Poor explanation of terms in the application process resulted in incorrect information being given and extra costs incurred. Easy access to call centre to resolve the problem.

Amazing car insurance company
Amazing car insurance company. My mum Eileen hit something on the road in her car. We rang Rias and had the most wonderful operative Liam HB. He was so reassuring and professional to mum. He arranged a company called Halo Arc to recover and repair the car. And we are so glad he did. They were also wonderful. An amazing experience for my mum who had been initially very upset about her beloved car. But after talking to Liam and being taken care of by him and Rias is very happy. Godbless Liam and Rias.

Insurance for tiny Leapmotor T03
My current car is insured with RIAS. They do NOT insure Leapmotor T03. After jumping through endless hoops answering endless questions, they don't insure it. BUT they work with Gallacher who they could put me through to and they might be able to help.
Oh yes, after the same gazillion questions, they quoted just shy of £1000!!!!!!!!!. Got it for a third of that from one direct. Could not be less impressed.

Hello Judith, we are sorry to hear we could not offer a quote on your car this time. In order to look at a quote for you, we will have to ask many different questions, but we cannot guarantee to be able to offer a quote on any particular car unfortunately.
Gallagher can sometimes offer cover where we cannot, however it's not guaranteed to be the best price in the market.

Easy to buy through the Comparison website.
The price was considerably more competitive than my previous insurer. However, as I used a comparison website to evaluate different products & companies, I was disappointed that RIAS advertised an inclusive courtesy car on the comparison site but that is an optional, paid for, extra on the policy.
