St John Ambulance Cymru provides first aid treatment, training, and transport for communities across Wales. Our vision is simple: for everyone to get the first aid they need, anytime, anywhere. Each year, we train thousands of people across Wales through accredited courses led by qualified trainers. Our wide range of courses include 3 Day First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, mental health first aid, and health & safety training. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a medical emergency or improve safety standards in your workplace, we have a course to meet your needs. We offer workplace first aid training at centres across Wales including Cardiff, Wrexham, Swansea, Newport, Abergele, Bridgend, Abergavenny, Rhayader, and Deeside. Alternatively, we can come to you to deliver bespoke certified training at your workplace for groups of six or more. We work with young people, employees, and communities across Wales to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone. Our trained volunteers deliver expert first aid cover at a wide range of public events, from sports matches to concerts, helping keep attendees safe. We offer transport services in partnership with the NHS, ensuring safe and reliable care for those who need it. Through our actions, we inspire others leading by example and supporting people to reach their full potential.

The delivery of the course was fantastic, it was at the right pace for all attending, an intensive couple of days but made so much easy by the support of the trainer.

Donna our trainer was very informative…
Donna our trainer was very informative and knowledgeable. She explained things in great detail and any questions she would answer and explain throughly.
She made sure everyone was comfortable and understanding during practicals. If we were doing things wrong she would help support and guide us until we got the hang of it.

AED form theory to practice
The course was provided to the highest standard, professional and entertaining despite learning pretty serious matters. Expressed in easy way to understand for everyone. Practice was quite a fun bit. Made our team more confident and experienced in usage of AED.

The Customer Sales Advisors at SJAC are always really great assisting with course bookings and invoicing. Had a slight invoicing error recently and Louise from the team was so helpful in getting it resolved, literally in minutes. A great team to work with.

Really enjoyed the first aid course
Really enjoyed the first aid course. Instructor was excellent and patient. I normally dread going on first aid as you have to do all the demonstration in front of everyone which makes me feel nervous and embarrassed if I get it wrong but we were put in small groups and did it all together, which takes the pressure off. Would highly recommend doing it with St John's ambulance as I was made to feel at ease and all the information was made easy to follow. Again I would like to thank the instructor for her support and making me enjoy the course.
