LOW INTEREST RATE. CANNOT WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY EASILY.
IN NOVEMBER 2025 I INVESTED SOME MONEY WITH SHEPHERDS FRIENDLY. I WAS INFORMED IN APRIL 2026 I HAD MADE 3.75% INTEREST ON MY INVESTMENT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I EXPECTED A BETTER DIVIDEND THAN 3.75% FROM A FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
I DECIDED TO REMOVE MY MONEY AND REINVEST ELSEWHERE.
I THEN TRIED TO WITHDRAW MY MONEY FROM SHEPHERDS FRIENDLY AND FOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THIS ONLINE.
I CONTACTED THEM VIA EMAIL AND FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO RELEASE MY MONEY.
WHY DOES THIS COMPANY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO GET IT BACK.
THE MONEY BELONGS TO THE CUSTOMER NOT THE INVESTMENT COMPANY.
NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANYS RETURN ON MY INVESTMENT OR THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY ONCE IT IS INVESTED.
VERY UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE WITH SHEPHERD FRIENDLY.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We take decisions about bonus rates very seriously, and our investments are managed with the aim of providing more predictable performance over time by carefully managing market volatility. Each quarter, we provide our members with an investment update, which provides a detailed commentary of the performance of our With-Profits fund, the wider market, and the bonus rate that has been applied to the plan.
Like any investment, returns can fluctuate. AER shows how much an investment could grow over a year if returns were to remain at the same level throughout that period. Bonuses are reviewed and applied quarterly, so future rates may be different.
Our goal is to provide higher returns over the medium to long term compared with a bank or building society account, and investments are generally intended to be held for several years. In your bonus rate email, you can read our latest investment update for more information.
We’re also sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced when trying to withdraw your money. This certainly isn’t the experience we want for our members, and we’d like to look into this for you. no cashback for almost a year!
Opened ISA with SF in may 2025 via quidco cashback.
it says cashback claim can take up to 6months, but its been almost a year with no response. when contacting quidco they say retailer hasnt responded yet. easy to trick people and they they money, harded to meet their own obligations. shamefull business tactics, especially for company that you trust your money with!!

I've looked into this for you, and the transaction didn't track through Quidco. Whilst most transactions track successfully, this can happen occasionally, particularly if Cookies are rejected.
We'll pay the cashback to Quidco on the 3rd April and then they will credit it to your account. This may take a few days.

I opened a junior ISA
I opened a junior ISA, arranged £1000 to be deposited and claimed £125 bonus. A total of £1125 appeared in the account within the day but then it all disappeared and a week later it keeps showing £0! Not impressed. Spoke to a very nice man and assured me they will investigate and get back to me in 2-3 days. Fingers crossed. At least the money has not gone from my account.
Also, it is very difficult to find the log out button on your webpage. Poor security.
UPDATE 01/0/2026 I had to call again a week later to find out what is happening with my account because no one followed up on it as promised. My initial payment did not go through but no one could tell me why and no one bothered to follow up on that to make sure I knew what was going on.
I have lost all trust and confidence in Shepherds and cancelled the account. I will not use them again.
