Quite possibly the worst
Quite possibly the worst example of a company not honouring their own contract I have ever seen. I listed my unit with them, they then proceeded to do nothing. They only did an open home because I asked them if they were going to do an open home. They did more welfare checks of my tenant than what I would have been comfortable with if I was her. Every email was about the tenant, bearing in mind they weren't managing the rental. They then said they would do another open home and let me know how it was all going every two weeks. I didnt hear from them again until I contacted them. Their only strategy for selling my unit appears to be to drop the price by 1/10th and they then ended the contract on the spot when I asked if they would be reducing the commission payable given the appraisal amount was theirs. The marketing was non-existent. I can list units on domain and realestate.com.au without a real estate, clearly the reason I am signing with a real estate is to get more than that. Pay no attention to what they say they will do, they point-blank do nothing beyond listing on realestate.com.au and domain. That is all they did. I contacted head office to complain. Surprise, surprise, I got no answer, not even an acknowledgement of the complaint. Do yourself a favour, skip Roberts Real Estate when looking to buy or sell in Tasmania. They are farcical. I will never even look at a listing for sale with Roberts and they have now lost a $ 1.5 million cash buyer because of their lacklustre non-effort. I kid you not, I am not a competitor. I actually tried to sell a property through Roberts and this is what their service consists of. I am now with another real estate and will be discussing any loss of sale price implications with my lawyer when it sells. Dont sign contracts with sellers if you dont want to put any effort into selling it!
