PROS
- Customer service people are friendly and genuinely seem to care but seem to be unable to offer much real help due to poor management.
CONS
- Package took 24 hours to get from Melbourne to Lismore (north coast nsw, 40mins from my house) and has somehow been in Lismore for 5 DAYS.
- My package has been "on board for delivery" for the last 3 days
- I have called up last 2 days in a row for an update and been told the driver "didn't have time" to deliver my package.
- They intentionally make the refund process as difficult as possible so you cant get the extra money you payed for their "service" back.

I have been promised it will arrive today. If it doesn't I will make a point to tell everyone I know not to use this service.

Atrocious, borderline illegal conduct

Atrocious. Yesterday at 5:50pm received a text to say my parcel was delivered and left in a safe place as property was unattended. Property was not unattended, I was at home. I went outside at 5:51 and package was nowhere to be found, even though I had left explicit instructions as to where to put it if nobody was home.

I called startrack and was told there was photograph of proof of delivery, when I asked to see it, they told me they weren't going to send it to me as there was a person holding the package in the photograph. I asked if they could blur out the person and send it to me so I could check the house and see if it was the right address or my neighbours place. Nope. Apparently they just cannot send me the proof of delivery. No signature as it was "left in a safe place", no way of knowing who has my parcels. So now I don't have the packages, and I have no chance of reimbursement for the value of the packages. I cannot believe this is legal.

Terrible service & avoid using its…

Terrible service & avoid using its service. Doesn't even worth one star. I got a tracking number to track the delivery online. When I keyed in the number, the website said the tracking number did not exist. I rang up the sender (TPG mobile) who told me afterwards the tracking nuber was not recognised because the SIM card had not yet arrived at the warehouse!

On the day of delivery, I was at home but the courier just left a card in my mailbox saying I wasn't home and therefore had to pick up the SIM card from the post office! So the courier told a blatant lie to save himself a little bit of time to knock at my door. Dishonest and lazy workers only makes Star Track an unreliable service provider.

Star Track - Slow and Useless

Ever wonder why parcels take so long to arrive? This is how they operate here. My order came from Sydney NSW.. Landed at the Yandina QLD Depot 2 days later, all good so far... (Yandina is a very short drive form me). I rang Start Track to arrange to pick it up so I could have it today and avoid the ridiculous 3 day stuff around I have come to expect.... Cant pick it up for the same day for some reason so I arrange to pick it up the following morning. They ignored my request and shipped up 1hr north as they always do.. right up to Gympie.. Yep that's right they drive all my deliveries up to Gympie even though they are right around the corner me at Yandina. Then it takes another 3-4 days to get all the way back here.. Considering I typically ship sensitive instruments I hate this terrible nonsense. Star Track are as useless as all the other couriers in the area. Inconsiderate and hopeless as even the most simple request.

What if I want to pick it up?

No wonder this profile is unclaimed, I'd be embarrassed as well. I don't really have a problem with the delivery, I just wasn't there to sign for it, so the driver took it back to the depot. The "Sorry we missed you" card he left has a link for you to go to and take steps in getting your parcel. The link takes you to the Australia Post tracking page, pretty useless. The StarTrack site has a redeliver option that offers redeliver or pick up. I wanted to opt for the pick up, so I know I will get my package. There is NO pick up option, just the redeliver option that is automatically checked. You are FORCED to have your parcel redelivered only on a business day that you can choose, but only at a time of their choosing. Not knowing if they're even going to contact me with a rough time, I will most likely have to cancel appointments for the day and just wait for the delivery. They don't give an option for a customer to pick up their own parcel and they don't even answer calls after 4.30pm? People, give your customers the option to choose Australia Post if you use StarTrack to ship your orders, I'm sure most of your customers won't mind paying a little extra, if that's the case.

pathetic courier service

paid $20 express cold shipping freight, medication must be kept cold stickers all over the packaging,packed in foam container with three large ice bricks from supplier,5 days later still no delivery and when it eventually arrives ice has melted $300 medication in the bin,when i enqiure why it has not been kept cold in depots they say we don't have cold storage fridges, then why i am i paying $20 for cold freight express and why do they offer cold freight service if they can't store cold items in transit,

Poor excuse for a delivery service

Poor excuse for a delivery service. Had a package that was due and instead of them delivering it to my door - left it at the local post office.

I did contact them about that - lodged a written complaint and they simply fobbed me off and blamed Australia Post.

The only delivery company that I have issues with is StarTrack - I would avoid them like the pandemic.

Incompetent courier of the year

If I could give zero I would I had a parcel that was clearly marked urgent medical supplies and delivery instructions to place parcel in secure box at home address. I was home on the day of delivery and no one knocked to deliver this parcel, then I get an email to say I wasn’t home and they had taken it to post office for collections. I had my mail box checked and no card to confirm this. No one but myself could pick up this package and aust post and StarTrack didn’t want to know about it so I had to get a neighbour to drive me and support me into the post office because of my serious medical condition, as far as I’m concerned the courier ignored his/ her instruction on an urgent item that is in my opinion unforgivable and no one from the courier or post office cared less about it.

They left a no one was home card

They left a no one was home card, that was a lie, we were home all day. The person at our post office said, they often bring in 10 or more parcels at a time for people to pick up here. Really bad so called service.

Worst transport company EVER

Worst transport company EVER. A delivery from less than 30km away I was best to collect from the suppler but free delivery was offered. They said the address was incorrect and yet it wasn’t. They said they’d put it back onboard within the next 2 business days. They get it wrong and yet I’m waiting longer than snail Mail. Terrible! Don’t. Use . Them!

Star Track Fails

For the second time in the past four days, I have been waiting at home for two separate deliveries. On both occasions there has been no knock at my door and no calling left. The first I know about their 'attempted delivery' is when I receive a text message telling me my package has been taken to my local post office! Substandard, and I am loathe to use this word, 'service' from this shonky outfit. Raise your game Star Track!

Didn't even try to give good service

Was getting an iPhone delivered, they attempted delivery once but didn't bother with attempting a redelivery. They left it at a post office that's only open during work hours, instead of the 24 hour collection office 2 minutes drive down the road. Hopeless.

Lost urgent medical supplies

They lost a parcel of urgent medical supplies. How do you lose a tracked parcel with a big green sticker saying urgent medical supplies! No accountability or transparency and now without required prescription for 2 weeks due as it can only be dispensed every 2 weeks, not to mention the cost and out of pocket expense!
Update
I have been advised by the sender they suspect it has been stolen as they have had other parcels do the same thing this week and were confirmed stolen and reported to the police

If I could give negative stars I would

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered an item online which was sent using Star Track. They "attempted" delivery but were unsuccessful and my package was returned to the sender which I received a refund for. I re-ordered this item and called Star Track in advance giving them delivery instructions as I live above a shop. I requested the driver receive these instructions so that it would successfully be delivered and of course, they "attempted" again and were unsuccessful. This is so frustrating, especially seeing as I had given detailed instructions on where to leave the package. I can't stand this courier service. They won't even contact you! I was home the whole time and drivers don't even call you. Waste of time and effort. DO NOT USE THEM.

Delivery company that doesn’t deliver

They just don’t deliver anything to our house. It’s perfectly reachable sealed suburban street, and when we complained in the past they openly lied and said the street wasn’t sealed and it was a rainy day - which also is incorrect. I work from home there’s 0% chance they couldn’t find me yet tracking says attempted delivery. If you won’t deliver at least be honest and say “we don’t want to do the job we were paid for”. What a joke of a service.
