For context, when a checkout shows declined on our end but a pending charge appears on your bank statement, that's almost always a temporary authorization hold rather than a completed charge. These holds typically release back to your account within 3 to 5 business days without any action needed, and you would have received an order confirmation email from us if a successful purchase had gone through.

A product that doesn't work should always be eligible for replacement or refund, and we know that distinction isn't always easy to find on our end.

A couple of things to address here. Our buy 2 get 1 free promotions add the free item automatically at checkout, so if you only received 2 units something went wrong during fulfillment and we want to fix that. As for the VIP membership, that option is shown at checkout, but we know it can be missed or not feel clear, and a charge shouldn't come as a surprise.

Hi Kathy, thanks for sharing this and I'm sorry for the frustration with both the shaver and the follow-up charges.

To clear a few things up: a defective product is always eligible for replacement or refund regardless of the standard final sale policy, so not getting a response to your original email isn't acceptable and we want to make that right. Any subscription or recurring option is shown at checkout, but if you didn't intend to enroll we'll review your account and refund anything that wasn't expected.

On the ongoing fraudulent charge denials, once a card is canceled no merchant can successfully process new charges against it, so those declines on the canceled card aren't coming from us. We understand the concern given the timing though.
