In 2004, QuickContractors.com Inc. was founded with the intent of cleaning up and organizing the contracting industry. As a result of the high demands for skill-based services, there are too many businesses that are jumping on the contracting bandwagon looking to make a quick dollar. These so-called “fly-by-night” contractors are ruining the reputation of many established contractors and service providers as they lower consumer confidence. ...

They refused to repair the floor scratch after the appliance installation. I totally do not recommend their service
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience, from the technician visit to customer service.
I had a range hood installed a few months ago and was told that the venting system needed to be replaced, so I paid extra for the recommended work because I trusted them. A months later, I noticed a problem with the installation. When the technician returned, I was reassured that everything was fine. However, I later discovered that air was coming out through the vent, and the third visit they said venting system did not installed correctly.
I contacted customer service several times. I was told the issue would be escalated, but my case was closed instead. On another call, I was promised a same-day callback that never came. When I called a third time, I was told they had no record of my previous call.
I have video evidence showing the airflow through the vent, as well as a translated transcript of a conversation between the technicians that raises further concerns about whether the problem was known but not disclosed.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the installation quality and the way my complaint was handled. I paid for a service I expected to be completed properly and have not received a satisfactory resolution. And I have not yet received any kind of resolution.
Perfect for a gas stove installation!
Quickcontractors came to install the gas line of our new stove from Home Depot. They gave us a 2 hour window the day before arrival, then a half-hour warning before they'd arrive. They had shoe covers on and used carpet pieces under the stove feet to not scratch the floor. They were done in about 10 minutes and worked like a well oiled machine.
Totally unreliable company
I wish I could give zero stars! I booked a dishwasher installation & recycling service with Quickcontractors through Best Buy which is where I originally purchased the appliance. Best Buy sent the request for the installation and recycling and confirmed both services; however for some reason Quickcontractors only received the installation request. On the day of the installation, the technicians did not come in the promised time slot. They came 4 hours later and I had to change my plans for the day. Their Customer Service rep hung up when I was trying to explain the initial request and reschedule the recycling service. I was appalled by her rudeness! She didn't care about my call and did not even try to solve the issue. In the end I had to pay over $250 extra to book a separate company for the recycling service.
NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY! BEST BUY SHOULD END THEIR CONTRACT WITH THEM!
I purchased a gas stove and paid for…
I purchased a gas stove and paid for stove installation as well. After I got a installation arrangement from Quickcontractors. Before the scheduled day, the technician called me. So the next day I just crossed the finger and spent the time to wait for the technician. When the technician came, he told me I should still pay a fitting charge because there is a adapter that I need to pay. I didn't quite understand, however still let the technician finished the installation. After the installation, the technicial told me I haven't paid the fitting charge, so I said I can pay instantly, then he said he will let his company to call me and I agreed. Over phone, I was told I should pay $42.37 for the fitting part and work, and I paid. At the end of the day, I checked my email, and found that Quickcontractor actually sent me an email while the contractor was on the way to my home. The email was an invoice asking for $28.25 for fitting part and work, and was cancelled later because I paid $42.37. I was shocked. Just because I didn't see the email earlier the company raised the charge and cancelled the original ask. I never saw a company doing business in this way. I do believe the person who was calling me to process the payment knew that invoice and knew that I need to pay $28.25. That lady didn't tell me that they've sent me the email notice already but asked me to pay $42.37 instead, I just cannot believe it. I tried to call Quickcontractor but nobody answers my call, cannot reach anybody.
Worse service ever - Large companies, please stop working with them
They are the worse company ever. Quickcontractors is an intermediary between contractors and clients. The problem is not the contractors themselves (although some are terrible, some are also really good), the problem is that the company doesn't care about neither the users nor their contractors.
1. They don't review the quality of their contractors, so if some are terrible, nothing happens and they keep them in their roster and might send those terrible contractors to your house
2. They force you to be available during 5h periods during which the contractor could come at any time. Several contractors are reasonable people that if you could contact, they would give you a proper appointment, but Quickcontractors won't communicate to you who your contractor is nor your availability. If you try to communicate periods of unavailability during that full 5h, they will tell you they can't do that.
3. Their communication is actually awful. They don't communicate to contractors all the information, they often misunderstand what you tell them, they don't care for customers and sometimes contractors don't even know about that 5h assigned period so they arrive late or not at all.
