I have been using Sledgers since 2011…
I have been using Sledgers since 2011 and all my earlier 3 pair Sledgers made in France, I love these shoes for its beautiful design, perfect for suits, super comfortable, can walk like a cat with '0' noise and durability. Recently I got my 4th pair Sledgers, made in Portugal, hand-made, lightweight, design good, rest all 70%. Looks like at least a year I can use.

We switched the country of origin of manufacture when we acquired the brand 5 years ago now from India to Portugal. Although the products previously may have said made in France, they were in fact assembled in France and the uppers were cut and stitched in India and shipped to France and assembled. We wanted to add some additional quality to the process and have the entire shoe made in the same factory with experienced shoe manufactures.
We are delighted that you like your Sledgers shoes and certainly hope they last longer than 12 months!!

Très bonnes chaussures adaptées à la morphologie de mon pied large.
J'ai choisi un modèle extra large.
Par le passé (il y a plus de 5 ans), j'achetais mes chaussures chez un revendeur à Visé (Belgique) mais depuis sa fermeture, je ne trouve pas de magasin de chaussures qui vende votre marque. J'ai également une paire deux bottions extra large de votre marque. Je suis très content du confort et de la longévité de mes chaussures.

Ce style est l'un de nos modèles les plus vendus.
Étant extra large, il permet un confort instantané pour le pied plus large que la moyenne, heureux qu'il convient.
En ce qui concerne les revendeurs, im peur Beguim se révèle être un défi et nous ne pouvons pas vous aider avec un revendeurs locaux, de sorte que notre seule receommendation est de garder un oeil sur les traîneaux wesbite pour de nouveaux styles et offres.

Good Quality, 8/10 comfort
I like the shoes i got, although they are a bit tight. Packaging was not to my liking. It looked like it was sent from a first timer. If you had a place for uploading picures I would have shown you.
The site was good, but I was not sure of the size i chose untill i tried them on. The reason is the difference between what stores in my country use and what UK uses, even with the conversion table found on the site.
I hope with time the shoes will expand a bit.

Abdallah, thank you for your feedback, this is really important to us to understand which areas of the experience we can improve upon.
Could you perhaps explain what you mean by a ' first timer' and how the goods were shipped and received, more feedback would be really helpful, as i am always happy to improve all aspects of the experience.
In terms of the fit, with the shoes being 100% leather uppers there will be some 'give' in the fit and after approx, 4-6 times the leather will have stretched from how they felt when you first tried the shoes on. Hopefully this will not cause you any issues.

I got my consignment without physical bill which led to heavy custom duty , about 60 percent of the cost of consignment . There was carelessness shown while dispatching the order

Sledgers Casual Leather Shoes

The order came to my country on time
The order came to my country on time, however, I was not happy with the way the local shipment treated the delivery. I had to pay extra charges for assessment, and customs. I had no problem to pay for customs but for the assessment.

We ship the Sledgers brand all over the world, to thousands of our loyal customers, unfortunately on the rare occasion the local importation process seems to decide upon themselves to charge additional carriage, VAT in some case and clearing costs.
This occurs in isolated cases, we have ourselves attempted to try and establish what the local importation procedures are, this though given the amount of countries we ship to is somewhat challenging given each country has different tariff codes etc.
We are examining if we should add this to the site, to note in some cases local duties etc may be charged.
It is annoying as there is no consistency and its out of our hands.
As a gesture of goodwill i will ask Peta to issue you with a voucher , on Monday, which you can spend on line, through www.sledgers.com for £40.00, which i hope may soften the blow a little.
This voucher will expire in 30 days.

We certainly always listen to customers feedback, good or bad and certainly like to reply to all of the reviews we receive.
Clearly this is disappointing as the Atlanta is a brand new style, launched literally 4 weeks ago for the Spring / Summer season. Atlanta in fact has almost every attribute we use in our collection in one shoe, its one of only two shoes which have this multiple attributes, so to hear its not at all comfortable is really surprising.
If you have not worn these outside i am happy to exchange for a alternative pair, although if they have been worn switching them for a replacement is impossible.
We will drop you a separate e mail discussing ways we will try to help you.
