Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. My 74 year old mother had a whole bathroom suite and shower cubicle delivered today and they dumped it in her front garden and refused to even put larger items in her hallway. It's their policy apparently. Shame on you 2 men who delivered this morning for leaving my mother in floods of tears. By the way she's partially disabled and i hope your mother isn't left like this. I understand Covid but come on have a heart she could have sat in her front while you put it in hallway. We've sorted now no thanks to you. Would never recommend using this company.
Great communication and easy delivery
I got several emails and text messages in the days running up to the delivery telling me the 7am-1pm expected time frame, I got a phone call 40 minutes before they arrived as well, plus the live tracker link also gave me an ETA. Two delivery men had no problems carrying the heavy toilet up to my first floor flat and asked me where I wanted them to put it. All very courteous and good service, would definately recommend!

What a great delivery service. Had a few phone texts telling me time of delivery from B&Q. Delivery today just after 7am 16/03/21. This is
the second delivery by PJH every time the guy's have been wonderful and helpful.

This company is a joke, customer service is a joke. Placed an order on b&q and pj gaved us lies. Every week I had to call to ask where is my order and every week I was lied. In the end I cancelled the order after 4 weeks of lies and delays!
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Got a call the day before that they would deliver a shower screen I had ordered from B&Q. At 6:45 am I heard a really loud knock on the door. Turns out it was the delivery driver. If you don’t want delivery ridiculous early in the morning, do not use!
Thoughtless Deliveries
No consideration given to other residents when delivering items. Vehicle completely obstructed my driveway, poor delivery.

We were ment to have toilet delivered today between 7.30 &1.00 o’clock the delivery driver only contacted us by leaving a voicemail saying he could not get down street due to ice on road ( cars and vans and other delivery wagons managed ok before call was made ) so plumber took old toilet out ready for delivery and turned water off now have no water or toilet due to there incompetence it has been taking back to a depot in Manchester and say it will be delivered 6 days time so we have no water or toilet till then , we have explained to them that we have 2 six month old babies in house and they have no emergency procedure to cover anything like this and are basically not bothered ( bearing in mind health and hygiene and feeding and bathing babies in this current situation covid)

Why would anybody employ a moronic woman like this one? They emailed me saying they are going to deliver my B&Q order "between 7 and 1" on the 12th of December. This is a delivery NOT to a house, but to a small shed in a field in a remote rural area 3 miles from home. No power, no lights, no street lights, no neighbours, no road names and no house numbers. It's going to be dark until 8am, and judging by the poor performance of previous delivery drivers at B&Q, they'd struggle to find it in broad daylight and won't bother to try. It's a Saturday, and I don't want to get up at 6am to go and stand at the roadside in the cold for 6 hours, partly in the dark, perhaps for nothing. So being a logical responsible customer, I rang up the previous day to make sure they understood the conditions, the time of dawn and the possible 'elf and safety implications of delivering in the pitch dark. The delivery window is reduced to 2 hours - between 7 and 9am. Well, less waiting around for sure, but it means there is now a hugely increased likelihood that it's going to happen in the dark. But you can't reason with the charmless call centre woman. Nope, she just doesn't care, and if you won't go along with it, you won't get your delivery - simple. The day was saved by Gemma, who inadvertently called me soon after. She wasn't aware of my earlier exchange (no notes on the file, presumably) and was a lot more helpful. She recorded telephone numbers the drivers could use to contact me half an hour before arriving, so I could stay in bed until they were on their way and direct them to the site and notes about site conditions. Full marks to Gemma. And well done to your drivers, who did a splendid job. They phoned as promised, arrived on time, were cheery and polite. Thanks chaps! Pity about your ghastly colleague, though, whose behaviour seems calculated to undo so much of the good done by you.
3 separate deliveries went very well
We've had 3 separate deliveries in the last month. Very impressed. Prior communication on telephone to pass on instructions because we live in an awkward location to get to, went really well each time. And on the days, the drivers were all very friendly.
My Prima built under oven stopped…
My Prima built under oven stopped working because the clock/timer was broken. It was covered under warranty but a fee had to be paid for fitting. An engineer attended but unfortunately hadnt got the right part and so one was ordered from the Czech Republic. This could not be sourced due to current conditions. A date could not be given for repair.
After some time I asked if it was possible to replace the oven. My initial fee was immediatley refunded, a newer updated oven was delivered within two days and one week later an engineer came and fitted it FREE OF CHARGE.
I have to dispose of the old one myself but all in all a great service from very friendly staff.
Delivery driver urinating on my drive
Delivery driver came to deliver some parcels at the adress and they urinating on the drive car parc I have pictures and videos with him I will post it all over the place this is disgusting

