We dealt with Marc Karlin. He was very responsive and was able to answer all of our questions promptly and accurately. Overall, the process was smooth and the interface with the website was seamless. We were able to get what we needed for our renovation. Highly recommend.

Had an ugly surprise when my homeowner’s insurance decided I needed a new roof RIGHT NOW or they’d cancel my policy. Not the kind of unplanned expense you want to have! Matt and Jessica helped me quickly get a loan financed and funded so I’ll have a new roof in the narrow timeframe I was given! RenoFi got me a rate that was on the low end of APRs I was seeing elsewhere, but with a much longer period to pay it off, so the monthly payments wouldn’t feel like a hardship and no penalty for early repayment. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

I reached out to RenoFi twice-first I spoke with Jacob and he went through several of my options for when I was ready to move forward. He followed up a couple of times and later let me know that he was going to put my file aside and to reach out if I decided to move forward. I love that he wasn’t pushy or arrogant! When I reached back out I was paired up with Calli. We had a call and updated my needs and options so I knew what to do to move forward. Their portal is fairly easy to navigate, though I had to upload several items twice-they just disappeared. At this point I was contacted by Jessica to complete some final outstanding items and get those submitted.
My single star deduction comes from late and missed calls. Nothing major as I could still get in touch, but if a call is scheduled it should be on time and contact made of any issues.
Jessica did a great job updating me each step once I got started! I’m happy to say that my loan was funded today (just one day after I finalized my paperwork and application with the lender) and I’m excited to move forward with some much needed updates for my 100 year old home! I opted for the personal loan over home equity. Yes the rate is higher, but the goal is to combine them once mortgage rates decrease enough and the difference in fees made much more sense! Thank you Jacob, Calli and Jessica!!

Working with Marc Karlin from RenoFi was probably the easiest process I have ever experienced. Marc and his team were very responsive to any questions I had, and assisted us through a complicated renovation loan. I would definitely recommend to any one who needs a home renovation loan.

Fast, concise and helped with my renovation

We had an excellent experience working with Renofi on our home project. If you want an advisor who will go above and beyond for you- ask for Alicia. She treated us like family and was so great to work with. Jaimie, the processing manager, made sure everything was signed sealed and delivered correctly to the credit union. Overall great company and people to work with on such a major project.

Faith and Marc were so helpful throughout our entire loan process. We were kept up to date with all processes of our loan, most times on a daily basis. It was nice to know where we were at during that time so that we knew what to expect next. The entire process did entail some work from us and our contractor, as well as uploading lots of documents, but it was worth it. We were given a time frame of 30-45 days from start to finish and we closed at around 6 weeks time frame. I would recommend Renofi to anyone needing those extra funds for a house project or renovation, which is what we are utilizing ours for!

I stumbled onto Renofi while doing research into the types of loan would be available for me to renovate my kitchen. The website was easy to use and everyone that I interacted with through email or phone was very helpful and informative. Ryan and Jess did a great job explaining the different loans available and keeping me updated on the process.

Our experience to date has been fantastic. We are fully funded at a post renovation valuation which we never would have gotten elsewhere. The process was quick with the only small issue being a signed contract for the rennovation which is a bit of chicken and egg because we needed to know we had the financing to determine what we could actually do. All in all a great experience though we haven’t actually started building yet.

We had a great experience with renofi. Marc was knowledgeable about the products offered and provided support throughout the process. We were right within the time expectations provided at the start of the process. I would recommend working with renofi to others that are similarly trying to accomplish financing for a large renovation project.
