The plans were 45 pages of confusion. They also only show an option for making it a permanent building. The material list is awful, for one why would you use all treated lumber for the frame?

The plans are good and detailed and worth the price. When I needed plans that could edited for the purposes of submitting to the City for a permit, Shedplans CEO personally emailed me an editable version. Great plans and service!

The price for plans is way too high
The price for plans is way too high, but the plans are fairly decent. You DO have to know a little something about construction and adjustments of measurements, but for the most part, not too bad.

The plans are missing a critical step
The plans were missing a critical step, and my original message to Shedplans wasn't received. I received a message from them after posting my problem here, and they subsequently sent me the revised instructions. Very grateful for their follow-up. Now if lumber prices would just return to normal....

Not what I expected for $30. Got more detailed information and assembly plans by printing the installation manual for a similar Lowe’s shed. (For free)

Money well spent! The plans are detailed and ready for building. The seller was quick to respond to purchases. I would recommend this site for anyone looking to build a shed, garage, or similar structure.
I gave the seller 5 stars for this.
However, I was a little disappointed in not receiving a respond to my specific questions about plans modification.

The only problem I had is that all the sizes were ‘ for feet instead of some of them “ for inches. The other problem was all 2x4’s were pressure treated. The walls and roof does not take all pressure treated lumber so I have to figure out what I need PT and non PT. Everything else was good.

Excellent plans which are clear and concise. Im looking forward to building my shed and only hope my woodworking does the shed justice. Something to think about for the future though. Im presuming, as the sheds are measured in imperial measurements, that they originate in the USA. Unfortunately I live in the UK and we have gone metric some time ago. I find it easier to use metric and, of course, when we purchase wood its all in metric. If you could include an option to change the plans over to metric that would be great.
Having said that I cant wait to get started on the shed and many thanks for the hardwork you have put in.

The plans are not written such that you can turn the pdf over to Lowes or Home Depot and they can provide you with a raw materials list. It's a waste of money to buy these plans without that.
I have asked for this to be done for my own plan... a 4' X 8' shed.
