Installation team were brilliant,Ben and Greg went out there way to make the install process brilliant.

They even fixed two broken ridge tiles for me.

I’m writing this because I wish someone had warned me before I started working here. If you are considering a job offer or thinking about using them for solar panels, please read this first.
For Employees: You will struggle to get paid. The biggest issue is the total lack of professional or legal standards regarding pay. Most people employed here face a very high likelihood of not being paid for their work, whether that be not being paid there full wage or not being paid at all. There are no actual employment contracts for new workers and they DO NOT provide pay slips, which is a massive red flag for any UK business. Most employed being told that their contract is “not a point of concern”. It’s a mess of "lost" payments and broken promises. You will be made to sign many documents that are not your employment contract that all have hidden clauses which will state anything in regards to not being paid. Along with this, it is frowned upon in this company if you do not work over your contracted hours regarding if you have completed your work for the day or not.
For Customers: Hidden fees and delays. The sales process might look good although some say it is extremely pushy and aggressive but once you sign, the hidden fees start appearing for everything. If something goes wrong with your installation (which is likely), don’t expect a quick fix. You’ll be waiting months for a resolution.
The Paperwork (DNOs) This is the most serious part for customers. The DNO applications are fraudulent. I have witnessed subcontractors signing customer names and faking signatures on certificates. The company isn't following legal procedures. If you are a customer, your "official" paperwork might not actually be valid or authorised by you.
The "Nationwide Renewables" Connection: Be aware that this is the exact same company as Nationwide Renewables. They are under the same ownership and are actively trying to hide that connection to escape their previous reputation.
Review Manipulation: Check the other reviews carefully. This company is known for blackmailing people into removing negative feedback. If you have a bad experience and post about it, they will often refuse to help you or settle what they owe you until you take the review down. Along with this, majority of these reviews are fake. Customers are pushed into writing 5 star reviews for resolving issues that are required to be fixed and majority of the 5 star reviews are fake reviews.
The Bottom Line: Between the fraudulent DNO (Distribution Network Operator) activity and the illegal way they treat their staff, this is not a legitimate operation. Do your research and stay far away.

Why is my review getting removed? Unsure why when I’m telling the truth
I would give them 0 stars if I could. The sales pitch is enough to scar me for life. Would never recommend. Came into my home wasted 2+ hours, to give me a ludicrous figure. A tedious presentation which lasted for hours felt like we were back at school. The icing on the cake was at the beginning being told it was either a yes or no not maybe, as they have too far to travel. By the end I was mentally drained, when asking if the figures could be left with me so I could think over I was met with a harsh tongue. I feel from my encounter this company is a scam. Awful don’t bother calling me , I think you now know it’s a definite NO for solar panels from you, I’ll go to Octopus

This was a great company to work with, everything went off without a hitch. The sales team was great talked us through all of our options. The install team did everything they could to keep us informed while they upgraded us to an electric self sufficient household. From calling them, booking in with he sales team and the install team arriving this was an easy company to supply the panels we’ve wanted for a while.

I had a very good video consultation with Jordan there was no pressure to sign offered us a quick turnaround before we went on holiday, customer service also made sure we got all our paperwork before we went on holiday, very pleased with the level of professionalism and efficiency of the team

NRG came and installed my solar panels, from the initial meeting with there advisor through to installation I couldn't fault them. The whole process took under two weeks, the installers did the job quickly and efficiently leaving the place clean, I highly recommend this company.

Had an issue with the thermostat and central heating for the Smart Heating feature provided by Right NRG but Ben and Gregg came out to fix the issue and now resolved.

Each time I put up a review it gets removed despite me correctly advising the contract number and supplying this information as requested. I will put on the review here. Right NRG Ltd provided me electrical installation certicate number 46866079 dated 19 March 2026.

This company is one of a number of companies in the group. In Mar26 they provided me certificates but not the MCS Certificate which is clearly stated in my contract.

Warning do not use this company for Solar Panels as they are not registered with any certifying body. They self certify so be warned!

Install completed in a few hours even though it was an afternoon appointment the lads worked all the way up to late hours to finish.

James took care to plan everything in the right way. The whole process was clear and easy to follow. It felt solid and dependable.

Please beware of cancellation and re-schedules fees which they do not communicate at first contact to book appointment. When changed my mind about getting the product I was questioned intensively and had to provide reason etc.
The sales person however was very knowledgeable and friendly.

worst company ever, DNO wasn’t competed at the time of installation in which they need my signature for so the certificate was fraudulent, nobody contacts you once they have received money leaving you blind. I’m not sure where any of these good reviews have come from the the only good thing was the sales rep who came out to me