Imagine taking a day off from work or cancelling all meetings or plans to be at home waiting for them for 5h (during which you can't leave your home because they could arrive any minute), for them not to show up or to show up late. That's not just anecdotal, it happens constantly.
4. If you complain about it and ask if they truly believe these processes are reasonable, then they tell you that yes, it's normal and reasonable to them to be entitled to your infinite time and availability. They won't do anything about it.
5. Say you had an accident, like for instance, a water leak due to an installation issue. Well, they say they take care of it and will send someone quickly. No, they don't. You'll have to re-send them pictures 2 or 3 times in the same email chain because they are disorganized and don't keep track of cases. Then eventually, 2 months later, they might actually send someone.
Save yourself time and don't work with them. Also, to any large surface companies like Best Buy, Home Depot, etc. working with them: You are ruining your good reputation working with them. It's not your fault, it's theirs, but you end up paying with your business for Quickcontractors' disastrous service. I'll personnally never buy from a store that deals with Quickcontractor ever again.
Traumatic Experience!
My washer, dryer, and pedestals were purchased at Leon’s in Fredericton, NB, and the installation was arranged through them.
The technician who arrived was completely unprofessional. The body odour was so overwhelming it lingered in my house for over an hour after he left. He was also sniffling the entire visit despite appearing to have a cold. I’m travelling to another province to meet my newborn nephew, and exposing customers to illness is unacceptable.
During the installation he:
* Tore off the permanent foam spacer between the washer and pedestal, believing it should be removed.
* Had me help tip the washer back, despite the drum not being secured with the shipping bolts.
* Removed the washer’s factory levelling legs and installed them on the pedestal instead of using the supplied pedestal levelling legs.
* Told me the dryer and washer levelling legs had different threads when I asked that both units use matching legs for an even height.
* Left unused pedestal levelling legs taped inside the dryer pedestal drawer.
He seemed more concerned with taking photos and getting my signature than ensuring the installation was done correctly. I later found leftover parts and multiple unused screws.
After several conversations with the company, they sent two different technicians the following Sunday. They completely removed and reinstalled both pedestals and properly levelled everything.
When I asked about compensation for the damaged pedestal, time off work, cancelled plans, travel to a laundromat, and loss of use, I was told their claims process only covers direct physical damage and not inconvenience, lost time, travel expenses, or loss of use.
To make matters worse, they didn’t even refund the installation fee, despite being told during the rebooking process that I would at least receive that.
I cannot recommend this installation service. If you need appliances installed, you’re better off hiring your own qualified contractor.
Worst installation experience ever
Worst installation experience ever. This company was contracted out by Home Depot to install a newly purchased toilet in my home. The installation by Quick Contractors was done incorrectly, resulting in a leak from the tank to my bathroom floor. Despite MULTIPLE attempts by Home Depot and myself to have Quick Contractors return to fix the botched installation, there was no response. It's been days since the installation, and still no response!! NO accountability or resolution response from this company. They do a poor job, and then you never hear from them again. My firm advice is to stay FAR away from these guys, and go with any other installation company but this one. You will only have major headaches and regrets with Quick Contractors.
Needed gas connection from old to new…
Needed gas connection from old to new dryer. The sales clerk (Melissa) failed to make the appt for a gas Tech. She did not do her job! We've waited 7 days for a tech. 7 days later, Shawn
arrived on time.
Not friendly at all. Was angry as we didn't take pictures for him.
Kept complaining about his shoulder & back. He claimed he was told ours was a side-by side, but it is a stacking unit.
Then he said he couldn't do the job. He was very rude & walked out the door. I would never recommend them for any job... and now I'm reluctant to even shop @ Rona. Their customer service was terrible. Now I must hire a tech, pay for it & Rona will reimburse me. Terrible!!

I advise against engaging their services. I purchased a microwave from Home Depot and paid an installation fee of approximately $200. However, upon their arrival, the installers demanded an additional $85, claiming they were the sole authorized LG appliance installers in Kingston, Ontario, and refused to proceed without the extra payment. They also declined to install my dishwasher, which was purchased from The Brick. Consequently, I had to contact LG's head office to arrange for an installer from Belleville to complete both installations.
