The sale went smoothly, preparation failed
The sale went smoothly , no issues or hiccups. Any contact was anwsered immediatly. The soure tast was left as the car was not prepared for collection. Whatever i was told would be done to the car like valet or charge, was not done.

From start to finish, Scott was helpful and communicative. Everything was easy and clear. This is a family firm with an attention to detail. The customer is there to be helped and supported! And I certainly felt that.

Positive but could do better
Henry Rix was very pleasant. The car was exactly as advertised with great history. No negotiation on the price was forthcoming but decided to buy it anyway(having made a 400 mile round trip) Deposit paid and rest sent that night on condition that 5 things were repaired/replaced. When I arrived to collect having travelled 200 miles I was left at the railway station for over 30 minutes before being collected as promised. Four of the five items were dealt with but the non functioning electric aerial was not repaired or replaced as promised so I am left with the cost of replacing this and no offer of recompense made.They had 4 days between my first and second visits but suspect everything was done at the last minute. On the whole fairly positive but could do better.

Unprofessional conduct and bad sales practices
I was scheduled to collect a vehicle I had purchased through Rix motors website. I travelled from London to Warrington specifically to complete this transaction.
However, upon inspection of the vehicle, I discovered that there were no floor mats in the car.When I raised this concern, I was spoken to in an unprofessional and dismissive manner by their Sales Manager, Darren. He told me that the car came in without floor mats and that I should "take it or leave it" as nothing could be done. I found this response both discourteous and unacceptable, particularly given the significant distance l had travelled and the value of the vehicle, which was over £23K
It is extremely disappointing that for a vehicle of this value, such a minor issue could not be resolved professionally.
Floor mats are a relatively small cost item, and the manner in which my concern was handled raised serious doubts about the level of after-sales support I might receive should any significant issue arise in the future.
Due to the way I was treated, I felt I had no option but to cancel the purchase. This was not a decision I took lightly, especially after travelling such a long distance.
This is the first time I have experienced such treatment when purchasing a vehicle, and I believe it falls well below the standard of customer service expected from a reputable dealership.

As explained by our staff member, the vehicle came in without car mats, which would have been apparent on both the advert, and the extended video of the car, that was sent to you.
Our team gave you the option to either continue with the purchase and collection of the vehicle or get a full refund of the deposit taken.
Unfortunately you decided to cancel the sale and the refund was processed once you had been taken back to the train station.

Bought a 3rd car from Rix
Purchased a 3rd car from Rix. Another Range Rover. A lovely spec version of the Dynamic HSE model 2016/17. They always seem to source their range rovers with that little bit of individuality (mine had a pimento deep red interior). Excellent service from Becky you always feel at ease. It was a pleasure to meet Mr Rix himself, who obviously from meeting with him has a passion and love of the business, he put the icing on the deal. It really is a business that keeps that “family feel” alive. Thank you for making another purchase seamless and as stress free as can be. I just want to add that when buying a Range Rover you need to feel the dealer has got your back as there are too many components on a luxury vehicle like this to be able to check for any issues on a test drive. So it transpired that the stop start and air con wasn’t working as it should, so I called Becky who along with Charles got it booked in and sorted, there’s peace of mind for you. Fantastic service .

So this was my 2nd car ive purchased from RIX in the space of about 5 years. They are a genuine car dealership with some very nice cars on there forecourt. From the initial contact by phone to collecting the keys the staff were both professional and friendly with excellent customer service throughout
My point of contact was Ali (Alastair) who was very helpful and friendly and there was no pressure or hard sell.
Finally after purchase there was a minor issue which was dealt with promptly and no quibbling
