Second Nature is terrible and the…

Second Nature is terrible and the service have gotten worst from the time I started the subscription. My filter was ordered on August 16 and it's August 29 and I still haven't received my filter. They raise the prices and my filters show up 15 - 20 days later but they not late on taking money out my account. They keep blaming FedEx but I have ordered stuff from other company deliver by FedEx and no problem. I can order from Amazon and get it faster. Cancelling my subscription

Second Nature and Invitation Homes Price Gouging Scam

I rent a home from Invitation Homes. When I renewed my lease I was forced to sign up for Second Nature air filters. I am appalled by the price gouging between Second Nature and Invitation Homes. I am forced to use this service and pay $9.95 per month, receiving 1 filter every 3 months which equals $29.85 per air filter. Second Nature advertises the filters on their site as $16 each. Second Nature should be ashamed at themselves for allowing this price gouging. Either Invitation Homes or Second Nature or both is highly profiting off this air filter scam. I submitted a complaint to the Florida State Attorney's office and Better Business Bureau yesterday to investigate this scam. Avoid Second Nature and Invitation Homes. Not ethical companies.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We assure you that this service is not a scam. Invitation Homes sets a standard fee across all of their properties, whether they have 5 filters for a changeout, or 1 filter for a changeout. For most properties, this comes out to lower than what we would charge for retail, but for others, it comes out higher.

Quality is inconsistent. This second order, the filter material is thin and not like the first order which was thick and plush. I would have been better off buying filters from the hardware store for $10 each. I paid over $50 for 2 Second Nature filters. Not worth it. Also, I messaged the company days ago and never received a response.

Hi there. Apologies for the delay in responding to your email to us. Volume is high and we are responding as quickly as we can. Filter media can sometimes differ in appearance depending on what it is composed of. Cotton media, for example, will be thicker and fluffier, while polyester blend media will be rougher and thinner. The filters are tested to ensure they meet standards for their filter quality. Any appearance differences are strictly cosmetic, and while a change may be alarming at first, the filters will perform just as well as they have before. Please accept our apologies for any confusion.

Horrible customer service experience!

At the suggestion of my daughter in law, I subscribed to Second Nature a few days ago. Since that time I have received several emails from your customer support team and I call them that loosely! The first email was accusing me of having the same information as someone that was already subscribed! That person is my daughter in law because I listed her phone number!!!! The next email came from Catherine in the same department accusing me of ordering too many filters!! Really??? So, I changed the number of filters I have from 8 to 5 and received yet another email requesting that I send pictures of my intakes!!!! I told Catherine in response to both of her extremely offensive emails to forget it and cancel my subscription!!!!! I plan to promptly post this story on all social media platforms as well.

That’s because it’s not for the house in the country! It’s for my gentleman friend’s in the city if you must know all of my business!

We were trying to verify your subscription request matched the offer of free air filters for a single changeout of filters in your home, and public information about your home (square footage--generally there's one intake filter per 1,500 sq feet or so, or maybe two if the home has two stories) didn't match the number of free filters you were asking for. If we didn't convey that clearly or courteously, please accept our apologies.

Great customer service!

I have loved Second Nature since I heard about them, and love them more after today. I had a question about a current order, and I called and was only on hold for about 1 minute. I connected with Dave and he could not have been nicer. Great customer service and a great company!

Tenia was an excellent representative…

Tenia was an excellent representative for this company. We've never had any issues until the company changed their name, and then stopped receiving our filters. Frustrated with the website, I finally found a number and made a call, and I'm so glad Tenia answered. She is a problem solver and quickly helped me figure out what was going on and did what needed done to help us get back on the right track. She made sure we knew about the product features and different options available and made sure we were well taken care of. I don't enjoy calling customer service, I would rather just send a message and wait for a response. But I was glad to have met her that day and am happy to continue business with a company who hires customer service reps like her. She did an excellent job.

No more forgetting to grab a filter…

No more forgetting to grab a filter from the store - let alone which one when you have an "odd" size that's a little hard to find stock of sometimes. No more dismissing the calendar reminder on my phone (by accident sometimes), thinking I'll do it that night. For me, that physical reminder of a box on the porch is well worth the extra dollar or two it is compared to grabbing one from the store. The quality of the filters have been on par, or even slightly better than any I've gotten in the past. I definitely recommend this service to anyone.

Flawless customer service

Yes you can get filters for less money at the hardware store, but you're paying for convenience, not to mention excellent customer service.

If you get a fridge filter, fill out the questionnaire very carefully. We got the wrong filter but I gave them the model number of the fridge and they took care of everything at no extra cost to us. Could not have been easier, HIGHLY recommended!

Over priced!

They are expensive. I picked up a filter at the local hardware store for much cheaper. Not worth it. And the filter I picked up was better than the one Second nature sent.

Just had the best experience with this company. TENIA in customer service was delightful. She went out of her way to be helpful and friendly. She took care of all my concerns and went even further by making sure I had the correct product and services.

EXCELLENT - Highly Recommend Second Nature AND Tenia!

Second Nature filters are EXCELLENT, in my opinion. I've been ordering them for 2+ years and they always arrive on time (or early). Today I called their customer service line to order EXTRA filters and I spoke with their representative named TENIA. She was awesome!! Very positive and was able to help me get my account reconfigured the way I wanted it to be. I HIGHLY recommend Tenia and Second Nature filters to anyone who hasn't tried them yet! Happy 2021!

Second Nature has been a great help

Second Nature has been a great help. They doubled up the number of filters that we received at my request and helped keep the air clean for my family. My wife is house bound and therefore we try to keep the house as clean as possible. It has helped a great deal. Thanks!

Great Customer Service

Great Customer Service! Every time I need assistance they are on top of it. Product comes timely and at a reasonable cost considering I: 1) don't have to remember to replace my filter; 2) don't have to make a trip to the hardware store or remember to order online; and 3) I always know my system is running clean.
