I have had a bill off simplicity energy and i have only been with them a couple of weeks i cancelled within the specified time but they say i have to pay £100 early exit fee as they say i left after i know that i didnt now they are threatening me i want people to know what they are like they dont answer the phone its all email its disgusting they are just a gang of thieves and i want everyone to stay clear

As per our company's Terms and Conditions 5.2.5 - If you have agreed a fixed term contract with us and you decide to terminate your contact with us before the end date, we may apply an exit fee to your account (per fuel) as outlined in the Tariff Information Label for your product.

Not helpful when it comes to changing supplier
After filling in a Moving In form to take ownership of the energy supply from the previous tenants, Simplicity Energy took 22 days to get back to me, and then it was a sales consultant asking for information that I had already provided. All I want to do is settle my outstanding bill with Simplicity so I can switch supplier to Ecotricity, but I feel like they're being deliberately slow to keep me on their books for as long as possible, which is annoying, anti-competitive, and probably illegal.

I tried to submit my meter readings…
I tried to submit my meter readings online but could only submit gas reading. No space for the electric. I called and a lady called TYE answered my call politely and was able to solve all my problems. Thank you so much. I really appreciate how I was attended to.

Slow on emails but fantastic on phones
Generally the service has been excellent. Though some emails dating back to October never got resolved I called and spoke to Eunice today who understood everything and quickly resolved the issues without much prompting required.
Just call, don't email and hope you speak to Eunice!

Excellent Customer Service
Having had issues with incorrect readings and overestimated readings I managed to get to speak to Helen in the Customer Service Team and would like to comment that the service, advice and help was excellent. Helen was very understanding supportive and has now resolved my issues. Please pass on my thanks for her professional manner and support.

Hi.......
I have some worrying issues with my account,
I spoke to the Customer Service Advisor Tye, who was very helpful, very understanding with my situation and very willing to help me with my issues.
The issues are in the process of being sorted, but I feel I can sleep a bit better after speaking to Tye as I was really concerned. Especially during these tough times, and I can't thank her enough for her guidance.

Very pleasant call to customer service.
Spoke with Eunice today at Simplicity Energy regarding an old account I had with them. I needed to know how much I had payed for electricity between May 2019 and June 2020. She was very helpful and had a very nice telephone manner. She gave me all the details I needed a minute call.
