On a Thursday afternoon our little embroidery machine stopped working leaving little choice or hope for a fix with orders mounting I had to source a solution.

After calling around for an hour I found Sewing Machines UK in Medway. I spoke with Tony who was so helpful and booked us in the next day to look at our machine. I also informed Tony that I was looking to also upgrade to a PR680w Brother and he had one in stock to which I jumped at the chance and purchased.

The following day I arrived and not only had Tony arranged all the items but gave myself and my partner a run down with Alex the engineer on the device. I cannot tell you how knowledgeable, kind and helpful the customer service was from both Tony and Alex.

Every question was answered and the customer service was second to none, going above and beyond to show all aspects of the machine. I really cannot fault my purchase with Tony and Alex and can say I will be placing all further orders with Sewing Machines UK.

I live in Essex but was recommended by a friend who suggested a visit would be well worth the journey - it most definitely was! Having taken along my current machine which my local supplier had told me had nothing wrong with it apart from needing a new bobbin holder and different thread, the young girl was able to identify immediately there was something more serious going on. I had pretty much made up my mind to purchase a new machine anyway and received great advice with no pressure to buy. Various makes and models were unboxed and demonstrated to me with the pros and cons and I eventually chose a super new machine which arrived by courier less than 24 hours later. I'm over the moon - thank you!

Amazing value for money and there are lots of ways to pay such as spreading the cost monthly so you can buy everything you need in one go to get started straight away.

I went in with my budget machine that I had dropped. I knew it was going to be the cost of repair vs a brand new machine.
The young lady who served me was fantastic. The engineers were at lunch and so I expected to have to return, but she had a look and spotted the problem straight away! The bobbin winder had been knocked into the on position and the bobbin holder snapped off- I hadn’t even notice. She raided another machine and fixed it there and then. She also spotted that my universal bobbins were not the best fit. The machine has been damaged by it adventure but should manage for a while more. I could not ask for a better service and when my machine dies I know exactly where I am going.

Tony was so patient and helpful when dealing with an issue concerning my Juki DDl-8100e.

Tony knew exactly what the issue was straight away when I told him that I was getting skipped stitches intermittently when sewing.

Apparently I had put my machine needle in the wrong direction and that’s what caused the problem with my stitches.

I can’t thank Tony enough as he was so patient plus he called me back via WhatsApp video call to direct me how to position my needle correctly which has corrected the problem.

Now I’m happily stitching again thank you again Tony.

Have taken my sewing machine here at the Gillingham Branch to be serviced then had an issue couple weeks lasted they took it in no problem and fixed all under warranty. Super Friendly and Knowledgeable I have had the pleasure of dealing with Holly who’s amazing. I also bought a new industrial machine which was delivered next day and set up and a demonstration from the great engineers.

I had 2 old sewing machines and went in to get at least one of them repaired. The staff member who greeted me helped me in with the machines and looked at them straight away. He saw what was wrong and showed me. He said either of them would cost quite a lot to repair and that spare parts in the future if anything else went on them would be difficult to find. He said it would be cheaper to get a new one than get either of them repaired. So I opted for a very good value Janome that was on offer. It was so lovely to deal with such a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful person and to come away satisfied.
