I met with three estate agents for the sale of my property which was in a state of disrepair. Sherry Fitzgerald in Lucan, Philip and Tom, were the only estate agent who truly believed we could get a high sales price on the property - they suggested exactly what works I should do on the property to get it ready for sale, and they went above and beyond during the sale itself and afterwards. The property achieved well over what any other agent expected from it by over 50k, and sold for the highest price seen for a similar property in the area. They were more expensive than the others, but they are more than worth it. Highly recommend.

Sherry FitzGerald Dunshaughlin....terrible service from the agent. Pressed us to take the first offer or we would lose the house we were bidding on so our property sold for less than similar in the area. The seller said they would have waited. No working alarm or appliances as advertised in the brochure. Agent only seemed to care about those higher in the chain for her commission. Our buyers were told knock on the door of either the property they had purchased or our property for keys. Our sellers gave us keys. No timings arranged for closing inspections despite requests from us and our solicitor, agent basically ignored us. Their saving grace is Linda on admin who was always pleasant. Made experience more stressful than needed with behaviour verging on bullying.
The company replied to this feedback. I emailed customer care as requested and the email address given is not valid...speaks volumes.

We got our mortgage and life cover with the aid of our fabulous advisor Noreen McKenzie. Superb knowledge and expertise as well as friendly support through all the ups and downs. She was always available. We have recommended SF and specifically Noreen to family members and friends who are beginning the house hunting journey.

Sold our house through SF Drumcondra Branch - Jenny Byrne dealt with the sale - I have to say she was excellent from start to finish - she generated multiple viewings and without exception phoned me with an update after every viewing and regularly in between viewings. She was very knowledgable and very professional to del with. In fact the purchaser remarked that SF were great to deal with. Recommend highly

The buying process was eased greatly through the Aughrim office. The agents we dealt with were responsive in a timely fashion. Highly recommended agent.

Both William Talbot (SF Talbot, Nenagh) and Jonathan Gleeson (SF Gleeson, Thurles) were excellent during the whole sales processes and assisted in achieving maximum value. There are highly recommended.

My review actually relates to Sherry Fitzgerald's mortgage broker service.

I was disappointed with the service but my situation was complicated by the fact that I was remortgaging and staff shortages in PTSB and in fairness to Sherry Fitzgerald when I complained they eventually dealt with it to my satisfaction.

So I would simply say to potential customers that you keep a very close eye on the process as the banks are short staffed and the brokers can lose focus when it's such a drawn out process.

I had the worst customer experience of my life dealing with Sherry Fitzgerald in Trim. Impossible to contact & making multiple excuses every time I tried to get a response/update. If you are selling steer clear & if buying pray it's not them you have to negotiate with.

While the staff where very pleasant to deal with in general 2 things really sub standard.

The first was that on visiting the house 2 days after they conducted a viewing i went to check the house and found the back door had not been locked and had been swinging open for since the view, surely one lesson of being an estate agent is lock up the house before you leave. in response i got a lame sorry.

The second was that before the sale was complete the buyers want access for builders to take measurements, the sherry fitz agent then let them tear wall paper off the wall of one of the bedrooms. I asked for an explanation by phone, email and was studiously ignored.

Terrible company to deal with, I was looking to buy a house, we arranged for a viewing and they didn’t even show up or bother to let know they can’t come. So I was left waiting for an hour until agent finally answer her mobile phone, oh sorry didn’t you get my mail? No I didn’t. They also lie to you about the house, pushy, they don’t know anything about the house they are selling. They do know offcourse there are 3 bids on the house allready. Bad vibes tbh and will avoid them at all cost. Classic case of market leaders not caring about buyers, they deserve to go bust. I was dealing with greystones locations, avoid.

My personal experience with their Galway branch in particular Tony Kavanagh has been very negative, issues dealt with in a highly unprofessional manner.
