Disgusting App that pick me have!!

Disgusting App !!! I am writing the complain in disgust of the pick me app and it's services to the customers !!
Need more competition to make these services provides pay and have a fair app !!
I have never see such a app that is for the crooked tak tak drives then for to help the customer !!! There needs to have competitor to clean up there act !!!
Some of the things pick me can improve on !!
When booking don't allow the tak tak driver to have a choice of cancelling the booking onece its booked .
Let the app choose the driver nearest to the booking . And if the driver cancel the booking more then two time's per each day . They can't use pick me for that day !!
If more then two complaints per day they are blocked for that day .

Typical PickMe Drivers. This is after a pickme ride with my 2 kids today. Endless unwanted calls and messages. This is the third complaint for this month. Drunk drivers, careless drivers and now this.

Scam

Scam. The price you get from the app is so low compared to the real price. The driver took a longer route and a 3 hours trip turned in to 4 hours and 20 min.
The price 5000 more than stated.
Do never go with Them.

They are the worst.i placed an order…

They are the worst.i placed an order through debit card and then there was a duplicate order through cash.the card payment was processed.Called the customer service and clearly informed to cancel the cash order.insted they had cancelled the card order .punt got reversed .I again called them and asked them as to why they had cancelled the card order instead of the cash order duplicated. They apologized and told me that to pay through card and obtain points and once the driver arrives to change the payment method to points.i informed the driver when he was at the merchant's location.later when he arrived he said he could not change and asked to pay cash.nk one was at the house to pay cash and I had to arrange cash through neighbour.

Pickme me Driver Named Dayandanda…

Pickme me Driver Named Dayandanda Gamaralage (Vehicle number KS 3456) phone number 0714990800 blatantly refuse to accept 4 passengers just before half and hour ago when the concerned party said if there is any problem that the only male passenger was ready to get down from vehicle at any time they face such problem. There were only 2 women and 1 girl and 1 boy part from the male (Husband of one woman). The time now is 1.38 pm.
This type of inappropriate drivers should not be engaged in taxi service especially at night when ladies and children are passengers!
The 2nd driver we booked had no such problem and is now completing the expected journey!
So essentially it is high time for customers to seek disciplined taxi drivers during night!

I got into a pick me cab with driver named mohommed Ibnu Habbas (number plate : PJ5479) (Trip ID : 227456684) with my portable working station (laptop, monitor, iPad, etc) at piliyanadala at 9.30 pm. My destination was mount Lavinia. On the way I asked the pick me driver to stop at the Burger King in K zone moratuwa for me to order some dinner. He asked me to switch my destination to the Burger King from mount Lavinia saying that there is a new update on the pick me app. I've used pick me for over 4 years and I've never encountered this situation before. Forcefully he asked me to change my destination to the Burger king, so I did it. Then I went into the Burger King to get my food and went back to the pick me cab. When I got in, the driver had cancelled the tour and told me to put a new tour with him from Burger King to mount Lavinia. When I refused he forcefully asked me to leave. He then exchanged verbally abusive words and turned around and started beating me up. He got out of his seat and pulled me out and started throwing my stuff out. My monitor fell down from the seat to the floor of the cab while he was doing so. I gave him the money I owed and he got into his cab and he left. So I was stranded in the middle of the road with my equipment and I ordered an Uber who dropped me to my final location in mount Lavinia.

This could be his and pick me's strategy to earn off people's money unknowingly.
I called pick me but they didn't respond. I later on sent so many messages through their pick me app, yet there was no response.

The drivers can drive a longer way = you pay more

The drivers can drive a longer way, so you need to pay more. We went from about 3.000 to 5.000 lkr because of that.
We complained but Pick Me answered that they believed the driver, even though they could see the prize should have been around 3.000.
They closed the case immediately so we could’t have another say in it.

Terrible drivers

We recently used pick me in late night around 2am. and discovered that the taxi took a longer route.(around 10 additional kilometers).wanted to go to panadura from kolpity.No traffic at all in the galle road at that time.Bt that greedy driver used piliyandala,kesbawa route for that 25 mints ride.so finally it took 1hr for us to come. I don't know how often this occurs, although it certainly does, especially if a dishonest driver beliefs he has a very tired ,sleepy customer after work.so when you take your next ride clear route details with taxi drivers otherwise it will cost you more with these types of GREEDY drivers.So feel Very disappointed about the servive.Specially about the Greedy drivers who willing to do anything for rs.100

Not trustworthy, unorganized, not customer-friendly

I have taken 2 trips so far - March 15 and March 29.
On March 15, my first tip with them, I had pre-ordered a cab. Somehow, I couldn't enter the LKR 250 first-trip coupon when I pre-ordered. 15 minutes before pickup time, driver called me up and said there would be an LKR 300 pickup charge - not knowing anything about this service and also being in a fix due to time-crunch, I said OK. Driver came and even before our journey began, I received a ride completed notification. I told driver about it and he said he tapped wrong button on the phone. At the drop-off, he showed me a bill of LKR 1025 on another phone so I paid him LKR 1325 (1025 + 300 pickup charge). I let them know about all of this - they said LKR 300 charge is not allowed and they would look into it + total trip charge + not being able to use a LKR 250 first-trip coupon.

Now, after almost a month, they have sent me 2 coupons: one for first-ride LKR 250 off and another one for the LKR 300 pick-up charge - both have April 30 as the expiration. I have contacted them and they said all coupons come with expiration.

My complaint is: the money I handed over didn't have any expiration date and nor was it an IOU - why can't they just resolve this matter by sending me a refund of LKR 550 in cash? I guess they really don't want to serve customers, that's why. Trips don't give you an estimate of the cost, estimate of the time, etc.

I will NOT use this service again.
