Excellent company with a great product and outstanding customer service. Our initial contact was with a Paul Cruse who could answer any question and demonstrated a very good knowledge of the industry as well as his own product. I recently had a question post installation and called him for advice. He answered the call after one ring and couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything happened with the install as we had been advised it would with excellent documentation as well. All companies should be like this ! Highly recommended.

I have been through the quotes of many companies but SolarHome was really exceptional. Brandon the sales person, was very informative and very pleasant.
Not trying to just make a sale but explained everything carefully. I did a lot of research and founf their PV panels were very high standard and best you can get with guarantee of 30 years. Prompt service, good communications and excellent installation team from a local company

At a time where I was not getting any response from installers, Solarhome were quick to visit to determine what system would be appropriate. Once ordered, a site visit for final planning happened within the week, and installation took place well within the time span quoted. The installation team were efficient and friendly.

All went well start to finish Job was completed to a good standard.
Should also offer to screen off panels to stop birds nesting between panels and roof.

I cannot recommend Solarhome enough. We started the journey back in September and the DNO took over 65 days to approve our installation. So if you’re thinking of getting solar panels factor this in if your DNO is covered by GTC.
Communication from the sales pitch to installation was brilliant Neil Griffiths sorted out our design as we had to comply with strict covenants. The team turned up on the day Hans, Dan and Seb were professional, polite and efficient. The system is performing better than I was expecting.

Great experience with this company, from first contact to completion. No high pressure sales team, just honest information and advice. Installation date was quicker than I expected. The engineers were friendly and efficient. System is performing really well even through the winter months. I would recommend them to anyone looking to install a solar system.

Installers arrived when they said they would, scaffold put up afew days before and taken down a few days after. All electrical work including panel fitting was completedin in a day and was all working same day.

SOLARhome explained the product & suggested the best configuration & number of panels for our needs. The solar panels were ordered & installed in a quick time frame. The whole process was carried out smoothly & efficiently.

Right from the start Paul, the sales guy, was very easy to deal with and provided us with a lot of useful information about how to make best use of the panels plus no hard sell.

We opted for the panels and system SolarHome were offering because they best suited our needs and luckily for us the installation was done much sooner than expected which was good because it meant we got to see how they performed at the end of the summer.

The installers were very quick and tidy and got the 12 panels up (we're in a bungalow) and everything else fitted the same day.

My wife and I come from a technical background so we had done a fair bit of research and put together spreadsheets of meter data and costs so we could get a rough idea of savings. After some thought we also opted for a system with a battery and I'm glad we did because it works well for us as high electric users. A battery may not suit everyone because it takes a lot longer to get your money back and we all know batteries lose the amout of charge they hold over time. Also if you opt for a bettery you may want to change the inverter settings (ours is a Solis which is a good make) to force charge the battery overnight if you have economy 7, I may change the force charge time gradually as we approch summer.

The Solis inverter by default will drain a battery down to 5% and this is not a good idea, especially as the Dynass battery will alarm at 10%. Fortunatley it's an easy change in the Solis menu and I've set ours to 15% which is what Dynass recommend.

The Solis Cloud app is easy to set up and ok for seeing how much the panels are generating, how much you are using, battery state and grid consumption in a near real-time manner. The daily stats are little more difficult to work out when you look back through the data as the figures don't match, but it's not really a problem.

All in all the solar panel purchase was a no brainer once electricity prices soared and I think we are going to get about a 15% (possibly more) return on our investment.

Scaffolding installed two days prior to scheduled installation.
On day Solar Home contractor arrived with all equipment. I was expecting a team but the two men installed everything.
It was installed very very neatly, the wiring was so tidy and used my trunking as required.
The scaffolding was removed the next day.
Overall very pleased with Solar Home.
