Excellent service in Brighton and a fabulous choice of frames. The price was so reasonable and they were well fitted. I am getting so many lovely comments - I have a feeling that shopping for these fabulous examples of fave furniture is going to become a really enjoyable habit!

Having my only pair of glasses fall out of my pocket, in a taxi, late evening on Christmas day was a panic even though I wear contact lenses as well. A friend sent me a link to pop specs for quick 20min replacements here in Brighton. I couldn't have been happier. The team of two women were outstanding in every way. Friendly, cheerful, professional and helpful. I chose two pairs of single vision glasses. They were ready in 40mins (20mins x2). The fit was great and the lenses fitting perfectly in the frames at keen prices, especially considering the speed. I have already told several friends I know were looking for their new pairs of glasses. Highly recommend. Thanks to all the team at pop specs.

I wanted to advise you of my experience with buying your glasses
Firstly your staff were lovely and this is no reflection on any of them.
Both myself and my husband brought a pair each of your vaifocal glasses
There was an advertisement saying two pairs from£300, however we were advised that this was not the case with different prescriptions (not advertised like that so false advertising) because we had already been through the long process of choosing and measurements etc we were to be honest exhausted and were advised we would have to pay separately to place our orders, therefore £195 each.

This to be honest really upset me as the glasses were far more expensive than my last pair brought.

Once we received, after made incorrectly the first time, I have been wearing for a few weeks. I feel the quality of the lenses are very similar to my reading glasses costing £16, they are easily smuggled and hard to clean, like reading glasses. Also the lease does not fit snug in frame as I can push the frame on top and bottom and feel movement as I can squeeze gently.

I appreciate that you are a new business and I like supporting the smaller businesses rather than the large chains.

However, I am disappointed with my purchase and the advertisement than did not mention anywhere the variation in price.

Went today to get another pair from you guys because I have already 2 more and the lady in the morning from Arendale stand told me she can’t do my prescription because she doesn’t have what she needs so as far as I understand the whole idea is that I’m 20 min you can have your glasses and I was disappointed that she told me to get the frames and come next day to get them. I can’t come next day because I will leave the country that is why I left it for the last minute because is 20 minutes to do your prescription.I think she didn’t know how to make them to be honest. On the other hand the stand I got the other 2 pairs was Trafford and the blond lady I think she is the Manager there she was amazing.
Better trained stuff will be great!

Nipped in to have a look. Wanted to step out of my usual boring specs. Walked away with 3 new pairs. Conner and the lady that was there towards the end are a credit to the business. Professional and yet easy to chat too, I had such a laugh trying on pairs and generally felt that he cared about what I tried on and how I looked.
Would highly recommend. Super quick 1 hour later I’ve walked away with 2 out there pairs and one more my usual boring black.

Great specs, great price and friendly staff. Went to the Pop Specs Silverburn Glasgow, bought glasses for me and my wife. My wife was hugely impressed as she has a stigma and the focal piint is hard to get right but they got it spot on

If I’d written a review immediately after I bought my specs it would have been 5*. Great experience at Chester indoor market. Love my specs. Bought them on an overnight visit to Chester. Funky, unusual, great quality. Ready in 20 mins and I discovered I’d made a mistake with one lens prescription which was rectified immediately at no extra charge. Brilliant! Couldn’t fault them.
However, only about a month later one side arm fell off. The screw had fallen out. I went on to the Pop Specs website to ask if they could help - submitted an online form and heard nothing back. No other contact details shown and no shops/stalls close enough to where I live to call in.
I hate to say it but Specsavers repaired the frame for me free of charge.
Great concept, great specs apart from the temporary glitch, but poor customer service.

Great design selection but not impressed with the quality in itself. Bought a frame in Westfield Stratford and customer service was good. I did chose not to have my prescription on them ( and looking at the reviews now I am glad I didn’t). The ‘Plasticky’ feel of the frame is off for me and it does look like they won’t last long. So not impressed with the value for money of it. Shame all the design are really nice

I visited Pop Specs at Westfield Stratford recently and the service was excellent. Being a bit picky,Christina was very helpful and friendly. She showed a variety of styles and help me pick out a style that suited me.

