauded people out of thousands cannot get intouch with anybody can anyone help please

I have easily established the dodgy directors of this company, also the Administrators Kroll Advisory will know who they are. So we are going to take them to court for fraud lets see how they like that !

My MP is bring the matter to the attention of the treasury over the building societies who introduced there savers to Will Writing Company and Philips trust so do write to your MP

My husband and I put our house in trust with the family trust organisation and did our will with the will writing company at the same time. We only went into do an isa and this was advertised in the building society. This week we received a letter from the Family Trust Organisation, which I thought had been taken over by the Phillips Trust organisation, to send a cheque for £1080 to register the trust with HMRC due to changes in legislation. if not paid b6 13th June late payment penalties incur of £12.50 per week! So unsure whether to pay or not.

Leeds Building Society allowed this company that were not part of the FCA to advertise their services in their branches to customers advising them to put their assets into Trust to protect in the event they should go into a care home etc. My elderly aunt unfortunately was one of these people that took advice thinking that a building society would only be allowing a reputable company they had looked into deal with their customers and put her assets into the trust. She paid £3000 to set up the trust originally and then admin fees to the trust per year and has managed to get her house out of the trust through a solicitor but this then cost her another £3000 plus solicitors fees and also fees to the land registry. She still had £30000 in the trust which she was told was put into bonds by the trust but no one seems to know where they are. This company is now in liquidation and it it up to the administrators now to distribute any monies back to these people if there is anything at all. Some people have no morals whatsoever and our family are totally disgusted in what has happened to our family member at the age of 82 years old. These people have worked for this money and the Leeds Building society should be partly held responsible for reimbursing these people.

SCAMMERS EVRY SINGLE ONE OF THEM INCLUDING James Masters who has now left and Maria Jones. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. These cowboys will get whats coming to them and that's Karma. you have screwed over so many people and I rumbled you from way back in 2019. thank GOD you have gone into administration and can not do this to any more people.

As a client of this company I watched the Rip Off Britain programme shown today. This company has no conscience whatsoever as regards it’s customers. We have been constantly lied to from the beginning when our late Mother invested her savings with them following the collapse of the Will Writing Company. We at least got them to pay for 2 months of her care in a residential home after which she sadly passed away in October 2020. Since then it has been a constant battle to retrieve our inheritance and now we are in no further with this problem. It is not only my sister and myself who have been cheated but our dear late Mother. The situation is soul destroying. Christine.

shocking company my dad took a trust out with newcastle will writing company in 2008 totally misold, one was they did not tell us that you cannot insure the property once it in the trust the trust has to insure it, (the home visit is another story (hind sight) the person who came with her friend??????who was also my dads friend??????? they changed his will to???? so my dad died in december 2018 and if the property needed to claim on the insurance it would of been void
i found out in december 2016 that the newcastle will writing company went bust and took till january 2019 too sort out at another cost of £4000
i went through three different people at the phillips trust all mysteriously disappeared even my solicitor found this strange.
i contacted newcastle building society in 2017 about this they’re did not want to know stating it was just a advert in our branch????,my friend went to newcastle building society to invest some money and they arranged for the will writing company to visit him at home to sort investment and a trust.. 6 months later will writing company went bust???
when my dad died in 2018 i could not sell the property or sort other things out, insuring the property was a nightmare but found one company that would insure it as i was a trustee but i had to visit the property twice a day and keep a report of every visit and what i looked at.
then council tax council would not let let me have 6 months free because of a death i was a trustee so i had to pay council tax for 12month till the trust was sorted out (misold information)
also i had to drain all water down but needed to pay electricity (elect supplier were the only help and let me pay £20 a month till i sorted the trust out)i had to pay water rates for 12month as well so i had a water meter fitted to save money
honestly this took its toll on me (happy pills)2016 till 2019 and a death too(nhs were crap too they said dads medically fit including his doctor and can go home (bloody social workers over rule nhs)after three months in hospital then sent him home only to die three weeks later honestly i knew has was dying the only other people who helped were the district nurses who arranged a continuing health order as he ticked the first box “incontinent” i moved in with dad for them three weeks (like my mothers death )to look after him it was very hard but you have to do what you have to doo, and so called newcastle council when you report a death they send all death information to the relevant people as per gov brought this in (tax etc) no i was told newcastle council don’t do this as it’s to time consuming and costly????????????? you have to do it eh in a time like this.
phillips trust sent paperwork to our solicitor for transfer of the property to new trustees he could not sign or use it as the will writing company did not add a clause in the deeds that the house was in trust so if one of trustee tried to sell the property it would flag up(another misold item) so more down time back and forward
when this was sorted out our solicitor told us “you got out just in time” as philips trust is now not allowing people retire a trust which is illegal they put a clause in new paper work that 20% they would take on the
person death and it was there cut???
honestly i cannot believe any one can set up a will writing company and need no qualifications
, i contacted sra, solicitor requality authority (who gave newcastle will writing company accreditation in early 2017 it’s on the internet best thing since best bread they said)local mp was no help nothing to do with us i said this needs aired to inform people,
no help ombudsman no help citizens advise no help as many others

and daily mail, daily mail are doing an article on this they contacted me and we have had a conversation about this they are shocked at what has gone on and shocked that building societies placed an advert in there branches where oap,s use and not just newcastle

to me this was not about the money loss but these people need a strong fine and jail absolutely a disgrace.

I concur with the comments 4 days ago from Catrin regarding these companies. I too had experience of Tom Gormley and his various businesses starting with the Will Writing Company (recommended by Newcastle Building Society) and working through the Family Trust, The Phillips Trust, Deedbank, Taylor-Rose Solicitors, etc. The common theme throughout was Tom Gormley. I was lucky and found an excellent local solicitor who managed for about £1000 to unravel the mess and get rid of Gormley and his associates. However getting the documents back from the Deedbank was equally tricky as Gormley hides behind "PO BOX" numbers rather than business addresses and telephones. I finally got my documents back in a clandestine meeting in a lay-by beside an A Class Road outside Nottingham. At least I got the opportunity to tell Gormley (in his privately registered Range Rover) what I thought about him. I'm lucky, my assets and home are all safe and in a new Trust administered by my daughter and son-in-law. I just hope that the rest of you get an equally good result and that Gormley is locked up and the key thrown away.
