I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing any vehicle from Pro Autocars LTD, especially the Ford Kuga ST-Line CK70TUP.

The Ford Kuga ST-Line with the registration CK70 TUP was sold in a faulty condition and was clearly unfit for purpose. Serious issues became apparent after purchase, raising major concerns about the quality checks and honesty of the sale. A vehicle should be safe, reliable, and roadworthy when sold — this one was not.

My experience has been extremely disappointing and of great concern regarding honesty and integrity, I would urge anyone considering buying from this dealer to proceed with extreme caution.

Avoid this car and, in my opinion, avoid this dealership altogether.

Fab little garage

Fab little garage. So friendly.
Fab little garage. Really friendly and knowledgeable. I bought my Kia Niro from them in November. The car is perfect for my needs and the test drive went well so we sat and did the purchase there and then. They are a small garage behind the Texaco garage in Hook. We had driven a couple of hours to get there and needed a toilet. There isn't a toilet on site but they recommended the Shell garage toilets which were clean and just across the road.I am happy to pop in on my own and as a "lady of a certain age" this is a huge recommendation from me. Luckily it's en route to my daughter's so I can pop in on my way passed. I have just a couple of tiny things I wanted them to check out for me and they have been great. So all in all 10/10. The car is perfect. They are friendly and accommodating. Great value as well. In fact my husband has asked them to keep an eye out for the car he is looking for! So we are hoping to deal with them again soon.

I would highly recommend this dealership for exceptional customer service. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and trustworthy. They made me and my family feel very welcome.

Top-Notch Service and a Perfect MINI

I recently bought a MINI from Pro auto cars, and I honestly feel the experience was better than what I’ve had at main dealers. From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right car rather than just making a sale.
I drove away feeling 100% confident in my purchase. If you’re looking for a place that treats you like a valued customer and not just another number, I’d highly recommend them.

Buyer beware of Handler Warranty....

I brought a Vauxhall Zafira (32,000miles) 2019 in Feb 25 with a Handler Warranty. Within the 3 months period I have spent over £4000 having faults corrected. Beware of purchasing a vehicle outside your immediate area. Pro Auto Car offered to do the repairs they considered necessary but owing to the distance involved this was domestically not possible. The problems were a faulty exhaust which led to oxygen sensors needing replacement and a new catalytic converter. There were problems also with oil pressure sensor wiring which had at sometime been rewired incorrectly and a couple of oil leaks. Handler refused to cover any of this. ProAutoCars gave an ex gratia payment of approx £300. The staff at ProAutoCars were helpful regarding the purchase but it has been an eyeopener as to the risks of purchasing a vehicle at a distance and the uselessness of a Handler Warranty.

I recently bought a Honda Civic from ProAutocars. From start to finish the whole experience was smooth. Customer service was top-notch. The team has a good understanding about motors and genuinely helped me to find the right fit for me according to my needs. The car was intact as advertised and had more than a quarter of fuel upon collection. I would highly recommend ProAutocars to anyone who is in search of good quality and reliable cars.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the crooks that are Pro Auto Cars last year was very happy to start with service was great and they sorted out a test drive and all the paper work with finance broker promptly.

This was all a front as within a month of owning the car I was having issues of overheating, I took the car back to the garage who informed me there was a blocked radiator hose and they had fixed the issue and when they test drove the car the coil pack also broke which again they claimed to have fixed. Within weeks I had to take the car back to the garage again as I had noticed white milky residue on the inside of the oil filler cap, after their supposed mechanics looked at the car they told me it was simply the filler caps seal which was letting moisture in which at the time I was sceptical about as it was summer and hadn’t rained (they also told me in person that they had just taken a cap off of another Vauxhall on their forecourt!) but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took the car back but within a week I had noticed the white again on the oil filler cap and after taking it back there AGAIN for the 3rd time they told me it was the sump tray seal which again they apparently fixed but within another couple of weeks there was milky residue on the oil filler cap. Each time the had the car back for repairs their after sales manager and mechanic was meant to be in touch with me and keeping me updated with the repairs but each time I had to constantly call up myself as I would hear nothing and they would have the car for nearly 2 weeks at a time they informed me I couldn’t have a courtesy car as they didn’t have the right insurance which is fair enough I did inform them I was self employed and relied on the car to get me to and from work otherwise I’d be out of pocket and had a pregnant parter and 4 year old child to feed as well as keeping a roof over our heads, they didn’t care.

I could tell by this point it was something big so I informed my finance company who said I should get a diagnostics done by another garage out of my own pocket which I did and it turned out it was in fact the head gasket which had blown. I informed my car finance company and the broker who raised a complaint with the garage and told them it needed to be fixed and they apparently fixed it. This was the end of October and the car seemed fine.

After Christmas on my first day back to work I got in the car and by the time I got to the end of my 3 metre driveway the engine light came on by this time I had bought my own diagnostics as I had so many issues with the car but by the time I got in my house and got it the car was completely dead and would not turn over and no electrics would work to even plug the reader in. By then I was completely fed up with the car and the garage as I had got in touch with at least 2 members of staff who just ignored my message saying it was broken again so I informed my finance company that I wanted to reject the vehicle and they told me I needed to get it to a garage and get another diagnostics done out of my own pocket again. As the car was completely dead I had to get the AA to get me going and they had to ZIP TIE the wiring loom onto the engine as it was completely broken, after that a message came on the dash saying the coil pack was broken again (shock) and after getting it to the garage for the diagnostics to be done half a page of fault codes came up.

The finance company took the car back and organised an independent inspection company to look at the car and confirm the faults with the car, in this report they said there was `unconventional repairs made’ and that the head gasket was leaking and not in a drivable state! Again shock!

My finance company phoned me up and informed me that the garage did not agree with the inspection done and were going to take me to COURT. Luckily after another couple of weeks they told me the car had been sold and they had no comeback at all.

The warning signs were there please do not use this garage have a close look at the reviews left on Google and auto trader they are very suspicious and seem to be AI generated which is very illegal under the consumer protection from unfair trading regulations 2008.

Dreadful disgusting company DO NOT USE

Very friendly but don't be fooled.

The guys at ProAuto Cars are very friendly, but this is just a mask. I recently bought a car from them and initially I was very happy with the service, although they sold it with no fuel in it. This was until I got the car home and inspected it. At first I needed some new parts as they were not working which the aftercare manager, although slow at getting back to me, fitted and fixed. Then, as they had done a 'service' on the car before I picked it up I decided to check the filters, oil etc. It is a diesel car and the oil was black as coal with chunks in it. The oil filter stunk of burning and was also dark black. Both filters (cabin & underbonnet) had never been changed in the cars whole lifetime so were very dirty. The underside when taken to my mechanic to look over is rusty. I then had another problem with the car but the after sales manager says that 'it wasn't covered' after saying it was, but were willing to do the work if I paid them. Because of all the above, I did not trust them to get it done to a good standard so paid my mechanic to do it, so I could have peace of mind and I knew it would be quality. I am appalled. Would not recommend.
