Company are huge scammers
Company are huge scammers. A police report has been made and will be sending them to small claims court. We spoke to a man called Syed who lacked a lot of empathy and thought it was funny during phone calls.
To start off, the Airbnb we booked had been booked with owner of the home in June 2026; and had completely no issue whatsoever.
We booked again in August 2026, we had informed him that we are doing a small get together and provided him with the number of people. To which he agreed, we are not 18 year olds, to trash someone’s home we are over 30. He had then said 8 people can sleep over, but additional 14 guests will £20 to which we agreed. The price of the house to stay in was £316.
After entering the home, he had said we will need to pay £200 a security deposit. After doing so, all guests within the house were sitting in the living room having an internists games night with drinks and food all seated. No music was played just talks and laughs. He had then said that there is a lot of noise and if does not reduce he will have to send security to check the property. There was absolutely no noise at all. Whilst the £200 was sent he had sent two warnings to which we were confused.
We told him to arrive at the property since he has so many concerns. He told us to reduce the numbers of people down to 10 but the 2 extra will be £20, however before he said each guests is £20 regardless of the quantity.
He had arrived at the property and saw that there were no noise. 5 minutes later proceeded to say he would have to tell everyone to leave the property.
This was a birthday get together which was completely ruined.
We had minimal time to pack our things, to which we had left some our things and birthday cake in the Airbnb.
As we left we realised we had left this behind, and contacted him 20 minutes after to which he did not respond to till the afternoon the next day. He told us to come back at 5:30 to collect our things. We informed we live far from the place so if he could tell us an appropriate time to come as it will take over an hour to come back to the airbnb. He told us to arrive for 6 which we arrived and later proceeded to tell us there is no one around to give us our belongings. He then proceeded to call us and ask for ID for secruity purposes. We did not feel comfortable with this and said what would he need our ID for. He changed the subject and could not provide a valid answer as to why he needed our ID. He then told us that we should come back for 10pm already this was distressing as we had come from far. He had also told us to pay for additional £50 to collect our belongings in the property.
We went to get food and waited and then proceeded to tell us to come for 11pm instead. Upon waiting hours and had our whole day wasted for just our belongings he then lied and said there are people staying in the property. There was no one in the property. He was waiting in his car at a front drive next door which I think he lives in, and handed our cake from his car. We believe he took the cake to his home.
Overall, this man thinks it’s ok to scam women and a police report has been made. Throughout the whole process he was patronising and laughed and thought it was quite funny to keep extorting us for money. Please do your research before booking an Airbnb using this company. This was definitely racially motivated.
I’m sure he won’t care that we will never book his services again. He did us no favours because we did not end up staying in the Airbnb. We lost £516 of our hard earned money and it’s not nice that you’ve treated people like this. Good luck with your business.
A police report has been as well as progression to small claims court.
