Brilliant driving instructor
My driving instructor made my learning experience very enjoyable and helped me pass on my first attempt at the Erith test centre. The learning process was very intuitive and I could feel myself improving with every lesson as my confidence on the road developed alongside.
The app was easily accessible and I was connected with my driving instructor in under an hour where I was also able to set up my first driving lesson within an hour of initially downloading the app.
I would recommend Rated Driving to anyone who wants to learn how to drive properly and safe.

Bitu amazing driving instructor
Had Bitu as my driving instructor. She was brilliant, very helpful and understanding I had 6 hours with her and she taught me more than any instructors I had and passed it first time with her. If you have her as your instructor she will give you plenty of confidence and explain you every bit of detail.

Find Mimi Sahatqiu - She's the best instructor.
I would not normally write a review like this but my son Louis had the best experience with instructor Mimi Sahatqiu at the Golders Green Driving School. She was both patient and firm. She ironed out all his bad habits, got him test worthy within a few lessons, and he passed first time. Thank you and well done Mimi and of course Louis!!

Highly recommended!
Everything was quick and simple, the app is easy to use and I was assigned an instructor the day I signed up and had my first lesson just days later. The staff are very helpful and quick to help with any questions I had. The instructor I was assigned has been very patient and given me confidence behind the wheel, I’d definitely recommend them to friends!

My instructor definetly deserves 5 stars!
It was my first time taking a professional driving lesson, and I was really nervous that I would be very rusty behind the wheel. However, I was put at ease thanks to Shorif! He was extremely patient, very relaxed, and easily created a comfortable and open atmosphere with his ice breakers! His teaching style is exceptional, and suitable for those who are quite shy and nervous. I am very fortunate to have been paired with him!

I had never touched a steering wheel…
I had never touched a steering wheel before, but with the help of Rated Driving, I passed my driving test on the first attempt — and at one of the lowest pass rate test centres in the UK! All within just two months.
My instructor was polite, patient, and explained everything so clearly. Couldn’t have done it without them. Highly recommend!

Ololade made me feel so comfortable and I loved that he assessed my skill level and matched me where I needed more help but let me have fun when he was sure I could do it. Can’t wait for round 2. 10/10 would recommend

Horrible Experience – Instructor Lied and Abandoned Student
I had a terrible experience with Rated Driving that I feel obligated to warn others about.
I purchased a 10-hour driving lesson package. After I permanently left the UK, I had 4 hours remaining. Since Rated Driving does not allow refunds, I reached an agreement in writing with my instructor that a friend could use the remaining hours.
My friend booked a 1.5-hour session. When she arrived, the instructor was shockingly rude and refused to proceed with the lesson — even though he had previously approved the arrangement. He only gave her about 10 minutes of instruction, then left her at the location. She called me in tears, visibly shaken by the experience.
When I complained to Rated Driving, they said they "spoke to the instructor" — who then falsely claimed he had told me credits couldn't be transferred. That never happened, and I have proof he agreed. Instead of investigating properly, the platform took his word and refused to refund the wasted session or the remaining credits.
To make matters worse, the instructor had already been extremely slow and unmotivated during the whole booking process, often taking forever just to confirm a lesson. I have chat records showing how long it took to get anything scheduled.
This entire experience was unacceptable. The platform showed no accountability and clearly favors instructors over students, even when faced with evidence. I strongly advise others to stay away.
I’m happy to share evidence if anyone doubts this.

We issued a full refund and followed up with the instructor internally after conducting a thorough review of this situation.
While this was a unique and complex case, we want to reassure you that your complaint was taken seriously. You initially contacted our support team after leaving the UK to enquire about a refund, and were advised that if your instructor agreed, your friend might be able to use the remaining lesson credits.
When your formal complaint came in, we reviewed the full message history and followed up directly with the instructor to understand what happened. While some parts of the exchange were disputed, it was clear that the situation was not handled with the level of professionalism we expect — particularly on the day of the lesson.
As a result, we issued a full refund for the 4 remaining hours, including the 1.5-hour session that did not proceed as expected. We are also following up internally to ensure lessons across the platform continue to meet the standards we hold.
We take learner feedback seriously and aim to resolve issues with fairness, professionalism, and care. We wish you all the best in the future.

After experiencing several delays with a recommended instructor, I decided to search online and came across Rated Driving. To my surprise, I was promptly assigned to Shorif, who impressed me from the start with his swift response.
