Kilkenny is a very small area and ostensibly John is known in the county by so many people.
He is highly thought of by everyone and his reputation as being an honest,
principled,
committed and hardworking man seems to be known and acknowledged by so many people.

We have to say that John Doherty is the quintessential gentleman and is a credit to his profession.
My wife and I were mad about him.
His kindness and duty of care to the both of us was nothing short of exemplary.

We were both overjoyed to have had John on our side and allied to this,
I always found all the Kilkenny staff at Sherry Fitzgerald to be so kind and empathetic too.

Over a bank holiday, I searched online for South Dublin listings. I was here for only a few days, and I wanted to find a good property. Few agents responded to my emails due to the holiday.
Amy Kerr responded promptly. The property that interested me was under contract. Amy took the initiative to ask about my requirements and suggest a listing that I had not seen online. We met that afternoon, and the property was perfect--exactly what I wanted, in a lovely area, at my price. Within three days, due to Amy's prompt response, the property was on the way to contract. Amy worked brilliantly with my solicitor, and we concluded conveyance a day early.

Don't go near them. Sherry fitzgerald Sandymount. Overpriced our house and then told us to except a way lower offer. Only that we stuck to our guns and held out for a higher price. They randomly organised viewings not taking into account that my mother was elderly. Never stopped pressurising her to sign contracts eventhough she had no were to go. Absolutely terrible I would reccomend going to the other auctioneers close to them in Sandymount so sorry now we didn't.

My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

Bought new house where Sherry Fitz are the selling agent. They were on to me every week till the contracts were signed and after that, you will be lucky to get a reply. Never communicated about upgrade option, as a result, I now need to pay more if I want things changed because they didn't do their job. Typical "Big Company" with no sense of responsibility towards customers... There are better agents out there who will sell, let and manage your property 100 times better than Sherry Fitz so AVOID!!!

Fees are a bit higher than competitors but they can get closer to there estimate then others

If you are renting, you are legally entitled to the FULL rental history of the property. it must include every past rental and not just the last one.. This should be given by the estate agent BEFORE you move in. Then contact the RTB to verify all information is correct. Your rent should not have risen all through 2017 or during Covid restrictions 2020.
Any rent between December 24th to July 2021 could only rise by a maximum of 4% annually. The 4% rule for RPZ has now been replaced and they can not add 4% since July 2021. Check RTB.ie

Failure to supply the FULL rental history is a breach of tenants rights and RPZ rules.

Get a solicitor or threshold to check over your lease agreement and check what your legal rights are as a tenant and what your landlord is legally required to provide.

Always know your rights and use the law as it should be

I dealt with Julian in the Castleknock office for the sale of our family home. He was very helpful and trustworthy when it came to dealing with the whole process from start to finish. I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of selling your home.

As recent purchasers of a residential property in Co. Wexford facilitated by vendors auctioneer Aisling McGrath of Sherry Fitzgerald Haythornthwaite. We would highly recommend Aisling and her colleagues in branch who offered a skilled and professional service from virtual viewing, right through to on site viewing and handover. Aisling ensured that there was a constant line of communication between vendors and purchasers and really went the extra mile to close the sale in a timely manner. 5 star service all the way !

Really bad service from the Lucan office. There's no follow up at all after purchasing the house. They answered us just when trying to sell the house.

After the sale agreed, they just started ignoring all emails. Never got any reply from them. I needed to know how many smocking alarms the house had for the house insurance. I sent them 3 emails asking and never got a reply. After moving in, we needed to know the MPRN to switch the electricity. We couldn't open the meter box as it was broken and stuck. Sent an email to them to see if they could get this info from the previous owners as it would get a while to get someone to come over and open the box. No reply at all.

I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. They don't care about you after you go sale agreed.

They will lie to you in black and white.
No follow up.
No ethics.
Please stay away from this company.

Unfortunately I am living a nightmare due to Sheery Fitzgerald. Im renting an apartamento for 2600 eur/month for almost 6 months and still didnt receive any one for Maintance and inspection. I currently dont have hot water neither heating system, for 2 days. They dont give any support, and the answer is "we need to wait", no other option presented. They "makeup" the apartment for the view before renting, when you move in, you start finding that the apartment is totally in bad conditions. Repeating, it is a 2600 eur/month apartament, now a old one. If you looking for a rent, do not rent with Sherry Fitzgerald, after signed the contract you are totally alone!

impossible to get someone on the phone, been trying to inquire about several of their lettings for over a month without any joy, no wonder the properties are still on the market.

We got the property sold but it was a very slow process.....

This is a review for Paul Stack and Company based in Abbeyfeale, we bought a House in 2004 from Maurice Stack.When we went to sell the House in 2020 we went back to the same great Company to sell the House for us. The sale of the House went through without a hitch due to the professional manner of the team at Stacks, we cannot praise them enough for their help in selling the House, Great team, we hope to do Business with them again in the future. We used SherryFitzgerald to manage our rental property in D8 for 2 years. During the period, they inspected the property 4 times and told us it was all ok to be re-let. However on my own inspection I found serious water damage in 3 area that were totally ignored and cost 1000’s to put right. After a complaint was raised and followed up, nothing was admitted so we fired them! They are incompetent and just want to churn properties. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

We selected Sherry Fitzgerald to sell our property as they were very professional, experienced and enthusiastic in how they dealt with us, prospective buyers and ultimately the buyers.
