I sent my card over 2 weeks ago, i show delivered, i have tried to contact this company. you get no response the phone number they provide after ordering is not a good number. i think this is just a big scam..

Good product / poor communication

Very happy with end-product (though I haven’t tried it yet) BUT will echo several other reviews regarding the customer service… twice I wrote them and twice, after more than a week I got a response along the lines of, “sorry we were closed for holiday / vacation.” I think you can do better than that as this seems to be a recurring problem.

Card is OK - slow service, had to get done

The card is OK but chips quite quickly.
They are very quick to take your money but orders take 3-4 weeks to fulfil. Why not just wait until they have stock before doing advertising.
Also I had to send a card back to be redone.
Its an OK product but let down with sales and service

Thanks for your feedback! I looked into this with the team, and it turns out the card that was shipped with your order didn’t match the name on the order, so they weren’t able to process it.

The card was set aside for a few weeks in case someone reached out to claim it, as we frequently receive cards without associated orders. It happens quite often that people ship their card to our address displayed on our website without placing an order, which we find really odd.

Eventually, the team went through all pending orders manually and managed to match it based on the name filled in for the personalization details, since the name on the card received matched those.

The delay wasn’t because of the pre-order status—the product was already restocked at that time. It happened because the card didn’t have any note linking it to an order, making it tough to identify.

Just a heads-up for future orders: as mentioned in our confirmation email, if the card name doesn’t match the order name, it’s required to include a note with the order number so we can process it smoothly.

I ordered at the end of November

I ordered at the end of November, my order still has not arrived.
I’ve reached out and had no response. Shipped with Royal Mail, has been stuck on “The sender has let us know they have despatched your item.” for almost a month.

I'm sorry to hear that! I looked into this, and it seems the order was not marked as the D.I.Y transplant option as you had requested. Because of this, it was automatically categorized as "awaiting a card from the customer," which led the team to expect a card from you.

It appears that either we did not receive a confirmation photo of your card’s EMV chip size to verify the correct selection, or one of our support members mistakenly didn’t update the order to the D.I.Y option as requested.

As a result, the order was set aside until a card was received. Later, a shipping label was issued, which inadvertently caused the system to mark the order as fulfilled (since our system automatically marks an order as fulfilled & sends an email once a shipping label is generated).

I can see that you reached out to us in January regarding this issue, and we’ve since been in communication to resolve the confusion. The order has now been correctly reset, marked as D.I.Y, and processed properly this time. Please note that it is still the same Royal Mail tracking number that you've previously received.

We sincerely apologize for the mix-up and any inconvenience it may have caused. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If there's anything else we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My order was delayed three different…

My order was delayed three different times. The last delay was for a month. I was never offered a discount on the second choice I was forced to make. I will not recommend this process to anyone. Terrible experience.

lack of consistency and poor product durability

My experience with this service has been extremely disappointing. The first card didn’t work, and the wait time to receive it was excessively long. I then waited well over a month for a replacement card, only to receive a plastic card instead of the original metal one. The quality is terrible—paint chips and scratches appear after just a few uses. The lack of consistency and poor product durability make this service unacceptable. I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

We’re deeply sorry to hear about your disappointing experience and the issues you faced with our product and service.

To provide some clarity, we discovered that the manufacturer mixed a batch of cards with previous batches made from different materials without our permission. This led to inconsistencies in quality. The card you received, while still a hybrid card, contained more plastic (back plate) than titanium (front plate), which caused the inconsistent sound and feel compared to our standard 62.5% titanium & 37.5% PVC cards. You can clearly see that the card still contains titanium by inspecting the edges, which reveal the two separate plates used in its construction.

Additionally, if you compare it to the previous card you received, you’ll notice that the earlier version had a thinner PVC plate on the back, contributing to a different overall feel, weight and sound. We take full responsibility for this oversight and have already taken measures to ensure this will not happen again.

We’d also like to confirm that the quality of our current stock has been fully restored to our standard, with all cards meeting the expectations of durability and design.

Additionally, we’ve already processed a full refund for your order to address the inconvenience caused.

Guys card looks great but the tap to…

Guys card looks great but the tap to pay option would be awesome. Also the chip had a bit of glue on it and little bit of cleanup would have been nice. Other than that it’s great!

I love everything about my card

I love everything about my card, it is exactly what i expected and what they mention in the website. This card is super clone, almost 100 percent original. Chip works great. I had to send my amex card to them, they were responsive to every question and conern i had. Very trust worthy and reliable. Recommend them big time .

Great Product!

The wait was a little longer than I had anticipated, but the end result was worth it. The Steelskins staff kept in contact with me throughout the process. The card I received looked 100% authentic.

Only slight issue was that the chip wasn’t reading at all vendors, but I watched a quick YouTube video on how to clean the chip and now it works fine. The tap function doesn’t work, but at the end of the day I am very satisfied.
