I was looking for a solar battery…
I was looking for a solar battery system for my home in QLD. I requested for 3 quotes from SolarQuotes and within a day, all 3 companies suggested by SolarQuotes made contact with me. I made a decision and my 16kWH Sigenergy battery system was fixed in 2 days after I paid my deposit. Amazing.

Making it easy for older retirees.
The fact that someone with all the facts and knowledge of everything solar would look at my quotes and sort through the mounds of information was invaluable.
We eventually chose one of Solar Quotes recommended installers and the system will be installed in the very near future.
Just a fantastic service and very prompt in answering every query and reviewing every quote submitted to them.

Neither companies recommended by SolarQuotes would do a site visit. A company not related to SolarQuotes did a site visit and we went with them instead. A site visit is important for logistics and is an opportunity to talk face to face. Sorry, the quality of service from a company refusing a site visit and quoting from Google earth and a couple of photos is a red flag for me.

Thanks for the feedback and apologies the experience didn’t meet expectations.
I’ve looked into the details on those installers’ accounts and noticed their preferences around site visits weren’t set correctly in our system. They used to do site visits but this is no longer the case. I’ve now updated and filtered this so they won’t be matched with customers who are specifically looking for home visit.

A great source of info for anyone considering installing solar. Arms you with the questions necessary for obtaining an accurate quote without surprise addons later. My questions regarding solarquotes opinion of the three installers quotes were answered within 48 hours! 😃

1. SolarQuotes 'found' two reputable installers that I obtained quotes from for retrospective battery instal 2. useful 'research' information that enabled me to get my head around details and (very importantly) enabled me to understand car charging with a battery and ask installer good questions

Online information is good. Referred business was of no value.
We liked the information related to all the solar system elements and what to think about regarding the various parts of the potential system being sort.
Only one installer was referred to us, visited and did not seem positive that they could manage the job. We then sort out two more companies for quotes that we had heard of. Both came promptly and submitted quotes and revised them on our request. All this was managed before the referred contractor called us with a price, nothing in writing, they were $6k more than the other two who were with in $1000 of each other.
The referred contractor was basically a waste everyone's of time.

I’m sincerely sorry to hear that the installer we referred didn’t meet expectations. What you’ve described is not our standard and I'll be following up on this. I'll be contacting the installer to understand why the ball was dropped here. It is possible we would reconsider recommending them through SolarQuotes

Both selected companies provided very quick quotations. Were very pleasant to deal with. Selected supplier quoted lower cost of 4 Companies dealt with.
On site attendance by selected supplier was extremely prompt and very accommodating in regard to the design and installation of system quoted.

The system is very easy and effective
The system is easy to use and narrows down your requirements very effectively. Three business names were given to us. In our case one responded immediately even on a weekend,requesting easy to provide information to assist their proposal to us. Tiger proved to be exceptional in the knowledge and expertise in laying out in layman's terms how our system worked and the why they propose the brands they used. Very impressed with the entire process so far.

A Great Guide to Renewables
Solar Quotes started us on our solar journey years ago. We now have the complete package: panels, battery, and car charger. All tradies have been personable, competent, and communicated well. A great service. We feel great being 95% independent of the grid.