Never Use These Again!!
Ordered some drawers for my bedroom 7/11 from B&Q. It said this item would be delivered within 3 days. No update for 10 days, spoke to B&Q on twitter with no reply. They just then told me to ring PJH, who said it would be delivered tomorrow (didn't happen). Then spoke to B&Q who said they didn't; have info and passed me to PJH. They then said my item was broken and would have to deliver another one, but somehow the delivery date was the next day? As you can tell this didn't happen and since both B&Q and PJH are ignoring me or saying the other will let me know?
No delivery, no communication
Ordered an item from B&Q, booked a delivery date. Item didn't arrive so had to chase. Booked another delivery date, didn't arrive. Chased again, item arrived this morning in a box that had clearly been opened and resealed, barely held together with sellotape. The item was visibly damaged through the massive gaps in the packaging. I refused delivery and am urgently chasing a refund.
Disgraceful after sales service I have been waiting over 4 weeks…
I have been waiting just over 4 weeks for a part that was missing from my order. The persons on the end of the phone have been very helpful but the warehouse where the spare parts come from are completely ignoring the emails being sent, apparently my missing item has been ready for dispatch for nearly two weeks. The communication really needs to be sorted and whoever is responsible for replying to and dealing with the emails really needs sacking. This company is awful for after sales AVOID AVOID.
Why B&Q use these people is beyond me
Why B&Q use these people is beyond me. I phoned them and was kept hanging on for almost 20 minutes. The delivery was 9 days late ( I say late but nothing had arrived!) when I phoned. Even though I'd left email and phone numbers no one phoned. They aren't late taking the money, strange that isn't it?
Every thing which is wrong with British business.

Poor customer service
Ordered sliding wardrobe doors which were delivered on 7/11/20, joiner attended on 10/11/20 to install and when retrieving identified one door was damaged. Upon contact regarding this issue I was told that the goods would be replaced then following a telephone call this evening was then advised that the item could not be replaced as instillation had already taken place and the goods were inspected prior to delivery. I was not advised upon delivery to inspect the doors and secondly how could the inside aspect of the door (which was damaged) be inspected if the doors were packaged together? Disgusting customer service!
Shoddy after sales 'service'. Avoid!
I always think you only know how good a company is if you're unfortunate enough to have a problem afterwards. PJH are not interested other than to make you pay again for an item which they damaged at some point during the delivery process.
I ordered bathroom furniture from Plumbing World online which I later found out is supplied and delivered by PJH.
It was delivered on 16/08/2020 and I signed the delivery note to say I hadn't inspected the goods. The furniture was then left untouched in my garage until the fitters came today (10/11/2020).
The fitting had been delayed due to Covid 19 and upon unpacking the items we came across one that was damaged inside although the outer packaging was intact.
I called Plumbing World online to let them know and they called PJH to arrange a replacement item.
PHJ came back to us to say that because 30 days had passed since delivery I would have to buy a new unit (£190) and that they wouldn't be replacing it free of charge.
I've read so many positive stories of some great companies who have gone above and beyond for customers when dealing with returns/delays due to Covid. Sadly PJH are not one of those companies.
I will check in future when buying and if PJH are involved in any way I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Shoddy treatment of a customer who had spent several hundred's of pounds!
Absolutely appalling!
Absolutely appalling!! If I could give 0 stars I would!! I urge everyone not to order through B and Q if you need a large item delivered, as more than likely it won’t arrive!! I ordered a storage unit and storage cubes nearly 3 weeks ago, was contacted by pjh to say that the cubes were not in stock and they didn’t know when they would be back in stock, so I asked for the unit to be delivered and for the cubes to be refunded. After numerous phone calls this was eventually done. Rearranged delivery with pjh for a certain day which YOU choose online, which states you will receive a phone call on the day of delivery to confirm what time it will arrive. No phone call! Phoned b and q and then received another email from pjh claiming my delivery was rebooked for the following day, surprise surprise it never arrived, no phone call or communication at all! Phoned b and q to say I wanted a refund for the unit to be told they can’t refund me as my item is ‘already on the van’. 3 days later it had still not arrived and no communication. Finally after an angry phone call again to b and q ( which takes an average of half an hour in a queue each time!!), I have been told I will be refunded. I have been passed from pillar to post over the last 3 weeks between these two companies, it is an absolutely disgusting!!
