It was very easy to order and was here within a couple days.

From the time I placed my order, till I received them in the mail was about a week. I bought 4 of them. I gave one to each of my boys and 1 to my granddaughter. Hopefully they never have to use them. But I feel a lot better knowing they have them.

Ordering was easy, delivery was smooth
Fortunately, none of us had to use it yet!!

I gave these as Christmas presents to family and friends
they were very thankful for this wise gift!!

Great product but I was also a victim of the monthly charges for something I did not request. Based on the number of others this happened to I am contemplating filing a complaint with the FTC.

A replacement hero blanket was sent out after noticing that my blanket was damaged. They were quick to respond and very pleasant to work with.

My friend shared a link to purchase your fire blankets. I bought four. I added one to both of my kids’ Cmas gifts. I kept two. I put one in a kitchen drawer next to my stove top and told my husband to put one by the outdoor grill. He chuckled and said “you know the stovetop is electric, right?”

Two nights ago my husband had to stay overnight at the hospital after having knee surgery. I had taken and drained a portable phone charger. When I got home, I plugged it in to recharge as usual.

After talking to my daughter and getting ready for bed, my two miniature yorkies and I were just relaxing after a very long day. Then I heard a loud noise. I ran toward the kitchen and the charger was exploding. I threw the basket it was in on the tile floor and remembered the fire blanket. I opened it quickly and threw it on top of the items still flaming.

By this time, there was smoke and our alarms were going off. I was calling 911.

I grabbed my dogs to go outside. Firefighters soon arrived. They were impressed that the fire blanket had contained the fire to a small area.

I’m thankful we are safe and my house is still standing. And I’m thankful I had that fire blanket.

And of course, I’m giving my husband a hard time.

I’ll need to get more and I think that might be my gift to others in the future.

I ordered a few of these as gifts for my kids for Christmas. They arrived and everything seemed fine until I started noticing I'm being charged for some subscription. I started getting emails about finishing my fire training modules?? However, when I ordered the blankets no where did it mention that I would be signing up for a subscription let alone fire training modules to be completed. There is no mention of it anywhere on their advertising or purchasing page about a subscription or this training. I logged into the account which shows no credit card on file or subscription showing but my card that I used to purchase the blankets is being charged $32.16 monthly. There is no subscription or credit card info so I can cancel the payments being withdrawn. I'm having to write to the company to ask what is up with this. I see there is another review earlier this month that is having the same issue.I agree BE WARNED!

They did resolve the issue. They said o had a subscription and nowhere could I find in their information did I find a subscription. I had made a screenshot of the order.

Although I couldn't put the blanket anywhere in the kitchen they offered me a solution that I will accept.

Once I got over sticker shock I thought about how much I would save by simply not having to re-buy single rechargeable fire extinguishers. Decided rather than replace two of my single use now no pressure fire extinguishers I would invest in 4 fire blankets. We have two kitchens in the home. One smaller kitchen area which I use and one full size kitchen at the other end of the house where my step sister and my son and his GF use. My son was very excited to see I had gotten the blankets as he has used them at work and found them very safe, easy, convenient, and light weight enough for me to toss over things even though I am in a wheelchair. One blanket hangs on a wall near the stove in the laundry utility room wall, but not so one has to reach in or over the stove area to reach it. Next we hung the next blanket near the light switch just as one enters their kitchen. This way it is easy to reach from not only those entering their kitchen but to grab and use in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. The next location was near the nook where my kitchen is set up on the actual nook. The final fire blanket is near the coffee bar area. Now unlike the fire extinguisher canisters being put up away from the Hussle and bustle of food prep that people who are not in wheelchairs can reach I can reach each of these blankets easily. I also can cover my legs with one blanket as I go towards the fire possibly use another to cover the fire. Oh the price of 4 blankets was less than the refilling of two fire extinguisher containers. So I refilled two fire extinguishers and purchased 4 Prepared Heroes. It feels safer now at least for me as I can easily grab the Prepared Hero fire blanket and not worry about finding a way to knock a fire extinguisher off the high shelf. My son and step sister are advocating for more Prepared Hero for the back porch near the grill, propane heater, flat top as well as adding several prepared heroes in the garage.

My experience with Prepared hero was great! The process from ordering to receiving the fire blankets was very easy! I purchased 8 blankets. I gave a couple to my daughter and my mother. Luckily, I have not had to use them and I have to say, this is the first thing I have purchased that I hope I never have to use! It gives me peace of mind that I am armed with a defense just in case!

The product arrived quickly and everything looks good on that end. However, no where does it mention that I would be signing up for a subscription that I cannot cancel. There is no mention of it anywhere on their advertising or purchasing page, and logging into the account there is no mention of a subscription that I can cancel. I'm having to write to the company to ask what is up with this. Be warned.

BE WARNED when you order their product, you are automatically enrolled in a sham VIP program. Your inbox will get peppered with emails AND you will be charged a monthly fee of $32 until you take the time to track them down and cancel. I'm someone who looks at the fine print and there was none here. The fire blanket itself arrived on time and is in seemingly good condition (thankfully we haven't needed to use it yet).

I bought 4-5 of these for Christmas gifts as well as one for myself. It seemed a bit of an odd gift, but practical. Recipients were extremely pleased.

Blankets are sitting in their neat package hoping never to be used. But ready if needed. Website nicely arranged. Ordering was an easy process. Delivery was in good time, shipped to Canada. Would recommend this product.
