Been blocked and no responses from company for over 2 weeks after the matter was supposedly handed to their directors. Absolute liars and cheats do not trust

Company never replies, have been waiting for the director of the company to contact me for over 3 weeks now with no response absolute joke of a company and will steal your money do not send them anything

Worst company to find a house for you. They are not allowed to charge you for referencing. Legally anyway but Andy has no qualms about lying to get what he wants. Will ignore you for over a week but then say you were the one avoiding him. Don't trust this company at all

EDIT: Then why was I lied to by Andy? I was told I wasn't eligible for a refund as I hadn't responded within a day but he ignored me for over a week when I was asking about the referencing. Theres no way to contact the referencing company for an answer as I hadn't had one in over a week. Had to wait till Andy responded to Mr which was when the referencing company finally got back to me. Shady company with shady tactics lying to people in person about the requirements. You can't do or see any of the referencing requirements until you've paid the £50 which is disguised as a holding deposit so it looks legal.

Very friendly nice people and easy process

When I needed somewhere fast and affordable... these guys were there for me. Andy from Rent a room is a really nice and helpful bloke, and got me into my room in the matter of day or so. All legitimate and above board (unlike some of the dodgy ones out there), I cannot be more thankful for how they helped me out and at the speed they did it. Rent a room are one of the good ones and can personally vouch for them.

The house feels brand new. Everything is clean and the staff who helped me move in were great

Not one to write reviews but have to give credit where it’s due. Carrie, Andy, Gemma + the really lovely handy man are amazing. Really quick to resolve any concerns, respond quickly and communicate effectively. Couldn’t ask for a better team!

I had a room in nuneaton for three months on such short notice. Moved in November 2022. Carrie was briliant, and she ensured the process was all smooth on me. I will recommend them for any tenant who is looking for better value with all included. Most handy item in the bedroom was having your own refrigerator. 😀

What a great company rent a room is! From the very first email up until moving everything went amazing. We were greeted at the property for our viewing by Andy on lettings who was very professional and let us look around answering any questions we had.

We fell in love with the property and Andy sorted out the application form for us. We were kept up-to-date with all the checks and application status throughout the process. We also spoke to Carrie on Lettings who is just so wonderful and professional always willing to help when needed. Nothing was ever too much for Carrie. She is a great part of the team!

When we received the news that we had been accepted for the property we were overwhelmed and so grateful for everything Andy and Carrie had done for us.

Moving was so easy with Rent a room and I would highly recommend using them again if I ever needed too ( I hope I never have too move lol)

Fast service, polite staff, no issues and simple process, all the checks were completed in a very short time

I viewed the property on the Friday. I was in the house by the Thursday the following week. Extremely polite and fast service Andy and his team really do go the extra mile.
