Second Nature Behaviour Opiniones 

We have been under SNB for a few months now as I had concerns with my miniature dachshunds behaviour after she seemed to progressively worsen after the death of our elderly terminally ill dog in 2022. Ella has been working alongside Keely (CAB) & Hannah (MRCVS, CAB) and has come on leaps and bounds with their help.

Her baseline has improved, her recovery after reactions has improved, her confidence has improved, her tolerance has improved, her reactions in themselves have improved. Ella is actually sleeping rather than alert snoozing so is feeling more well rested.

We really needed to look at medication options, but wasn't sure what would work best for such a complex dog so Hannah was essential to solving that puzzle with her knowledge and ability to diagnose and prescribe as both a clinical behaviourist and registered vet.

We have worked mostly with Keely and it's been amazing to see her grow in confidence and see Keely as not a threat and has willingly ventured over to seek her reassurance on a walk or to take treats.

The team have fantastic communication skills through our group chat and with our vets. They have been able to go directly through insurance which has been hassle free. They offer support and advice whenever needed.

As a dog walker/pet sitter/dog trainer/student CAB I cannot recommend SNB enough. They understood Ella's needs and have worked with me and listened to my input, observed Ella's behaviour and been able to work alongside us.

The Second Nature Behaviour team has been absolutely brilliant in helping us with the long term behavioural problems one of our rescue dogs experiences. Keely has provided not only home visits and on line support but has carried out specific training with issues when we are away in our touring caravan.
We would not hesitate to recommend Second Nature Behaviour to anyone with a pet that finds daily life a challenge.

I have been with Second Nature behaviour for about 2 years now. Zoe has been a life saver. my two cats have fought and been unhappy around each other for a long time, and with Zoe and SNB's help, they are both medicated and can exist in the same space with each other well now, we have barely any incidents anymore and they are both so much more comfortable and calm.

One of our cats also had a long term problem with urinating on bedding and furniture instead of her litter tray, however in the last 18 months we have had next to no instances of this happening. I was at my wits end a few years ago with how to help my cats and SNB and Zoe have not only helped my cats, it has helped me too and I am so grateful

They also work with Petplan as well which is how I was able to afford two rounds of care from them, and I cannot recommend them enough

I have no hesitation in recommending Second Nature Behaviour to help with any issues you have. My rescue was basically scared of everything; she was stealing items around the house, guarding and showing aggression both to strangers and to us. She had a terrible time with separation anxiety, even when my husband was in another room.

She is now very relaxed, happy and is showing real progress with her behaviour. Some of the problems we had were solved in minutes. Zoe understood how much we loved our furbaby and wanted to improve her well-being. Sound advice indeed. We learned how to understand the behaviour and its cause. Our pooch had a traumatic time before she came to us, and to see her so relaxed and happy now is such a joy. Working in conjunction with my own vet was also a bonus.

A recommendation from my own vet, as these were 'the best in the business', this was exactly how I felt.

Second nature was reccomended to me by a friend to get some guidance for my noise phobic Husky. The help and guidence i recieved was unmatched. I felt suported through out the whole process and my dog has improved massively. I now understand the steps i need to take to help him feel better and im seeing improvement every day. Second nature helped my dog go back to his bubbly and confident self. I cant reccomend them enough :)

Will try to be vague as would like to remain anonymous.

Decided to use their services as was having some troubles with my pet. Hired one of their behaviourists for £750 for 3 appointments and Tele communications in-between appointments.

While some of the info that we received was useful and has improved behaviours the communication between the appointments was mostly poor as there seems to be lack of interest on their part. We were told certain things would be carried out only to later find out they never happened. Communication to us was cut off early at the end of the program.

We felt overall it didn't represent a value for money to us, who were desperate for help and the main issue we went to Second Nature with hasn't changed at all.

EDIT: Changed title of review and it was originally a 2-star review, but changed to 3 stars as it was a bit harsh. I still feel communication could be improved, particularly between appointments. Also in hindsight it's quite difficult to address problem behaviours and implement training and discuss progress in 2 1-hour sessions (2nd and 3rd appointment)
