Amazing Service
I was looking to buy my first turntable and I popped into their showroom after becoming overwhelmed with reviews online. I walked in and I was instantly greeted by Rakesh. I explained my situation and he talked me through lots of options and the perks and cons of each one. I never felt rushed, he was happy to take me back over the options we'd already been through. This is great for someone like me as I always seem to have a million and one questions. I'm really pleased with the turntable Rakesh recommended.
I then used the live chat function, which I was instantly pleased with as you can actually speak with somebody rather than AI. I was chatting with a chap called Tom, he was extremely helpful. It's worth noting, I used the live chat for a general query and not a product issue.
Overall, they seem like a great company with great staff and I can't recommend them enough.

Audio-Technica turntable & Edifier speakers
Been looking at different turntable/speaker bundles for a while and SHS had the best one for my requirements and budget.
Appreciated the website guide to different turntables and setups.
The price was the best I’d found for what I wanted and was delivered within a couple of days of ordering with updates all along the process.
Everything was well packaged and setting up was very easy even for me and for the price the sound is amazing. I love my bass and these speakers have plenty but may have to turn it down more so not to annoy the neighbours!
Turntable is very easy to use with automatic start/stop and the crackle at the start of a record takes me right back to the 80’s listening to records in my bedroom-happy days!

I purchased a Sonos soundbar for my tv…
I purchased a Sonos soundbar for my tv setup. My order was delivered free within two days and it took about 10 minutes to setup. The sound is amazing and so much better than the speakers in the tv.
As well as being good value the soundbar comes with a long guarantee which is a bonus.
The question is, what do I get next!

From order to delivery kept up to date and time.Delivery was a day late but that was down to DPD as they received the package early on day of order and as I say smart home sounds themselves sent many e mails updating.First time using them and the speaker I was looking for was scarce which they had it was an open box but came in full working order and As new visually.The price was very fair and even lower than some eBay sellers with no guarantee they were as good condition as this so I know where to look in future
