I absolutely love the shoes. Unfortunately, I'll be returning them because I wasn't careful about the sizing. Since the shoe was on sale, the correct size is not available. I hope that this style returns in the near future.

Shoes were lovely and arrived quickly, unfortunately they didn't fit so I had to return them. Just waiting on the refund.

This is an update of my original review of a couple of weeks ago.
Since then, I have had the situation kindly explained to me.
I'm sure that it was a one off problem as my order got misplaced, but I have had positive correspondence from them and understand that these things happen sometimes and it wouldn't put me off from purchasing from them in the future.

I recently purchased the Sadie extra-wide fit slingback flats, and they are nothing short of exceptional—just like every pair I’ve owned from Sargasso & Grey. Really good service. I originally ordered the shoes in my normal size, but had to return them for a smaller pair. The extra wide fitting really made a difference. They are still a little big, so I suspect that I really need just a wide fitting rather than extra wide.
The shoes are lovely, and went really well with my outfit for a party.

Super quick service and very quick delivery

The colour is rather strange almost a green hue which does not worry me as I love green but I would not describe it as biscuit. The leather is rather hard at the moment so looks a bit bulky on my already wide feet. Hoping they will soften up with wear and let my feet slide in them a bit more easily.

These are really lovely shoes. Got them in gold for my daughter’s wedding and they were so comfortable. When the burgundy suede came in the sale I couldn’t resist and I’m so pleased with them. I am size 5 shoe and have been buying size 6 in other brands just to accommodate the width of my foot. Now I can buy size 5 extra wide and get a perfect fit.

I bought two pairs of shoes different sizes and left the ones that fitted me perfect 👌 and how wonderful to be able to walk with no blisters or pain anywhere in my wide feet

Second time I’ve ordered from S&G, and both times - they have been so helpful. Ordered 2 black pairs as was asked to play for a concert bad old shoes no longer fit. They arrived, but didn’t quite fit so I needed an urgent exchange. I’d got in a bit of a muddle as shoes flying back and forth… I rung them and emailed them yesterday, and they completely sorted it all out. My shoes arrived just now and they are beautiful!! These shoes are fabulous. With my awful bunions on both feet I have not bought proper smart shoes for a few years. These shoes fit beautifully and are so comfy, I am truly delighted with them.

What a joy to find sandals that are comfortable and actually fit when you have bunions. The quality is superb and delivery really quick, I have been so impressed that I now have three pairs, I can’t recommend them enough.

The most comfortable shoes in the whole entire world has to be the Bertie Wide Fit Wedges. I now own all three colours available. In total I own 6 pairs of Sargasso & Grey shoes and one bag and I wish I had found them years ago. I was never a shoe and bag girl until I found this wonderful company.

Absolutely LOVE the shoes! It’s a revelation to find shoes that actually fit my feet properly, are comfortable, and beautiful to boot!

The customer service also fantastic- FedEx messed up and lost the first pair of shoes but Katie was very responsive and proactive about chasing them up, and sent a new pair out as soon as it became apparent that the first pair was lost.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. I’ll be back next pay day, Sargasso & Grey!

Lena slingback shoes - perfect.
Comfort - perfect (particularly around the slight bunion on one foot) and adjustable slingback with elastic make it easy to adjust during the day as feet swell slightly from standing!
