I never received my order from DPD
I never received my order from DPD. When I entered my postcode, my address appeared automatically, so I selected it to populate the address fields. However, there appears to have been a system glitch that changed the final part of my postcode to Z00. The correct ending of my postcode is 9EP, so this was not something I could have entered accidentally. I did not see this and didn’t expect this to have been changed.
Despite the rest of my address being correct, DPD stated they were unable to locate my property or attempt delivery. As a result, my order was destroyed. Pipers Farm have since only offered a 50% discount on a future order, with no refund, even though the issue was caused by a fault in their system. This company really needs to look at who they use for delivery.

Terrible customer service
My first time ordering and i never even got to try the meat!
I ordered and was home at time of delivery. Along with my flat number being stated, the building has a working entry system, and no attempt was made to ring my flat or access the lobby. The box was left on the street and was gone shortly after - before I could get to it.
The real issue is not the courier — it’s Pipers Farm’s response.
Customer service chose to defend their delivery partner and state that “protocol was followed,” rather than acknowledge that leaving perishable food unattended on a public street is not acceptable - when no delivery attempt was made. The context of my complaint was ignored entirely.
Instead of accountability, I was advised to manage delivery settings “next time,” despite this being my first order and despite me doing everything reasonably expected as a customer.

Quality or lack of
Initially, following the day of order, customer service was excellent. Changed my delivery address easily with a quick e mail conversation.
My meat arrived today, pigs in blankets unravelling, so basically looks like a pack of supermarket sausages with a few streaky bacon bits shoved in a bag.,
The stuffing seems to have been shaken alive and looks more like xmas pudding,. Lol
The lamb looks like it is still rolling around on a field in a bag that is about four times too big,. No care with the packaging., I am going away for a few days prior to Xmas hence an accurate delivery date was required, the moment the package arrived i got a text saying that last order date was tomorrow so that screws replacement,. I have rebuilt the pigs in blankets, re packaged the meat, and hopefully rescued the stuffing. Additionally, ordered meat from Waitrose,
Wont be using again and will have an interesting conversation with customer service tomorrow .

I bought a Christmas charcuterie and…
I bought a Christmas charcuterie and cheese present for my family in wales. The DPD driver rang me ( Hampshire) for directions. Apparently he was in a flooded area and hoped we could come down in a 4x4 to pick up the parcel. He realised it was food.
In the end he managed to get through the flood and deliver it. So well done Pipers for choosing an excellent delivery company who will go the extra mile, even through a flood. Btw the family were delighted with it - but not eating it before Christmas!!

First order from Pipers Farm. Arrived on time and in environmentally friendly packaging. The products were of a very high standard. So far we have only tasted the faggots. Absolutely delicious , my husband a renowned expert declared the best he had ever eaten. Looking forward to testing the beef, steak and bacon in due course. Pipers will definitely be on my “go to “ list. Very impressed with the quality.

Not very helpful, very disappointing.
I have used this company a couple of times and the meat has been very good, albeit expensive. Unfortunately, they have a minimum order value of £40.00 on their website. My order came to £36.60. I rang the company who were most unhelpful and flatly refused to come to any arrangement that would enable the order to go through; I even offered to pay the 40p difference to get my order, but they flatly refused to help. They obviously have far too much business it's very diappointing - I won't be using them again.

Quality produce
Quality produce, especially love the beef. Delivery is excellent, you pick the day and dpd give you a 1 hour window. Happy customer.

My local farm shop closed their Christmas orders early this year, leaving us stranded: a rapid search brought our attention to the Pipers Farm online farm shop. Their products looked excellent, offering a wide choice at competitive prices. Ordering was easy, subsequent communication superb, and delivery was accomplished very quickly. The items we ordered were delivered by courier: packaging was terrific, with plentiful padding and ice packs, so the items arrived in wonderful condition. Our DPD courier delivered exactly during the delivery window advised by Pipers Farm. I cannot fault this process. We have yet to sample the products, but attention to detail even included cooking instructions provided by a scan code. I would recommend Pipers Farm, without hesitation.

