Recently got a mortgage and Nora was a great support to me. She was swift in responding to emails, text messages and phone calls whenever I contacted her with regards to the sale process. Sometimes made phone calls on my behalf to significant others or directed me on who to call in the bid expedite the process. She was so friendly and always ready to help even when she was on holidays. Will recommend Serry Fitzgerald McDermott company to anyone interested in buying their own home any day.

I contacted Midleton branch to ask if they would take on the sale of my property. I was told a more senior member of staff would get back to me. One week later I called back. Apparently they had never heard of my inquiry, but would respond as soon as possible. Well it never happened. I took my business to a Cork auctioneer who sold it. I am sure they are inundated with work. My impression is that they are arrogant and unconcerned.

We as a customer we have right to know what is the reason for unsuccessful. I have applied for more than 10 houses not even one I got a viewing. I understand there is a huge demand and applications. But I have applied at the very first moment it is posted. We are a full time working with clean record and I have mentioned it to them in my intro. I really don't understand how transparent they're in this process. It leads to doubts of internal dealings and unfair procedure. I appreciate you technology of automated process but when customers are spending time to fill in details and showing serious interest. Isn't your options to take your time in reviewing the application fairly to give an opportunity for the serious applicants.

Brenda Mulcahy is a professional, enthusiastic agent. She organised the sale of my house drawing in a lot of viewers and handling offers sensitively. Achieved a sale above asking price. She is backed up by a professional team and they took the stress out of selling.

Ed is a gentleman and guided me perfectly through a tricky sale of my property in Navan. We achieved above asking price but besides that Ed was so patient, empathetic and accessible. I would highly recommend him.

I went into the Westport branch of the franchise to enquire about the cost of a valuation, I was told there would be no charge ( to quote their website ' Thinking of selling your property? This is a free service and there is no obligation to engage our services, so if you need a valuation for selling your property we're ready to help. ).Nobody showed up for the first appointment, I had to chase confirmation of the second subsequent to which I received an email informing me there was a charge of €200 plus vat for the valuation as I had mentioned during the viewing I was considered marketing the property myself.

Abysmal Customer Experience
Our experience with Sherry FitzGerald Tallaght was poor, unprofessional and incredibly stressful.
The Tallaght Branch Manager intentionally made a false representation in relation to a condition of the sale and purchase of the property. This representation relates to a contingency plan for the vendors to move out, so there would be no delay on their part in holding things up.
In a follow up phone call that focused on this representation the Branch Manager became irate, abusive, and insulting, during this time he taunted us about ever getting into the house. Needless to say this behaviour was not the professional service we expected from a supposed premium estate agency. Regrettably we have also engaged SherryFitz in the sale of our own property. We wish we went with DNG.
When our complaint was brought to the attention of SheryFitz Head Office, no meaningful apology was forthcoming nor any real attempt at resolving the matter.

Furthermore, when we eventually moved into our new home the vendors had removed an array of fixtures and fittings contrary to sale agreement. SherryFitz would not respond or engage with this issue.

Save your money, premium price, poor service.

Barry Ensor in the Rathmines office was a pleasure to deal with, I always felt he was looking after my best interest, he was really helpful and always ready to offer advice. I felt he gave a very professional service and I would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property

Really hate using Sherry Fitzgerald,
In the process of buying property. I was interested in a property in Maynooth. I was obliged to register with their on line bidding system so as to give my offer. I was immediately out bid by 1st time buyer who would never get loan approval on this property as there were substantial alterations needed. If you want an auction try bidx at least you know everyone is playing the same game. So, if your selling with Sherry Fitz I wont be bidding unless its an absolute bargain pitched way below market value.

Sherry Fitzgerald helped us sell our 40 year old house, with the Bray office and in particular their branch manager doing a fantastic job. Great professionalism was observed throughout; we always knew exactly what was needed from us and the branch manager and her colleagues were extremely reliable in responding to messages and arranging meeting/viewing times. We particularly valued the branch manager's frankness in her guidance; what she told us about shifts in the market situation always tallied with external data, and she knew how to get across what it all implied for us. We cannot speak for our buyers, but the sense I have is that they felt they were being dealt with fairly, transparently and honestly. I would without hesitation recommend Sherry Fitzgerald in general, and the Bray office in particular, to anybody looking to sell a property.

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.