I was in a panic early morning when I found out that my glasses was broken. I went to Sheperds Bush branch to ask for advice and help. I met Jack, he calm me down and re assured that everything will be fined. He is sincere and honest that I leave my trust on him. James is supportive too, the team is excellent. Fully recommendable with their professionalism, reliability and commitment.

I was going to Manchester for a few days to catch up with family there, I was doing some research on shops in Manchester and came across Pop Specs and knew I had to pay them a visit when I arrived. I went to their booth in the Arndale Centre and was not disappointed with the gorgeous array of frames they had. I had intended to get one pair but they were so gorgeous I got three pairs as I cannot get anything as beautiful in Ireland (I hope Pop Specs come to Ireland soon), Dan, Laura & Inigo were so helpful, knowledgeable and absolutely brilliant fun, they were also incredibly patient as I think I tried on every frame in the store. I love my new glasses and will definitely be back for more. My sister who was with me also got two pairs of fabulous varifocals. I would highly recommending Pop Specs, beautiful funky frames, amazing staff and great value for money.

I really wanted to love these but I just don’t think the quality and service is good enough for what you pay for.

The initial service was good, I picked some frames that I really loved, went back and picked them up about half an hour later which was really quick. However, when I got home and started wearing the glasses I ended up with a headache after an hour of wearing them (this wasn’t a new prescription as I know it can take time to adjust to a new one). I persevered for a couple of weeks but still kept getting the headache so rang to ask if I could get the glasses checked and was told that was fine.

When I went back and explained the problem the person serving was really abrupt and said it could be due to the frames I had picked and that if they did any changes and it still wasn’t right I wouldn’t get a refund and would have to pay to get any other changes done. I really love the frames so asked if they could be checked and it did turn out that they had put the PD in the incorrect place. They said they could correct this but also said that they would have to put in thicker lenses as this could also be causing the headache (I’m not sure why as my old glasses have the thinner lenses and cause no issues). I had to wait around a week for the changes to be made due to the availability of the lenses.

I collected the new glasses and whilst it is an improvement I still do get a headache if I’m wearing them all day. So all in all I’ve paid over £100 for glasses that I can’t wear all day, that I paid to have thinner lenses in and haven’t got thinner lenses and that I had to make several trips for.

I haven’t been back as I don’t want to pay any more towards these after being told I’d have to pay for any more changes. All in all I’d say save your money and time and go to Boots, M&S or Specsavers where they take a bit more time to make sure everything is right!

I’ve given two stars as the lady that was working on the day I went to pick up the amended glasses was great. I wish the other person who I’d had to see to get the changes made had been a bit more pleasant like her!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Cardiff branch. The three ladies there were so helpful and enthusiastic. It was actually fun! 20 mins later my glasses were ready (and they’re really comfy). Will definitely be back when I fancy a change.

Excellent advice from the Brixton Store - especially as without my glasses on I can't see how new glasses look! They have a special mirror to help. Loving my new specs, delivered to me in Somerset and perfect varifocals with no fuss.

Buying our glasses was a very enjoyable experience but after service is amazing. Needed replacement frame so posted off the original frames on Thursday. Today is Saturday and the replacement has arrived.

Got my pop specs yesterday from Grant in the Metro Centre. Fabulous experience and Grant was super helpful, friendly and efficient. Great selection of frames and ready within 20 mins… wow!

Discovered Pop Specs in Livingston by sheer chance and so happy I did. From start to finish first class service. Staff super friendly and helpful and I adore the frames. Picked my varifocals up today and so delighted with them I've ordered sunglasses. Keep doing what you're doing guys - you're amazing x

Went to Pop Specs at the Metrocentre on Saturday 19th October their 1st opening day! Bought 2 pairs of glasses. Would highly recommend. Excellent choice. Grant and Chris and brilliant and nothing is a bother. Will be definitely being going back in the future :-)

Bought a great oversize pair of glasses for my massive head. £75 all in including prescription lenses. I have been quoted £350 upwards for similar pairs. Staff were great fun and super helpful. I love my new glasses and if you fancy treating yourself to some new funky glasses take your prescription along when you go.