Wonderful ethics for all their meat and poultry produce. The quality puts all our supermarkets to shame! Huge range to choose from, plus ready meals, (the curries are superb!) cupboard items, recipies etc, etc. Nationwide next day delivery available, arriving 100% frozen solid. What's not to like?! Try them - and return!! ❤️

Pipers Farm over-delivered on both quality and customer service! I was extremely happy with the on-time delivery, very thoughtful packaging and especially the superior quality turkey we enjoyed last week for Thanksgiving. Will definitely purchase from Pipers Farm again in the future!
Great Turkey, some shaky delivery service
The flavor of the turkey, chicken stock and ham I recieved were all top notch.
However, the turkey still had some of the feather stubs still in the skin and for the price I thought this was a bit ridiculous. Had to pull em out which took awhile.
Additionally, you all need to be a bit more serious with your delivery carriers because whoever you are using right now is cheeks.
My delivery address was changed to a similar address a block up the road when the driver refused to deliver to the correct address. He then lied on the delivery time to state that it was delivered in the morning. My neighbors said they had it for about an hour and a half when I grabbed it around 7pm.
This service (DPD) also has no way to correct an address, forward a complaint or indicate that something wrong happened with the package.
Very well packaged order
Very well packaged order. The turkey breast, leg and other meats look delicious. I’m looking forward to cooking them on Xmas day.

I ordered my rib of beef on the bone. It arrived in perfect condition and extremely cold 🥶 I am very pleased with it, I can’t wait to cook it on Boxing Day for a big family gathering. I will recommend Pipers Farm to my friends. More people should support the farmers. Thank you.
Pipers farm customer for a long time
Been a pipers farm customer for a long time. Many orders.
Apart from a few hiccups on DPD’s part, the meat is always great quality!
(Hiccups like drivers throwing the box over a fence - Caught on cctv.
They’ve also delivered to the wrong house somehow when I live in the countryside.)
I’ve seen the prices go up over time being a customer.
In a year they’ve gone up 3 times….
(I can check from past orders.)
PIPERS REWARDS are a marketing thing to keep you buying.
I’ve been a platinum customer for a long time, received 1 free set of chicken wings.
Never received anything else they say they offer.
Like new products emails/exclusives.
I’ve gotten nothing.
It’s just to make you order more frequently.
(Yes I’ve checked spam..)
They say you can refreeze the defrosted food.
I’m okay to do this if it still feels partly frozen.
But when DPD went on strike and my box was in a warehouse for an additional 24hrs… I got told by Liz in an email that I should “judge by smell”
(Multiple packs of defrosting meat)
There was blood in some burger packets… had to bin those.
Liz told me “personally would go with smell test, but ultimately choice is up to you”
48hrs in a warehouse.
I got 2 burgers refunded because the blood was evidently coming from package.
Rest of the food I just had to accept and roll the dice, hope I don’t get sick from.
This was a big reality check for me, because I thought they would see the error and send a new box out.
My most recent order had a stuffed chicken in it.
They refunded me telling me it was pre order, (despite still selling on website)
Then a nicer customer service member told me the refund was a mistake, and it’s the normal chickens on pre order. Not stuffed ones.
I was hoping I would get offered free delivery for the stuffed chicken as a “sorry for the error on our part”
Instead I got silence.
I had told my friend and cousins about pipers farm, they were looking forward to buying some food.
After hearing my problems, they don’t want to order now.
There’s a customer service problem where some members are fantastic and love helping.
Then there’s the people who are showing up for work and can’t wait to get home. 🤷♂️

We received our Thanksgiving turkey…
We received our Thanksgiving turkey today and it is a very sad sight indeed. It has not been properly plucked and there are hundreds of hard, broken feathers remaining in the skin of the turkey. When you run your hand along the skin you feel hard bumps - unlike any raw turkey or chicken I have ever touched (and I am an experienced cook who roasts poultry most weeks). Pipers keeps telling me that they expect "pigment" to be there because it is a heritage breed - however all I can say is in over ten years of cooking a heritage bronze turkey every year I have never received one like this. There are hundreds of HARD feather follicles with feathers remaining inside and it will take us at least 4 hours to properly finish preparing this turkey. We politely called to discuss and sent pictures and they have said that this is how they believe it should be. Therefore, I am now sharing my experience so others will not be as sorely let down by this company as I have been.
Recently disappointed
Meat is excellent and have never had any issues in the past however had some very disappointing interactions with their customer service team regarding my last order.
