A company of excuses

P J H were due to deliver a shower on 6th July. The driver contacted us at 6.30 am that morning informing us he would arrive around 14.10. At 15.52 we received a phone call telling us the driver couldn’t make it as he would be out of driving hours!!! Received phone call two days later rescheduling delivery for 20th July. The driver rang at 5.30 am asking for directions. Received text at 7.06 informing us delivery had left the depot. Received a phone call at 10.08 telling us driver couldn’t make delivery due to police incident and vans not allowed to leave the yard so no delivery. We told PJH we would contact B & Q as this was the third time a delivery had been cancelled. At 10.31 received phone call from PJH to say delivery would be going ahead albeit late as the vans had been released. At 11.59 the driver sent a text informing us he had just cleared the incident and would be with us within 90 minutes. This was 1 1/2 hours after being to,d he was in his way. Eventually they did arrive. This company makes excuses for its dreadful service. Why B & Q use them is beyond us as it must surely damage their reputation.

What a poor organisation

What a poor organisation! They couldn't organise a child's birthday party, let alone a delivery. B&Q must be losing so many orders using these people. I ordered a shower door from B&Q (it was actually in-stock in my local store!) on a Saturday, however, as I needed it delivered it had to come through PJH. I was told delivery would take up to 4 working days. I was contacted by PJH on the following Mondat to arrange delivery. They told me that it would not be despatched until Wednesday and would probably be with me on Friday. All good. However, Friday vcame and no sign of a delivery. I phone PJH and asked where my goods were. After a long time of faffing around I was told that as I had contacted them late (wrong way round - they contacted me!) it had missed the Wednesday despatch. Ordinarily this would mean I would have to wait until the following Wednesday before the item was shipped but as they were short of drivers it may not be despatched for 2 weeks more and MAY be with me in 3 weeks time! At this point I have cancelled the order. I have purchased a very similar item from Amazon to be delivered by their Prime service in 3 days time. What a difference.

Fantastic service

Had a delivery today 30/06/21. One item had a small bit of damage, probably done at works. I phoned customer services in Bolton and spoke to lovely lady by the name of Rebecca who arranged a replacement within just a couple of days. Very professional, very pleasant and, all round, a fantastic service. Thank You!

Had a delivery today my son accepted…

Had a delivery today my son accepted the delivery. Driver knocked on the door and vaped in his face not a great experience during a pandemic to have vape in your face delivery team wore no masks and were not happy to take the bath being delivered up stair. All in all rude unprofessional service and definitely not applying COVID rules of masks or hand gel. Need to develop a professional approach to customer service. I have called up this morning to complain

The delivery was faultless

The delivery was faultless, the communication was excellent & the deliverers were perfect gentlemen.

A lot of people have given negative reviews because they were not happy with the product they bought, which is not the fault of the deliverers.

PJH are excellent!

No problems at all.

Product is what I ordered. Delivery was brilliant. Everything you would want deliveries to be. Kept informed and updated. Delivered on specified date. A call from the driver half an hour before delivery. Friendly and helpful delivery team.

Bought a toilet from B&Q

Bought a toilet from B&Q, after installing it the plumber realised that the valve was faulty and water continue to run into the cistern, obviously I cannot leave it as such so asked the plumber to get a new valve while we contact the manufacturer, we did but got no where, very bad customer service and all kind of excuses not to refund.
Deceitful company and I am appalled the B&Q are doing business with them.

Avoid PJH, PRIMA kitchen appliances..

During the purchase of a new kitchen we were sold PRIMA appliances , dishwasher, Oven , Fridge Freezer. After 1 month the dishwasher broke down. It has taken 5 months to get it replaced with a new Unit as spares were not available. After 4 months the main oven element failed, no parts available, a new Oven was delivered. After fitting of replacement , we are now left with an Oven which diesn't switch off its fan when the cooking cycle has completed. Very difficult to get hold of PJH, always on hold for 40 mins or so. they then fob you off to Glen Dimplex who are the service engineers....They take at least 14 days to visit the failed units and often say that units are not repairable and have to be replaced.
Please avoid PRIMA appliances, PJH as supplying compamy and GLEN DIMPLEX as the service agents...

No problem with delivery today

No problem with delivery today, can’t comment on items as will not be opened until Builder needs, spoke with office day before, original time was between 7:30am to 1pm they gave me new drop off time of 7:30am to 9:30am, driver called when on way 8am arrived 8:15am, poor chap was on his own due to sickness, carried items into garage as requested, in all a good quick on time delivery

Disgusting level of service

Disgusting level of service. Ordered shower cubicle, shower door, pedestal and basins from B&Q. 30% of my order came damaged with boxes open and damaged. Called customer service who were deceitful and unhelpful. Please avoid this company. B&Q - you need to take a look at this company and what disgusting service this company is providing on your behalf. Absolutely appalled.

RUBBER SEALS FOR SHOWER DOORS

Ordered two rubber seals for bottom of shower doors, in Dec 2020, they arrived in May 2021, over 5 months later.
Disgraceful service, emailed and phoned numerous times to be given the same old story, "out of stock due in soon when they arrive in warehouse they will be sent straight out to you"
Can't fault the staff you speak to, they are friendly, and courteous and every email to them is followed up with a phone call.
They really need to look at their ordering and procurement, because this is the worst company I've had to deal with, like something from the 1970s.

Teka washing machine..........

I was sold a Teka washing machine from my Kitchen company.
The machine broke within 2 weeks, I had to wait 5 weeks for an engineer then to be told it was fitted incorrectly - it wasn't. The 2nd engineer couldn't move the machine due to company policy and therefore couldn't fix it. I would not advise buying a Teka washing machine and PJH was not an easy to deal with

Wrong item recieved

The drivers were great and on time.My problem was when we opened a chest of drawers ordered from B & Q It was the wrong ones.I spent ages with B & Q and they were in contact with the carrier.The carrier could not find what we had been delivered.I am not allowed a collection I have to send an email And photo's of the box and item.I was given a wrong email adress and cannot find a complaints department My contract was with B & Q who should have taken responsability.Shocking service

They turned up on time ...

All I can say is they notified me about the delivery time, turned up on time and were not impolite. So no reason for fewer than five stars on this occasion.

This company it utter rubbish and very ignorant, they do not answer emails, do not communicate with each other and do not deliver your items on time, B and Q who use these people need to look elsewhere to find a better show than this useless lot

Waiting in all morning

Waiting in all morning , my new suite arrived 3 hours after time it was ment to arrive, delivery driver was very rude and dropped off my suite by my bins and refused to deliver up into my property.

Bad system.

Wasnt going to bother doing a review but given 76% bad I think I should add my voice. Waiting for a sink. Replied to text inviting me to book a delivery slot. Got text confirming delivery date. Didnt turn up. Waited till next day. Didnt turn up. Phoned company. They said no delivery slot had been booked. She seemed unconcerned when I said reveiws about her company was 76% bad!!

She re-booked it. I wait to see if it turns up as promised!
