Absolutely vile experience from Dave

Absolutely vile experience from Dave. Decided that because we had owed money, he'd become aggressive. Previously had passive aggressive comments from him telling us "his salary had been docked". I went to the door today, prepared to completely pay the balance off, he's shoved a slip through the door, walked off. By the time I get to the door, he's driving off shaking his head and speeds off?

Never had this experience before from Ringtons, defiantly will be telling everyone I know to terminate their accounts locally as a result. I wouldn't want this type of aggressive behavior towards any of my friends/family who use this service.

Ordered some chocolate Brazils and also received some as a gift. Absolutely disgusted in the way this product has been reduced in quality and weight, yet still charging £9.99! Will definitely not be ordering any more!

Thanks so much for getting in touch and sharing your thoughts about our Chocolate Brazil Nuts, we really appreciate it. We wanted to mention first that we care deeply about the quality of our products, and that’s something we’ll never compromise on.

Over the last couple of years, the cost of cocoa has risen significantly, and like many others, we’ve really felt the impact.

Rather than change the chocolates themselves or push the price of the bigger box up too high, we made the decision to reduce the pack size and reduce the cost per box from £11.99 to £9.99. That way, the chocolates stay just as you know and love them but still remain affordable.

It wasn’t an easy choice, but we felt it was the fairest way to maintain the quality of the product while still making sure they’re accessible for our customers.

Please know we’re always working hard to balance quality, value and affordability, and we’re grateful for your understanding.

If you wish to keep the recipient guessing who it's from use Ringtons

If I could give minus 0 I would. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Ringtons and the 2nd time they have let me down.
1st time they put the wrong (paid for) message on the gift so the recipient, a business colleague I had never met and barely knew, who wasnt expecting a delivery, didn't know who it was from or even if it really was for them. I was slightly surprised they didn't acknowledge the gift and some considerable time later when speaking with them asked if they'd received it making concerns they may not have owing to postal and courier delivery problems recently highlighted on Consumer & Social Media platforms. Ringtons refunded tbe £1 charge for the Gift Card and credited £5 against future purchases.
I decided after much deliberation to give Ringtons 2nd chance. This time the gift was a Christmas present. I again didn't receive an acknowledgement from the recipient however week after delivery I received an email from Ringtons advising they had discovered there was a problem with their gift card printing machine and the gift card I had paid for hadn't been printed properly. Once again the gift was for a business colleague, once again I had to contact them and once again they were totally oblivious as to who the gift was from.
If you want your recipient to know who the gift is from DON'T use Ringtons

Excellent company

Excellent company. We live in a small village and we have a Ringtons Tea chap that calls around every 4 weeks or so. He is a happy cheery chap and we find the products to be excellent quality and fairly priced. Can 100% recommend them.

This is the 3rd time I've written this…

This is the 3rd time I've written this review, two were sent directly to Ringtons, never to be seen again, so I am trying Trustpilot. I've been a customer of Ringtons for quite a few years now and have tea delivered regularly. The product I am reviewing today is their Dark Chocolate Stem Gingers. I've bought these for several years too and also given them as gifts. They are generally only available in the run up to Christmas and I've pestered my salesman for them for a while. A few weeks ago he delivered me 3 boxes and I tried one box. Oh dear! They were not the chocolates I remembered. The box has always contained a selection of some dark and some milk
chocolates with the ginger inside fiery and delicious. The boxes I received this time were 1. Smaller (180g instead of 200g), 2.only contained dark chocolate and 3. the ginger was woody, tasteless and chewy and not hot at all. So disappointing. I shall not buy them again, which is sad for my rounds man who will miss out on the sale. Even worse is the fact that my two reviews are no where to be seen (perhaps because they were only 2 star reviews not 5star) .... Such a shame Ringtons and not up to your usual high standards.

(25.11.25) Having seen your reply to my Ringtons review I have to say I cannot find the two replies you say I should have received from you colleague , they have not come to my email and they are not on your website so I am at a loss.

Ideal hamper for gifting

Ordered some Christmas goodies and a hamper as a gift for a relative. Goodies delicious as ever. The hamper is fabulous, the box itself really elevates the gift. Far superior to other big brand hampers in content and overall look.

Ordered a Christmas Hamper

Ordered one of Ringtons Christmas hampers. Arrived quickly, and absolutely delighted with the hamper. The Christmas decorated box is a nice touch as it saves you from wrapping the gift. I thought the price was great for the number of products in the hamper. I showed my sister the hamper and she has ordered two as gifts for family too. Would definitely buy again. A fantastic company, with first class service.

With not wanting anything lately the delivery driver was very rude when I asked if I could put it on pay later and said I didn't buy anything lately so don't bother coming back to mine I am a Vulnerable Adult and don't expect that being spoke to like I was a child.

Tray not fit for purpose but negative review not visible

I contacted this company about a tin tray (£5.99) that I purchased. It had a non-slip coating but, on use, the coating sucked up any spills and left stains that cannot be removed. The tray now looks permanently dirty. I contacted the company who offered to refund it if I packaged it up an sent back to them. I explained that I have health issues and doing this would be a problem. I said I did not want a refund just wanted to let them know that this product was not fit for purpose. Heard nothing back but thought I ought to point out this fact on their website to alert others. Now several weeks later I notice that my review is not there - only 5* reviews are showing. Surely this is misleading?

Failed yet again to get promised doorstep delivery.

Further to my review on September 15 after which we were promised a delivery today, October 17th, it did not happen. I am surprised, disappointed, disgusted and totally disillusioned with this pathetic organisation. In truth, I think that’s me finished with them.

Brazil nuts.

After loving the products and using them for many years, This year I feel badly let down by my order. I ordered 6 boxes of their Brazil nuts which I give as gifts each year- This year they came, HALF the size of past years but still the same price! 13 nuts in a box! Absolutely disgusted and will never purchase them again! What a let down!
