I used to sell on shpock when it first came out and it worked really well, came back to sell more stuff I no longer wanted and found out it is NO longer free to sell..
Free for buyers but fee for sellers, makes sense however there are other free platforms which I will use..

Beware since I started paying for the use of Shpock the amount of things I have sold has fallen by 99% for some reason they are blocking people from seeing your ads I have sold 0 items in 3 weeks with only 1 like for a single item even though I have over 40 items of tools for sale my tools never last longer than a couple of days so I checked the reviews and it seems everyone is having the same issue you are better off sticking with other sites and cancelling your monthly subscription with these yes you do I have had people calling me on the telephone asking why I am not responding to there offers you are scamming people so you can make us spend money for your very bad service it’s not just me there’s loads of people having the same issue you just keep telling people to upgrade that’s a rip off people should stick with other sites yours as had it since I have subscribed to your service I got 1 like usually I sell my items within a couple of days so you tell me what’s going on then my prices are still low my items are still worth the money I am asking people want them but somehow you are blocking the sales just to make people upgrade and pay you more money I just constantly keep getting emails from you telling me to get more views of if I upgrade really you are ripping people off as far has I’m concerned you owe me 99 pence what I’ve wasted with you I wonder just how much money you are actually scamming people out of

To help increase your chances of making a sale, we recommend regularly updating your listings (e.g., adjusting the price or refreshing the description), especially if an item has not sold after being listed for a longer period.

..solange wir geduldig hinnehmen, wird sich nichts ändern...APP löschen..gibt Kleinanzeigen,willhaben, Vinded und andere...die Firmen müssen am Umsatz und Kundenschwund unsere Macht spüren..der Käuferschutz kostet ja mittlerweile zwischen 4,5% und 2,5% vom Kaufpreis + einmalige Gebühr..von den Werbeeinnahmen gar nicht zu sprechen..für mich kommt eine Firma, bei der ich ein APP haben MUSS, das heißt, ich kann nicht vom PC aus agieren, nicht in Frage.....wo soll das aufhören...

Shpock is a great selling platform
Shpock is a great selling platform, easy to use and secure. Very responsive if you have any issues, which is rare. I use a few selling platforms , some bumping items is more expensive than others on selling sites.

Shpock Not Free!
Shpock, unfortunately is no longer a 'free' platform to sell unwanted items frome home. Shpock claims it's because they want to cut down on advertising, so have introduced a 99p a month charge & will apparently dispense with the adverts on the app., along with offering other benefits. There is also a 'premium membership' of £4.99 a month. Shpock is no longer for the 'home seller', wanting to be rid of unwanted clutter, it now seems geared towards 'resellers'. The site and sellers have been plagued by scammers, with Shpock doing little to address this issue. There are other alternative sites, that can be used to sell unwanted items without a paid subscription! So with this in mind I will be closing my Shpock account, as it is no longer viable to use their service...

How Shpock is set up it allows so many time wasters hardly anything sells.
I was happy to pay £1 per month but then they upped it to £5 virtually straight away.
Its not worth £5 a month its hardly worth £1 per month.
Deleted all adverts cancelled payment and just sticking to Gumtree, Facebook Groups and Facebook Marketplace no problem.

Gestern meinen Account nach jahrelanger Nutzung gelöscht.
Es war ja schon schlimm genug, dass man keine neuen Anzeigen kostenlos erstellen konnte. Als gestern aber auch noch die Meldung kam, dass ich für das Erneuern bestehender Anzeigen € 0,29 bezahlen soll, war der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit für mich erreicht und es wurde endgültig Zeit Shpock zu verlassen.
Dass es eine Plattform, die permanent penetrante Werbunganzeigen einblendet, nun auch noch nötig hat von Verkäufer:innen diese unverschämte Gebühr einzuheben, sehe ich als langjährige Nutzerin nicht ein.
Leb wohl, Shpock, war schön mit dir bevor du auf sehr freche Forderungen programmiert wurdest.

Hallo Rebekka, vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Als Teil unserer laufenden Bemühungen, Shpock zu einer nachhaltigen Plattform zu machen, haben wir uns entschieden, für das einfache Erneuern von Anzeigen eine geringe Gebühr zu erheben. Du hast drei flexible Optionen, aus denen du wählen kannst:
• Kostenlos neu einstellen: Du kannst einfach manuell eine ganz neue Anzeige für deinen Artikel erstellen. Das ist in deiner Standard-Mitgliedschaft kostenlos enthalten und kostet dich nichts außer einen Moment deiner Zeit.
• Gegen eine kleine Gebühr erneuern: Wenn du nur wenige Anzeigen verwaltest und Zeit sparen möchtest, indem du die ursprüngliche Anzeige ohne erneute Eingabe der Details behältst, kannst du sie gegen eine kleine Servicegebühr sofort erneuern. Anzeigen, die gegen eine Gebühr erneuert werden, bleiben 90 Tage online statt der üblichen 30.
• Upgrade auf Premium: Wenn du viele Artikel verwaltest, lohnt sich vielleicht unsere Premium-Mitgliedschaft. People are uninstalling the app, hence lost sales.
What a shame, it used to be good.

kostenpflichtiges inserieren eine frechheit
die 0,99 pro monat waren für mich in ordnung, auch, wenn ich auf shpock wirklich sehr wenig verkauft oder gekauft habe. aber plötzlich und ohne zahlende (!) kundInnen darüber zu informieren, das system so umzustellen, dass das wiedereinstellen von anzeigen kostenpflichtig ist, ist eine frechheit. 'neu inserieren' kommt für mich nicht in frage, dazu fehlt mir die zeit und geduld und 0,29 für eine anzeige zu zahlen, um den artikel VIELLEICHT irgendwann mal um ein paar euro zu verkaufen.. wie dreist kann man eigentlich sein? shpock hat sich damit für mich erledigt und so wie es aussieht, bin ich nicht die einzige.

Self Sabotage Business Model?
Your sellers are the people that supply the products for your service to have any meaning. Without them, you don't have a business. Imagine thinking charging them a subscription before being able to list anything is a good idea 😂 Can't see this app lasting much longer when you can sell for free on Facebook and eBay. Some free advice; let casual sellers sell 5 items a month for free so that they keep the app at least, rather than uninstalling it like I'm about to do.

Shpock are doomed - backward stepping
Shpock are doomed. Since the pay to list nonsense I refuse to use it. I only used it to give items away for free but these lot wanted me to pay them for the privilege. That's never going to happen. Deleted it and will never be back. It never had much local worth buying - even eBay is free now
