We bought 2 of "The Monty" hampers. One for a gift and one for us. The delivery was very prompt. So, the biscuits in the hamper are lovely, in particular the ginger snaps. As for the tea, well it is a bit of a let down. The Decaf confirmed that I do not like decaf tea. The regular blend was ok but not great. I saved the gold until last and was really looking forward to it and I wanted to compare it to my usual brands. Unfortunately, that too did not live up to my expectations. I may be odd but I like to smell the tea before I drink it. They all have an unappetising smell to me! I found all the different blends to be on the weak side. I've been interested to try Ringtons for a while. Sadly, I am not converted from my usual 4 favourites. I would possibly return for those ginger snaps though. The recipient of our gift loves it. So it's down to personal preference.

Their coffee beans are surprisingly good, with a roasting date on the packet as well as a best before. Very good value and great taste in espresso.

Loved the tea and coffee, but the biscuits were the best part. All gone sadly.

Fantastic tea which is very difficult to beat! Also the ginger biscuits and marshmallow teacake are delicious. Just make sure you have a good hiding place for them as they disappear very quickly!

Ringtons and me..Never had anything but Ringtons growing up on Tynside.Due to work..I now live "dahn sarf"..My partner came up with me about 16 years ago..Stayed at me Ma,s.."oh whats that tea your Mum has ? " Ringtons why ? Its really really nice..At that time Ma, and Roberta were getting on..so Ma sent down tea bags( * Breakfast tea)..Well Ma being Ma,( she was Mrs Fratelli in the Goonies)..she fell out with Roberta..I stepped up..and filled the supply gap...Roberta now speaks fluent Geordie..(sometimes translating for me in Essex),drinks Geordie tea..supports the Toon..but is on 6 to 8 bags a day..even robs my stash...to feed her habit..Just bought 400 breakfast bags..next day delivery aswell...its hard living with an addict..but I love her..thank you Ringtons...Geordie Steve..the Toon now in Essex
