I dealt with Sherry Fitzgerald, Wexford Town in the sale of my mothers home. The house sold quickly and everything was handled in a very professional friendly manner. One word describes Nick Popplewell and his colleagues and that is “exemplary”. Always contactable, caring and displaying good old-fashioned business etiquette. To be highly recommended.

Just last week I have received the keys to my new home. This wouldn't be possible without the amazing Linda Christopher who was taking care of the sale. She was extremely supportive at all the stages of the process, making sure I was aware of what was happening and that I have understood the process (I am a first time buyer). Anytime I had any questions or doubts, she was providing the answers and clarifications straight away. TWO THUMBS DOWN & ZERO STARS sums up our experience at the hands of O'Neill Sherry FitzGerald trying to sell us Slinneadoir near Glengarriff, County Cork. The one-acre property is neither legally constructed, verifiable by survey or cert, nor even operational. We were enticed to buy in the belief it was ready to move into and discarded after half a year, absent any cooperation necessary for purchase. We couldn't wish such treatment on our worst enemy. Buyer Beware "Negotiator" Olivia Hanafin, unless you want to see bait-and-switch at its most shameless. Great at reeling you in is Olivia, but she will disappear the minute an issue surfaces that she is required by normal procedure to address. Waste of time.

Found any sherry Fitz franchise I've tried to contact to be very slow to respond if they responded at all.
Eventually we found a house with a different estate agent and sherry Fitz were to provide the evaluation for the bank. What's supposed to be 7 to 10 days took over 20 days.

I appreciate that the basics were delivered, but the process lacked a sense of care or attention. It felt more like I was going through a system than being supported through a service.

We sold a house in Galway with Sherry Fitz. I really regret choosing them. We did had some bad luck. The agent had an illness mid way the sale and then another agent had to sell it who'd no interest as, our property was small. But also, their process is to only do viewings twice a week. If people couldn't make those viewings they wouldn't show them the house. It definitely didn't show the house to all those who might have been interested. The second agent didn't follow up with several people who'd shown interest, despite me asking if she did. Over all, there far better agents in Galway who are flexible and will do more work to show your house. Before you sell, contact a few agents as if you are buying and see how easy the make it to view a house etc. Wish I'd done that.

Do not let this company in Lucan sell your property.
i have been chasing a duplex in Lucan for the last three weeks,viewed it twice and made offer on it.had no return calls or emails,very unhelpful staff then found out even when i put cash offer for it,it was sold below my offer.i was not given a chance to to purchase it.so owners out there thinking of selling your house,beware of this.demand to see all offers submitted against your property.consider other companies around this area before going with this company.

My husband and I had an appointment to view a house at 17:00 on Friday. We arrived at 16:55. We were to meet Liam. There was a man in the drive and my husband asked if he was Liam. The man confirmed he wasn’t and was also viewing the property. There was another man in the doorway he didn’t say hello shake hands or introduce himself instead he said your late your appointment was for 16:45 and I have to be out of here by 5. My husband confirmed the appointment he made with the office was for 17:00, twice more Liam insisting it was 16:45. My husband said we’re getting off to a bad start here and Liam said you might as well look around. Having purchased and sold 2 properties previously and viewed others I couldn’t get over the arrogance, rudeness unprofessionalism and lack of respect. Would not recommend.
