Great for education and support
Great for education and support. Providing knowledge that will be useful for a lifetime. The app is so easy to use and the community support provides great encouragement. I definitely trust that they have your best interests at heart and know what they are doing.

Great support from my health coach. I was worried about starting the program but my health coach has been brilliant answering and supporting at the way during my first month. I feel like I’m making real changes and forming new habits which will help me keep the weight off

Having done a lot of research, I decided to go with second nature the support is there on hand and teamed up with others in the group that are around the same stage as yourselves. It has been an inspiration with all the daily information regarding weight loss and nutritional benefits. Would highly recommend second nature.

I’m very glad that I decided to try the Second Nature programme. It’s much more than just a provider of weight loss medication. Five weeks in and all fine. It works!
Slightly deceptive
Disappointing filling in the questionnaire only to find that to see the results you have to pay. It’s like ordering a car without a test drive and slightly deceptive I would say.

I am now on month 2 of my medication…
I am now on month 2 of my medication and seeing the results which I am happy with. I did lots of research and found that although Second Nature were not the cheapest option they were the safest option with continuous support from a health coach and regular checkins
One size fits all approach to pre-diabetes that doesn't work for everyone
Whilst Second Nature's pre diabetes NHS endorsed programme may be great for someone who has a lot of weight to loose, eats unhealthily and never exercises - Its not so good for someone like me. Someone who only has a couple of kilos to loose to be in the healthy bmi, is pre-diabetic, but already eats a lot of home cooked healthy meals, and is active, exercising multiple times a week. The only why i have managed to loose any weight over the 9 month programme is by skipping meals and fasting, which is not part of Second Nature.
The course assumes that you are all at the same starting point, and so feel extremely condescending in some of the basic areas of cooking and exercise and then goes from that into extremely complicated science. I've also found i'm just extremely hungry when i follow their recipe and their food plan, the recipes that are suppose to feed 4 people feed 2, maybe 3 people at a push.
The health coaches sound like AI robots or very scripted and aren't really much help at all, and the groups don't engage with each other. I thought the course would involve video calls at some point but its all chat messages via the app.
All the talk about sleep, stress and mindset made me more stressed and worried. Overall the course has made me extremely anxious about eating carbs and i now feel like i can't eat without worrying i've picked the wrong thing. They don't mention any of the smart hacks you can use like eating your veg first or food pairing to reduce spikes.
The app is poorly designed and the food diaries don't have any smart functionality to assess your food. Zoe is much better for having an app that is actually useful.
The recipe book is fine - the food tastes good but often has a lot of ingredients in the recipes and i found it too time consuming to meal plan to the extent that they recommend. Would be good if they had more practical tips for eating on the go, eating out etc.
Glad i didn't have to pay for the course as i would have been disappointed if I had had to spend money on it.

Diet journey
I am happily carrying on with my injections, I don't seem ro have many side effects and I can talk to Monet when I need to and she gets straight back to me. The weight is coming off very slowly but I'm OK with that. I'm feeling in control for once!!!
A helping hand
I have found second nature to be supportive, informative and responsive. If you want to be treated kindly as an individual then they do the job.
Education and support is second to none
Having carried out lots of research, I opted to do my medicated weight loss program with Second Nature. Each day there is information to listen to or read (whichever is your preference) to educate you on food, eating right, being healthy … to retrain and learn how to make the right choices once a healthy weight is reached. The support of my coach Monet has been so useful, in motivating me to eat enough protein, to exercise, to query my past and present food choices. These support mechanisms, the medication itself, and the support of my group (sharing our experiences on the journey) are empowering me to know that this time my yo-yo dieting past is behind me and a healthier me is already emerging. Thank you Second Nature!

The support and communication I’ve had from the team at second nature has been excellent. This has really help me with my journey so far I’ve lost a stone in five weeks. I’ve a way to go but am positive with their support I will achieve my goals.

Thoughtful weight loss and lifestyle change
Been with Second nature 3 months doing the GLP1 assisted programme, it is genuinely changing life, I'm losing the weight I've been meaning to get around for losing for 20 years and have failed to do with a succession of diets. Mounjaro is really helpful but the daily articles and health coaching are incredibly helpful at getting you not just to eat less but do it in a way that I can see lasting for the longer term. Well worth it.

I trust Second Nature, their supportive and measured approach to health and weight loss is just what I wanted.
Second Nature - Holistic Weight loss.
I wanted to do a weight loss programme that was holistic, which also had the option of medication added into it. I wasn’t disappointed with Second Nature.
Second Nature offer a plan that helps with medication, but also is informative and supportive.
I have a named coach who I can contact on weekdays. I am also a member of a support group of other people on the plan. Each day I’m sent a short article (with audio option) to give me some information or ideas for changing my habits or thinking.
On the cost side, this isn’t the cheapest plan going, but I think for me, it is the best plan to help me change my habits and manage my weight for good.
