Stuart Hensley arrived promptly, fixed the problem on gas hob quickly and efficiently. All done for £85 (another company were charging £130 + parts for exactly the same job.). Would definitely use Prompt and Precise again.

Stuart arrived on time on a Saturday morning and replaced the element in my fan oven. He also fixed back the thermostat that had worked loose and thoroughly checked all the electrics as my cooker is fairly old and I thought it was possibly past repairing. I was very pleased with the speed and cleanliness of his work and also his politeness, friendliness and reassuring advice. He charged a fixed rate for the job so there were no hidden extras. I certainly recommend him and would use him again without a doubt.

I chose this company based on previous reviews and clear itemisation of their competitive rates, shown on their website.There was no up front charge before the initial visit, as with some firms. Stuart was punctual, polite and efficient. Having stripped down my washing machine, he diagnosed a faulty pcb. He ordered a new one, having asked if I was happy to go ahead with the repair. He made a 2nd visit to fit the new part. His two visits and labour were covered by the initial call out charge.This is a small local company offering great service. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!!

Stewart came out to fix the drain cap problem on my Bosch washing machine. Even though he had to take off the back and front, he was really quick and got out the blockage, put everything back together, and tested the machine…..and this was on a Bank Holiday!! 10/10

I contacted prompt and precise and they were super helpful on the phone to try and help me fix a problem with my dishwasher over the phone. When I was unable to fix it, Stuart came out within 24hrs and diagnosed the fault. Unfortunately a new dishwasher was needed and he returned a further 24hrs later to fit the new dishwasher at no additional cost.
Excellent service from start to finish. I wish more companies were like this.

Quick, efficient and very pleasant.

Our oven was tripping out the electrics in our house and not functioning at all. An attempt at repair was undertaken by another company who misdiagnosed the problem and failed to return with the spare parts. Promptandprecise took over the case and Stuart contacted us to arrange a visit. He correctly diagnosed the fault first time and had the spares at hand. Stuart talked me through each step of the process and both explained and showed me the test results. I cannot talk highly enough of this company especially of Stuart. Polite, tidy and professional and exactly what the company names states "promptandprecise"

I got in touch with promt and precise when the door seal deteriorated on my washing. After chatting with Stuart about the best way to go forward, I decided to do the job myself. He was very friendly and helpful in offering advice and tips on how to do the job and for this I couldn't recommend him enough. Definitely my go to appliance repair man for any future jobs. We have used Prompt and Precise repairs in Reading twice now in the last few months and they have been excellent! I highly recommend this service. Stuart fixed our dishwasher previously and our oven today - he is very professional, friendly and efficient and got us booked in very promptly (either same day or within 2 working days).

Stuart was brilliant from the first phone call. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He fitted a new integrated dishwasher for us. Arrived on time, fitted and then fully tested it, gave us loads of very welcome advice and charges a reasonable price. I would certainly recommend and use in the future.

Stuart was clearly knowledgeable and able to highlight a few things we were doing that could improve the life of the dishwasher before identifying the real issue. Service was prompt, friendly and a really good experience.

Stuart went about his business diagnosing fault in 10 year old AEG Induction Cooker Hob, costing out replacement parts, in a thoughtful efficient manner.
His friendly demeanour, offset the bad news that fixing the problem was not cost effective.
Stuart gave very helpful advice on buying a replacement cooker, and assured me that he would do the installation with no further charge.
I felt comfortable enough to ring him for his verdict on the brands of cooker that I was looking at on-line, and he has just completed the installation, and stayed a while to test it out.
