Reviewing Tokyo Jeans Straight-Wide Leg in Raw Black. After my initial wash exactly as the care tag says: machine wash cold, inside out, with other black denim, air dried, the jeans came out covered in permanent white streaks where the dye rubbed off.

Support explained what happened and admitted the care label doesn't reflect how the fabric actually behaves. However, they declined to do anything about it. I asked for a replacement or what else they could offer, and asked to speak with someone. Their suggestion was to repurchase a new pair, despite it being unavailable and out of stock.

The jeans delivered: true to size, great silhouette, nice fabric. Beige was a bold choice on my part (easy to stain) but no real complaints.

The tees looked great initially but didn't last a year. The neckline started looking worn despite washing in a laundry net. More cotton in the blend would probably help the structure hold up longer.

Hey I am a denim reseller on Depop and I have a lot of experience with pants and denim. I heard of this brand from Instagram and immediately ordered a pair for my slim boyfriend. I got the wrong size completely because I didn’t pay much attention to the sizes but I sent it back and they gave me store credit. The style I wanted originally was Brooklyn dad jeans but when I got my refund they were out, so I ordered a pair of twisted Tokyo dad jeans and payed close attention to the size. These jeans raised the bar for any denim I’ve gotten since. The quality is great and production quality is great but the best part is the silhouette on these jeans. Just look at the Instagram page for yourself. There’s no jeans like them anywhere. They fit perfectly without any tailoring and they still have an elevated look without any odd design choices. He now owns 5 pairs and every pair fits perfectly since he payed close attention to the sizing guide. You have to remember it’s not like you’re buying from Levi’s or Nike, this is almost like a designer brand. They’re based in Los Angeles and can’t just afford to send everyone an instant gratification resize if it’s your fault that you didn’t fit in the size. And honestly, if you don’t like them and you got the right size, then it’s your fault for being slightly overweight or with odd proportions. It’s a Shopify storefront that’s starting up with insane jeans and if you’re fit and relatively slim these are perfect for you.

Perfect fit, good quality and amazing and fast Support. Only return policy und shipping cost aren’t great, especially if you don’t live in the US.

1) poolhouse is located in LA and they do not comply with California State Law which says that if you have a restrictive return policy it must be loud large and prominently stated-- this is not the case--and poolhouse only allows returns for credit or exchange-- if you didnt like the product quality to bad for you
2) the only ship ground slowly-- for returns and exchanges it takes a long time to receive merchandise -- 2 wees minimum
3) there Customerservice is useless-- i made a mistake on an exchange and their answer was--to BAD FOR YOU we cant adjust anything--- you will just have to ship to back again for another exchange and if the product it out to bad-- this means a minimum of a month to receive the correct product
4) they shipped me the completely wrong product i ordered Tokyo the shipped Shibuya
5) I tried the shibuya on and it was too small---i contacted customer service and said listen I want the tokyo what size should i order again total waste of time--the customer service knows nothing about the product-- and couldnt offer any information on sizing or cut--- just return it for life long credit
6) customer service is only by email no live human to speak to replies often take days--- and are useless anyway--
7) at this writing I am still waiting on my exchanges-- but the package a returned a week ago hadnt even made it there-- PLUS You have to pay for the return $10 by US Postal service.
8) the whole experience is 6 weeks in the making and still dont have my exchanges..
9) the stuff received looked okay-- but had i known customer service was t his bad and the return policy been posted like CALIFORNIA LAW requires i would have never ordered

I love this brand. I know it has a price tag but it’s still my favorite Jean brand. I have like 8 pairs of their pants. And their shirts are such good quality. If they made underwear I’d buy that too. The shipping isn’t too long and genuinely I get so many compliments on the fits I wear with these pants. They’re just so nice and baggy without a ghetto look, they keep a great silhouette and make any regular t shirt a fire fit. Make sure you look at ther size guide and keep I mind you have to get the perfect size, don’t settle for it if it doesn’t fit you perfect. Also this is a good brand if you’re slim, just to keep in mind.

I beg off you. Please do not order from these guys, especially if you live outside the US. I ordered their Pasadena and Koenji Dad Jeans because I thought the fit looked immaculate. For the Koenji Dad jeans, it was recommended that you size down because the item runs large; however, I stuck to my size because I wanted a more relaxed fit. The model they used in the pictures to advertise is 6'1 and he wears a size 31. I am 6'3, and a size 34 doesn't reach my ankle. I reached out and received nothing but silence for almost a week. I only just read the return policy, and it's 10 days after it is delivered. Plus final sale for folks outside the US. Essentially, I am screwed. Almost 500 CAD down the drain, and I am stuck with 2 defective pairs of Jeans

Completely incorrect sizing. I ordered a large and it fit like a small. I'm the same size as the model. The return policy is absurd because they know they have bad sizing.

Scammers - do not offer refunds for no apparent reason and try to sell the same clothing twice.

I bought two Los Feliz crop tshirts and one pair of LaFayette Flare Studio pants. The website's recommended pants size for me is too tight in the waist for my preference, but whatever. The Los Feliz crop tshirt (white) stained blue when washed. I own a lot of white tees and this has not happened to any of them before and it did not happen to the other white tees that were washed in the same load as this Pool House tee. I emailed Pool House customer support to ask for an exchange and was told no. Also, the tee's have a sewn in tag on the back of the neck that is big and itchy. I expected better quality given the price point and look of the website.

Order was received in great time, shipping was smooth. Ordered to Sweden. The quality of the pants is class, and furthermore exactly as advertised. Emails were sent with updates. Super pleased, would order again.
