Large is not big enough to go over a winter jacket but you do not have an XL. So no vest in winter.

I knew it was time to invest in an Air vest, but I was overwhelmed at the concept of choosing the right one. The virtual fitting was incredibly helpful. I went with the suggested Equitheme vest and it fits perfectly and also looks great. My confidence in the saddle has improved since I put it on and my riding has subsequently improved as well. Not sure how well it works from a safety perspective yet as it has not yet deployed… I hope it will be a while before I have an answer to that question. But, the customer service at Equisafe was excellent and I am confident in my purchase. Thank you!

I was looking for a specific size in a show shirt, and this site had it. I was a little nervous because I had never ordered from here before. Some equestrian sites will post that they have something ready to ship but they really they just go to the manufacture and you are left in limbo for weeks. This shirt arrived so fast! It’s perfect. Catherine and her EquiSafe team are amazing. We learned about and contacted Catherine after our daughter had a serious fall from her horse. She listened to our concerns, asked insightful questions, and then provided us with the best options that met our needs. She was patient and offered useful information as we were working through the helmet and vest options. After we decided which equipment we wanted, she ensured we purchased the right sizes. Since we aren’t physically near any of the EquiSafe locations, Catherine guided us how to properly measure for the helmet. Her instructions were great and the helmet fits perfectly. Then, she told us when one of her colleagues (Annie) would be in an area close to our barn, so that our daughter could try on, be measured for, and fitted for her vest. Annie brought samples of the vests in varying sizes with her. Annie took the time to deploy an air vest canister while my daughter was wearing the vest we had decided on, so that my daughter knew what to expect and wasn’t scared when wearing it. Additionally, she educated us all on how to reload the canisters after they deploy and had my daughter practice reloading the canister.

Yesterday, our daughter participated in her first show since her accident almost ten months ago. While she was nervous in general, she was confident in her new helmet and vest. While we know riding is a dangerous sport, we are so grateful that Catherine and her team have helped us to reduce some of that risk. Thank you, EquiSafe, for sharing your wisdom!

We bought 2 Hit-Air Pro 3 vests. They arrived as expected. My wife was throwing from her horse when she wasn't wearing a vest and ended up in the ICU. We are both wearing vests now hoping not to repeat that experience. The vests are comfortable to wear and lightweight. Hope we don't have to review how they perform!!!

True the vest did not inflate upon impact. Rare but it is a mechanical vest. There was a manufacturers defect in the seam. It had inflated before when I accidentally jumped off. The vest has been fixed with a new tube, and tested. The rep was outstanding. Will reimburse my cost for shipping the vest (and now the company is changing the policy to automatically send a label, up front, if there is an issue with a vest.) The quality control on the vest and testing was explained in detail. I feel much more confident in wearing the vest. Also sending 2 replacement canisters. Thank you!

The vest was great I suggest you get a short size. Anything bigger would make riding difficult unless your tall im 5ft 4inc. The only down size was the wait time to get it. It took 5 weeks to get it. It is worth the wait! It's got good air flow and comfortable.. easy to get off the horse. Ive tried others ans I got caught up on the stirrups.
