My son has improved his ball control…
My son has improved his ball control and learned a few skills from training. He is only 6 years of age and he takes his learning and practices in school playtime. He is able to play with senior members in year 5/6 as they really like the way he plays. Thanks to Samba Soccer

Samba team have been encouraging of my…
Samba team have been encouraging of my boys development, with a combination of fun exercises and technical drills, have created a weekly environment for him to thrive. He enjoys this session and looks forward to it each week. Looking forward to him progressing to the higher level groups.

My son has been attending Samba Soccer for over a year. He absolutely loves the sessions each Sunday morning at Chelsea Academy. Coach Brandon in particular has really helped him improve so much over this period of time by not only encouraging but also challenging him to develop his skills. My son now plays for a team as a result of his new found confidence.

FREE trial lesson with Samba Soccer 4-7 yrs at 1:30pm, Marshalls Park Academy RM1 4EH (Indoor)
I been with my son 5 years old for a trial lesson, my son is little shy and I would stay with for a few minutes but the coach very aggressive told me to leave my son there and to go in the back! Wich I did, my son started to cry, the lady (second coach tried to discuss with my son hopping is gonna join the team" I appreciate that! But the man "coach aggressive taking my soon and then pushing on the wall told him to stay there.
After seeing that i take my son and my son is affected emotionally told me never come again and hate this football class! I believe the coach for those ages to be more sensible with kids regardless a first day and so. Hopefully no one to be in the situation I was. I don't recommend, maybe other coach be better.

The experience we have had with Samba
The experience we have had with the Samba team at Chelsea Academy school in Lots Road has been phenomenal. Big thanks to Toni and Brandon James who has been exceptional in finding time during training to provide recap one to one to the kids there, which helps so much.

My overall experience
Two of my sons go to Samba Soccer School at Elephant & Castle and I must say their football technique, communication, teamwork and listening skills has improved so much. I like how the coaches are friendly, patient and very knowledgeable in football overall. They make sure the kids use the skills which they are teaching on weekly basis.

Welfare issues and improvements required
My children initially enjoyed attending the club hosted at St Pauls Way Secondary School but since Coach George joined it has become a terrible place. My children were shouted at and left traumatised. I have reported this to the police, council and NSPCC.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Samba Soccer Schools, we always welcome constructive criticism and feedback. However, we believe that your review misrepresents the events that occurred and it is important to provide clarity and context for the benefit of others.
Firstly, you mentioned that the class at the St Paul’s Way School has been “terrible” ever since Coach George joined. It is worth noting that Coach George had only been at the venue for one week prior to your complaint. He was appointed as Venue Manager for that site to ensure our health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies, and operational standards were upheld across all sessions.
Prior to Coach George’s appointment, your children had been attending multiple hours of sessions beyond their registered and paid-for class. While you were booked in for the class from 10:30-11:30am, your children also took part in the class from 12-1pm and 1-2pm. While this was an oversight by a previous coach, it was brought to your attention that this practice could not continue.
Our coaches tried to get in touch with you so your children could be picked up after their designated session had ended, however they were not able to get through to you until 1pm. During this time, they had been asked to sit out, in accordance with the following policies:
1. Safeguarding and insurance requirements: Children not on the register are not covered in case of an accident.
2. Age-appropriate session structures: the 12–1 pm class is exclusively for children aged 4–7, and mixing older children poses safety risks.
3. Fairness to other families on the waiting list: Allowing unregistered participation prevents us from accommodating families who are on the waiting list for the class.
When these policies were enforced, you became verbally abusive toward Coach George and other staff members, with your children present. Multiple coaches confirmed this behaviour, which is not acceptable under any circumstances.
Following your complaint, we conducted a thorough review. Based on our findings, we are confident that Coach George and the team handled the situation professionally and in line with safeguarding protocols. At no point did Coach George shout at or mistreat your children, and we are saddened by the misrepresentation of events in your review.
At Samba Soccer Schools, we take any allegations involving safeguarding extremely seriously and are fully prepared to cooperate with external authorities, including the police, council, or NSPCC, should they choose to investigate. We are confident that our team’s actions were appropriate, transparent, and in the best interests of all children.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or disrespectful behavior toward staff. This policy is outlined in Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions and exists to protect our team and foster a positive environment for all families. Unfortunately, your conduct during this incident left us with no choice but to discontinue your family’s attendance at our sessions.
Despite your misconduct, we had offered to refund you for the remaining two classes of the month, as a gesture of goodwill. It is therefore very disheartening to see that you have since left a negative review misrepresenting the events that occurred.

A year ago my five years old son started one in Stonebridge Park he’s confidence grows every week now Sunday is best day of the week he loves football more than ever .

My daughter spent an year with the lovely team in Samba Soccer School, Ockendon. The coaches there are fantastic. She enjoyed every minute there. Strongly recommend!

Amazing Coach
My sons attended three different football schools this past summer and Samba was their favourite by far as they felt their coach taught them new skills. I loved Coach Tariq’s enthusiasm and passion for what he does, and he showed genuine care. He pays fulll attention to his class and students which we can't say was true at the other schools we attended. His energy and encouroagement were endless!
Ben on the admin side was also extrmemly patient with my countless questions and responded in great detail with kindness and understanding.
Definitely recommend this school!

My two grandchildren has been doing…
My two grandchildren has been doing samba lessons at the venue for some time now, I absolutely love how confident they has got with the ball now and loves practising at home too. We also love how fun the coaches make it for the kids, always engaging and playing games with them. They always seem to care about the lesson rather than looking at the clock for when the 1 hour finished .They loves coming to Samba Soccer and I can see the improvement in there skills! My son loved going to Samba school the coaches are not only good at coaching football but are also good at handling young kids they have a good balance of keeping the kids in line and having fun, the football itself is very good my son improved a lot going to these classes

More practice a staff trainnig nd traning needed the…
More practice and traning needed the children to help them skils as I dont see any improvement skils or condition from my two kids and over all the samba clab must have a link to the clubs for the better future to the children

We always want children to progress and learn with us and we are committed to not just improving your children's skills, but their confidence as well. Therefore it is upsetting to hear that you have not seen this improvement.
To have a better understanding of the situation, we would really appreciate it if you could get in touch with us directly. This way, we can work with our coaches to improve the situation, not just for your children, but for all the students in the class that you attend.
As you can see from our other reviews on TrustPilot and on google as well, we pride ourselves on how we are often able to improve children's skills in their time with us. Therefore, it is upsetting to hear that we weren't able to provide this for your children.
We are currently working on building an internal team for children to join once they progress through Samba, with last year being the first year that this was running. We are hoping to grow the teams, so we can have a team available for more age groups and in more areas across London in the near future.
As I previously mentioned, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us, as it would be very helpful for us to understand how we can improve the classes to benefit you and your children.

Sessions are excellent for younger kids…
Session is excellent for young kids to run around with a ball at their feet. Learning some ball control and tekkers along the way however not ideal for a parent who has aspirations for their child to become a pro footballer. Can be used as an additional football session. Overall great little session for younger kids as an introduction to the sport or top up to other sessions.