Great service
QuickContractors arrived on time, and worked quickly to get the job done. I really appreciate how Sethi A. tried to trouble-shoot when he learned I didn't have a junction box for the dishwasher. Sethi and his assistant were lovely people, who respected my house and tidied up before leaving. Recommend!
I booked them through homedepot
I booked them through homedepot. Never again.
Do NOT let them in your house
Do NOT let them in your house. Their contractors caused considerable damage to my house and they refuse to take accountability and say it is my responsibility as a homeowner to take care of emergencies (the emergency that happened due to their contractors not installing an appliance properly and causing a flood to my home). DO NOT use unless you want potential thousands of dollars worth of damage to your home.
Would give 0 star if I could
Would give 0 star if I could. Don’t let these people into your home. Installer caused flooding in my basement. The installer didn’t even care, while I ran around with bowels and towels trying to save my basement ceiling. He was rude and aggressive at the end when I refused to sign the form that says I was fully satisfied with the service. I can’t believe he even had the gaul to tell me to sign it. Nope, do yourself a favour. Hire someone else.
Wrecked floors during oven install.
Company's contractors scratched up my floor during an oven install, I submitted a claim which they denied as the "scratches were too far away". Stay far far away from this sorry excuse for a business. Find literally anyone else. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
They sent the wrong person and still charged me
I booked a diagnostic appointment with QC after giving them the make and model of my appliance. They sent someone who said they can't work on it and still charged me the diagnostic fee.
They did not offer a follow-up or a refund. I would not recommend using their services.
These poor reviews are legitimate
These poor reviews are legitimate. I bought a new hot water tank and it didn’t exactly fit into the old heater’s spot so instead of adding new pipe, they tilted the new heater back to meet the pipe. The heater is only halfway on the cement floor and the copper pipes are partially holding the heater up. They did the same thing to the vent tubing. Everything is bending and there is stress on all the connections.
I also needed to steam the carpet because they spilled rusty water everywhere.
AVOID at all costs or it will cost YOU
Do not use this company or you will be deeply regretful! This is the worst contracting company we have ever dealt with.
We had a vanity installed from Home Depot by them. The vanity was defective so it had to come out. Quick contractors ripped the drywall off my walls, put two dents in my new vinyl flooring and left a horrible mess and also didn’t cap off the main water so we had to put bowls under it.
We had to have another contractor come out after a new vanity was installed and he had to fix the drywall and put on backsplash to cover their damage. His bill was $380. After five months of arguing with quick contractors with very little response and deny deny, we had to settle for $100 refund. We could have asked for a lot more by getting our vinyl flooring replaced that was new. We also had to have the wall paint by a painter after the drywall repair. but we didnt go after that. The aggravation was not worth it.
They are the most horrendous, inexperienced company we have ever dealt with - and we have done a lot of repairs. Never again and shame on them!
Side note: I was asking one of the installers something and he couldn’t speak English so he had to let his partner answer my question. At least get people who know how to speak English. These guys had absolutely zero experience and did major damage to our bathroom. Avoid at all costs!!
Total ignoring the customer
I bought a LG fridge from Home Depot Green Field park Quebec for my 93 years old father whose right hand does not help him much. So I had to ask the Home depot sales man for change of the direction of the fridge door opening. This how it started. I paid $166+%14.975 tax for this service. September 18,2025. The fridge was delivered on September 23. September 21 someone called me to give me appointment for changing the door direction. Appointment was set for September 24 between 12pm -5pm.No one showed up! No call or any news on their side. Thursday Sep 25 I went to Home depot to find out what has happened!
Another supper helpful sales mad found out where was this job ordered to. QUICK CONTRACTORS!
with information I got from Home Depot, I called them. A quite rude receptionist came on line and told me she will investigate what has happened.
This is not a murder case! it should not take more than 2-3 phone calls to find out what has happened. Sept 26, I called back .The same rude receptionist! Telling me I can call back Saturday and I should be waiting 48 working hours for her to find out what went wrong with the not showing up at appointment. Today September 30, the customer service manger of Home Depot spent a long tome on the phone before he will be successful to talk to another receptionist giving him lame excuses for what was happening!!After a long conversations of giving excuses to Home Depot; he was finally told that they will email AIMEN " The technician" to find out when he could go do the job that he is already paid for!! that was the story!!
Rating of zero
Rating of zero. Don’t use this company. I was directed to them by another company dealing with an issue and customer service agent who answered phone was extremely rude.
