He was so helpful professional and genuinely so caring and intent on providing an excellent service and support from start to finish.
It was such a pleasurable experience with no stress or bother.
He went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly, he understood exactly what I wanted and patiently paid attention to details Rob was such a friendly young man and it was an absolute privilege and pleasure to have met him.
I am very pleased with my fitted sofa covers also all the helpful communication throughout.
This man is an absolute asset to plumbs so thank you Rob for providing such amazing customer support care and communication.

All staff we came into contact with, from initial home visit to delivery of completed suite refurbishment, extremely friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Very straightforward process and tailored to our specific requirements. Craftsmanship, care and quality all second to none. Thanks to all.

I was v ery pleased with the attention Mr. Ali to my requests on fabric and design, He was kind and helpful felt safe and comfortable during his visit. He listened to what I required and it was a pleasant purchase.On top of that the cutains came early, Steve th gentleman who came to fit them was also professional as was Mr Ali , I would use your company again. The man that came round was very helpful. The product is good quality It arrived when they said it would he did an excellent job of fitting it and I am delighter with my sofas I am old and would have liked some sort of receipt for my records Everything else was excellent

Excellent service throughout. Good communication, including printed material. Contactable by phone. Very professional personnel including initial advisor , person who measured for cover and the fitter. One criticism, I had not expected the back cover to be made up of two pieces of material. Although well matched it detracts and is difficult to understand why as the seat cover is all one piece.

It took a while for my first appointment- a good sign i always think but bear in mind if you are in a hurry. After my first appointment things moved quite quickly.
Very helpful agent. Paul made me feel relaxed and confident in his experience. He gave lots of time to the appointment and kept fetching extra books from the car. From the samples I had ordered, it happened I had picked a very expensive curtain fabric as my favorite. He spent time going through less expensive books that would give me a similar look. I.e he was not after pushing for an expensive sale but helpful in giving me options.
There was no pressure to order but I was so pleased with my choices, settees and curtains, that I went ahead.
I am so glad I did. It was expensive but craftmanship and the finished result looks and feels it.
I was kept informed of progress.
Some people might be put off by the pricing but I truly have not seen quality that compares.

I had really high hopes for Plumbs as a family member had recommended them to me, but I've not had a good experience with the company mostly around communication and on reflection, value for money. There was a lot of initial contact from Plumbs when I first contacted them about getting two pieces of my grandmother's furniture reupholstered. I got sent fliers and emails and had several contacts from the local consultant. The local consultant was nice and I felt happy to go with Plumbs. I had explained that it had taken me a while to choose a company to reupholster these pieces of furniture as they are important to me. The price for the two pieces was £800. I had apparently got a good deal as I'd chosen Prestige fabric. I've since learnt that Plumbs heavily overcharges in the first place so any reduction is not really a good deal. I was unaware of how much reupholstery cost as I hadn't done enough research into going direct to an upholsterer. What I hadn't understood is that Plumbs creates a lot of additional cost for nothing - having a consultant and then ordering fabric to an external upholsterer employed by them, creates huge time delays. It took weeks after I'd paid the substantial and non refundable deposit before I heard anything about my furniture. Once I'd parted with the deposit, I was met with silence. I thought I might have been scammed, and when I tried to follow up it still took days before I was contacted. I made a complaint about the delay and delay in a response only to be met with a defensive staff member. There was no empathy. After this eventually the reupholster made contact directly to check which fabric was for which piece as both were exactly the same size of 4m x4m even though one was for a large arm chair and the other a small footstool. The reupholster mentioned he hadn't been clearly informed which fabric was for which even though I had had to confirm this at least twice with two different Plumbs staff. The quality of the reupholstery is good but the prestige fabric is not great - it's already fluffing. I now know if I'd gone direct to a reupholsterer I would have had a wider choice of better quality fabric and paid half and the work would have been done in half the time. In going to Plumbs I have wasted time and substantial money. I sent a further complaint to Plumbs via their complaint process and never heard back. I am now enquiring about how to make a formal complaint. This company have not treated me respectfully and I feel a total loss of confidence in them due to how they communicate.

The salesman guided me through the process and helped with the choice of covers. They kept to their timetable and we were only without a suite for one week.

From the initial consultation with Karen to the delivery of new curtains (Karen) and the reupholstered chairs carried out by Tony from pickup to delivery the service throughout has been exemplary. The new curtains and chairs which match are of high quality. I am over the moon with it all.

All in all the service was very good and are pleased with the goods but what I didn’t like was having to pay the balance before receiving the goods and was advised by my bank not to pay anything until the goods had been delivered.

The lady who came to visit was absolutely superb. We were concerned about fabric to select due to our poodle sitting on the pouffe habit of digging before setting. She suggest a fabric which has worked out brilliantly poodle very happy. Cover fits perfectly looks really nice in the room. Fantastic price too.

We were pleased with the service received. The only complaint we had is that our covers are slightly big, we were informed when they were fitted that because they are cotton based it is to allow for shinkage when washed. We will see when they are washed and it would have been nice to have been informed on this earlier.

Staff were very professional and an all round good service, no hesitation in using Plums in future. Maxine provided excellent first class workmanship.

Our rather tired looking sofa has been transformed. The upholstery material is of a high quality and we love its colour and texture. Service has been excellent.
