Great experience

The sales process was very good, we were dealt with by a lovely lady (Haleena). The problems came after the sale went through. We opted to purchase via finance so we paid an £200 deposit and was told I would receive an email requesting further information. I heard nothing for 3 days and then an email came through stating my finance had been declined. I called Sofology a couple of days later to see when my deposit would be returned as the finance had been declined, the man on the phone seemed confused but stated the deposit would be refunded within 2-5 days. He then called me back shortly after to say the finance had not been declined, the company just needed further information (email received CLEARLY stated it had been declined) and that I would receive another email in the next 2 minutes. Another few hours later I had still not received anything so a called the store again. Finally I got an email requesting proof of address, once this was sent my finance was immediately accepted and the order went through. Luckily I hadn’t gone and bought another sofa elsewhere after being informed my finance application wasn’t successful and I wonder what would have actually happened had I not called them to request my deposit refund.

The store was well presented and staff were nearby to help but not over-powering.
When I asked for some advice, Taj was really helpful and professional throughout the whole process. There was no pressure at all and he was patient whilst I went back and forth between choices.
What I thought would be stressful actually ended up a lovely experience! I can’t wait for my new sofa- thank you!

We were left to explore the store and take our time. Only when the assistant could see that we were settled and chatting and clearly ready to discuss our purchase did they approach.

We weren't rushed. We were asked about how we'd use the sofa, our lifestyle, what we wanted from the sofa, advised on how to care for the sofa, why we wanted to replace our existing sofas. He wanted to make sure we were getting the right sofa for our needs.

Been in today to look at some sofas. To be greeted by lovely lady called Jess. Who helped us pick a sofa i loved. Jess was very professional. Not pushy and not to much in your face. Felt really comfortable talking with her very friendly and such a nice person to speak too. Walked out after purchasing a sofa today very happy. Thankyou jess for you help much appreciated Athena :)

The store manager served us, Taj, I believe his name was. What a helpful, pleasant, courteous young man he was, you are extremely lucky to have him as an employee. He answered all of our questions, was very patient as we 'uummed and ahed' over choice of fabric and colours. There was no pressure from him to buy which put us at ease. Something that I thought was going to be a stressful experience was turned into an enjoyable one thanks to him.

The sales assistant, Aleema, was extremely helpful, polite and friendly.

We had already seen the sofa in another branch so we went to look again and decide whether we took the plunge.
The salesman was patient, attentive and knowledgeable. There was no pressure, which is invariably a negative.
We are looking forward to our new recliner in the coming weeks.
