Blame shifters

Ordered my product and it wasn’t delivered till more than a month later. I emailed select basics and after several messages exchanged I was told it was the shipping company’s fault not theirs so they didn’t have to deal with it. This company didn’t take any responsibility and are very unprofessional! Then after finally getting my product my card was being charged $29.99 a month for a membership that included nothing and that I didn’t agree to. I will be seeking compensation from this company through legal steps. DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They are affiliated with Shop app and hide behind other businesses instead of owning their own faults.

They said my item was delivered (3 weeks after ordering), but I have never received it. They claim they are not responsible for lost purchases. And they would not ship me another item or give me a refund. Do not do business with this company. They are crooks. Buyer beware!

If I could give this company negative…

If I could give this company negative numbers, I would. They ripped me off. I never got the product and they still charged me the next month for the subscription. No refund or replacement offered.

Got the chargers for gifts and everyone I got them for says they love it. I appreciate the experience… no issues at all! I definitely will recommend! The product, order and delivery service get five stars!!!!

Membership?

It took a long time to receive my item, and I woke up to a random charge on my account from SB and didn’t know why. When I reached out the representative helped me quickly. I was told that when you do the buying process you also sign up for a membership. I didn’t know that but I believe that should be more clear or just don’t have a membership at all? If the membership gets you discounts and stuff that should be a separate thing, not just thrown in the mix when purchasing. Most people when purchasing items don’t think about memberships unless it’s specifically stated from the beginning prior to purchase. Or don’t proceed unless they check a box that says “yes, I want a membership” or “No, I don’t want a membership”. It comes off a bit sneaky and deceitful.
Update: I just looked at my messages with the care team and it states that for your first purchase you’re automatically enrolled in a VIP membership. I still feel like it shouldn’t be an automatic thing. I believe it’s just better to have the choice to opt out to avoid confusion and lost money.
