Extremely Disappointed — Damaged Boots, No Refund, and No Resolution
I purchased a pair of riding boots for $333 from Skip’s Western Boots, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. The boots arrived damaged, and because they didn’t have my size available to replace the sale item, I requested a refund. Instead of processing the refund I clearly asked for, they claimed they sent me another pair — which I never received.
Now they’re refusing to refund me, saying there is an “open chargeback” with my credit card company. My credit card company closed the case in Skip’s favor because they said I didn’t submit the right paperwork, leaving me out both the boots and my $333.
I followed every step I was supposed to, and I’m still left with nothing. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I would caution others to be very careful before ordering from this company.
