Just received the order for a 4 syringe spore pack on sale. This is not the 1st time I've ordered spores, just the 1st from sporeworks. The samples look great! I have no doubt that they will grow, but will be back if I am wrong. *** Update: After 1 month I have good growth on 3 of the 4 syringes I bought from sporeworks. The one that hasn't is the black morels and I think the temp just needs to be adjusted. Be patient!

I ordered azurescens spore syring and Inoculated one 5-lbs, and one 2-lbs grow back. Neither bag produced and mycelium. This company is a big scam. Dont waste your money. Now I wasted 2 grow bags.

I read some of the negative online reviews but still decided to give it a try. At the same time, I also ordered from another site so that I can inoculate both cultures and compare the grow rate of spores from two companies. To my surprise, the specimen from Sporeworks arrived as a big black clump in the syringe whereas it's transparent in the other company's.

Still I inoculated two different grow bags. After 1 1/2 week, there is no growth with the bag inoculated using spores from Sporeworks, whereas visible mycelium begins to form in the other bag with spores from anther company.

My conclusion: do not waste money and buy from Spreworks. The quality seems subpar and this experience makes me wonder how clean their lab environment is.

Great company for mycology. Spores are alive. Research what you are doing before you blame Sporeworks for your problems. & as far as customer service. Sporeworks are for spore research, not cultivating mushrooms, it's illegal in America. So excuse the operator for having an attitude if you are talking illegal things. All in all a great company.

Didn't get what I ordered.i ordered AA+ but got some strange B+phenotype it's not even close in appearance but syringes both said AA+so what's going on here and how does this happen.none of my spawn from both syringes produced any lucistic mushrooms.WHY?

The website isn't the most professional, but I placed my order, and sent my bitcoin through coinbase. Sporeworks immediately confirmed receipt of order. Same day I received confirmation of order shipment with tracking.

On another note I ordered the same order from Lil Shop of Spores and after 10 days I have none of that...and no spores.

My experience with Sporeworks was no less than excellent. The ordering process was extremely simple and efficient. My phone call was answered immediately by Joanna, and she completed the processing of my order expertly and efficiently. If I owned a company, I’d want people like her working for it. I will shop at Sporeworks again because of her.

First time trying them and it’ll be the last. I read the reviews but I always attempt to try things myself...ultimately regretting wasting my money here. None of the spores for my mycology project worked for shiiiit. I waited over a month with high hopes...still a dud. The delivery time was great but that’s it.

Sporeworks is a reliable company that has been around for a very long time. The online mushroom community is littered with scam sites these days so be cautious. Sporeworks.com and mushrooms.com are the only 2 that have been rock solid year after year for the 16+ years I have been researching mushrooms. I've never received contaminated syringes from them and I'm guessing some of these reviews are by newbies blaming the spores.

A bit expensive but the spore count is there. Some are big clumps then others and some are more a Sparse spores in suspension (all the pe I noticed were low) but that also could of been shipping or simply spore size was too small to all clump up. I still had fine results w the PE i got wich was by far the lowest count. Not sure why all the bad reviews ab bad spores. Definitely is cheaper spores but they also are gonna be homogenized not (typically) big clusters or s tint at the minimum

I'm new to microscopy and in my first year I have purchased fungal syringes from different vendors. In that experience I have dealt with bogus fungal syringes as well as delays in shipping. Anita with sporeworks heard my concerns and made sure that this was not a problem.

I’ve never had so much trouble signing into a website. Make an account but every time you log back in you have to reset the password. Nice. And I write my pw down every single time not to mention google Remembers it so I know it’s not on my end… Once was enough, twice was aggravating, 3x now, I’m over it, I’ll order from someplace else.

This site has excellent service. I called in to pay for my invoice and the woman that helped me, Cindy, was very prompt, mannered, and made the process very easy, even as a first time shopper!
